Broken recovery , please help !

Hello everybody ! Sorry for my english and please help me ...
I manage to broken my recovery , after doing this :
( First of all I was having TWRP3.0.0 , unlocked bootloader and XOSP room)
Because of the IMEI 1 and the factory folder was broken, I use borets24 method to recover it (change it ) , from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/help/imei-null-asus-zenfone-2-ze551ml-t3190353/page2
I install and edit the factory folder , after that I install the service firmware WW_ZE551ML_2.2.30.1_20150417_1615_eng , I was able to put some random imei ,( because i lost the box too ) , my sim 1 is now working ...
after that I was wanting to go back to xosp room (or anny custom room) but because i was unable to flash with fastboot a custom recovery in the service firmware (is instaling but not booting in custom recovery or anny recovery ,just boot normaly )
So I install with asus flash tool WW_ZE551ML_2.20.40.139_sal358-amtech.vn.raw firmware ....but almost same problem , after a clean install , still not boot in recovery (error) ,
I already try to erase cache , same error. And after installing a custom recovery , its just reboot to bootloader .
My status : I made root with temporary recovery , and I have root acces !
I am on WW_ZE551ML_2.20.40.139_sal358-amtech.vn Room ( I don't find the last version raw file or anny )
I don't know if my boot loader is still unlocked ! ( on this room the unlock bootloader app give internet comunication error )
And of course i have broken recovery.
I try to re install over and over , to delete cache , to re install sistem , recovery ...ifwy ....img.. from same room , still nothing ...
I try to install official firmware zip , but i cant the file is too big to be flashed in boot loader ..
Now I install WIN7 , to try the unbrick method .
Any advices ?
And if somebody have , please give us a link to last firmware version ( RAW file ) .

When you have the error, did you try press power and volume up, then release volume up?

Error is wehen i try to enter in recovey ... the bootloader work ok ..
And after flashing custom recovey .... and try to enter in it , it's just restart the bootloader..

I think your bootloader is locked, when you are in bootloader, select recovery and then you have the error. Just press power then volume up then release volume up to enter recovery mode. The error message is normal.

Yes ,that works , but wehen I try to instal by adb sideload , 184 software ....its give me another error ... is loading ..and at 3 % , falied to read data ..
So , somehow I found a method to re lock bootloader ?
How to see if the bootloader is locked or not ?

When you adb sideload, did you flash with the same sku(recovery WW and firmware WW too)? Maybe try an older firmware. I read that .raw can relock bootloader but i didn't test. The splash screen is black or white?

It's black , but in the past wehen i unlocked the boot loader i flash black splash screen ....
Now i manage to install 184 WW , I'm on 58%
Maybe the raw , was relocked the boot loader .. if the 184 wil bee ok , i will try to see if the unlock bootloader app worcks .. because on this older version , give the internet eroor in app ..

Done , I install the 184 WW firmware ..but the same thing in unlock app : " An unknown error occurs , wich may be a network coneection issue , please try again later " May be because of the imei 1 ( not original ) ?
The other options to unlock bootloader are availible on this version of software ?

Do you have a sim card in your device? I never tried other method but i think it will work.

I unlock the bootloader by this method , and every thing is just fine , and finaly i have custom recovery !

Bootloop after root

hey guys , after unlocking the bootloader i tried to root my g4 H815 with TWRP recovery 2.8.... , the recovery said that it worked , unfortunately after rebooting the device , i got a bootloop , tried to back up using the "Send_Command" interface via cmd because i really need the data , but i keep getting the FAIL message , i can't even flash the stupid device , it indeed starts the flashing process according to download mode , but everything disappers after about 2 seconds , i'm sure i have correct usb drivers , it's like the phone's write protected , anybody please help me

Are you able to be in the download mode for some time? Try to use DLM backup using lglaf to backup all your partitions.

I have acces to download mode of course , but for some reason it's not possible to acces phone memory , as i can't even flash a firmware , i don't know what's wrong , first i thought the problem was due to drivers , but i realized it's not , i'm done trying to backup my data , i just wanna flash the stupid phone

I would find the stock firmware that you where on and try to flash lgup or flash tool and start again you will lose data but device will be working. And remember to always backup before hand.

First of all thanks a lot as your method perfectly worked , i just have another question out of curiosity if you don't mind , altough LGUP did work of course , i recently noticed that if you don't already have the Google account already registered on the device , and precisely on Lollipop and above , there's absolutely no way you would boot up your phone , i wonder if there's a way to bypass that Google Verification thing !

and just for reference , LG UP doesn't entirely flash the device , it just .... , you know , like just replacing the old firmware without deleting the data , LG FLASH TOOL 2014 doesn't work either , it doesn't even start the flashing process regardless of the firmware , so it's not an option .

Redmi Note5 Pro (whyred+stock) stuck on boot logo... Need data backup

hi guys...
this phone is stock with locked bootloader and usb debugging is not enabled
it wont go beyond mi logo and three dots (progress bar) at the bottom at the time of boot...
here's what i've tried so far
booted to recovery and tried to connect to MI assistant using mi pc suite... doesn't work
tried flashing twrp... but bootloader is locked
tried to boot twrp through fastboot... it gives a message "system is destroyed"!.... but nothing happens and everything is same after reboot
i can wait for xiomi auth. code if needed... but how to unlock bootloader if system wont load at all?
is there any workaround?
i NEED to copy data (many important pics that have not been backed up anywhere!) and frankly dont care if device is torn apart... just need the data!
please help!

hello guys. after a update my redmi note 8 pro (global) cannot boot. i can only get on fastboot but i never open my bootloader. i cannot get to recovery mode with vol up + power no matter how hard i try. what can i do? i cannot flash from mitool with locked bootloader i guess cause i get a stupid error.

It's pretty easy to fix if you can enter into fastboot mode but in my case situation is very different my device is completely dead/hard brick just notification light blinks, & only the solution is to get the MI Authorized Account & i don't have :crying: if Someone can help me please help

try with EDL mode ..
you can flash without unlock bootloader
it only works if you are actually updating from your own device and not by manual updating because you chose the MIUI ROM file incorrectly

Yet another bricked Redmi Note 9 Pro

I recently bricked my Redmi Note 9 Pro trying to reflash the original rom under TWRP. It was a Global version (joyeuse) originally.
It simply is stuck on a bootloop (Redmi logo showing up for 1sec then rebooting) so can't access fastboot or recovery mode.
After many hours of research, I kinda came to the conclusion that there is no way of flashing the rom in EDL mode without an authorized MI account for MI Flash Tool.
I'm still asking though : is there any trick to bypass it or flash the original rom without using an authorized account on a Qualcomm-based device ?

There's no trick and it cannot be unbrick as of now even mi service center can't flash fw through edl. Your only option are: 1.)Mi Service Center (they'll replace the board it'll cost you $120 USD like you bought a second hand of the same unit). 2.) Sell the parts to make profit and buy a new phone. 3.) Set aside and wait for available unbrick solution. You cannot avail services from indian and russian guys almost all their services are scam. That's all you can do and I can share.

I'm able to access both recovery and fastboot. Only issue is that i accidentally locked the bootloader while tinkering with it on mi flash unlock.
Apparently accessing EDL mode is the only way to get past this (based on hours of extensive google research, lol).

As of now I couldn't find any solution.
In my theory it can be unbrick in two methods:
1st method is bypassing authentication (server hack or modified mi flashtool).
2nd method is modified firehose programmer file.
We can use other flashtool programs like (Xiaomi Fire Tool, Chimera, and other paid apps to flash) but we need a modified firehose for that.
If someone else has the solution please help us unbrick our phones. May be we can donate instead of buying from someone else we don't even trust and letting them access our computer that's too risky.
Moreover, I asked xiaomi support, In our case they won't help us for them our bricked phones are trash. We are helpless.
In case someone has time to help patch these files for us. I got these files from latest firmware: (Joyeuse Global). I will donate my money instead of availing service.

Hello, I have my redmi note 9 pro (joyeuse) working again. After days of deep searching in the web for fix I almost got out of my mind.
If you have no other choice you can pay someone for authorized flash just make sure your phone can enter into edl mode stably. I was very skeptical and have trust issues but my only choice is: give it a try.

Hi, have you tried holding lower volume button and power button at the same time, that will make the phone go to fastboot mode. After that download XiaomiAdbFastbootTools and open it. It should automatically point you to Fastboot tab. In Fastboot tab under Image: 1. select ROM folder( oh forgot to mention to download FASTBOOT image for your phone's model before this) and for method put clean install and then just click on flash ROM and done.
Good luck from someone who has bricked a phone like you for at least 20 times lmao

Hey,
My phone is hard bricked, meaning that I don't have access to fastboot or recovery anymore. My only option was getting rid of the back cover, unplug the battery and short-circuit the pins with a pair of tweezers to access edl mode (which I did), then install the original rom with an authorized account (don't have + cannot find) or bypass the authorization or mayber with a modified firehose (I tried to find one, but didn't succeed as mentionned by gfchhhh earlier).
So I my brother gave me a spare phone that will clompetely do (redmi note 10 pro actually) !

This happened to me in 2020 when I bought the phone after the release and I tried to install the Curtana ROM on a Joyeuse device, so I bricked the phone by mistake!
Thankfully, I found some shady Telegram group with people that offered EDL service from India (I think...) with official MI Flash tool from authorized service provider (supposedly they were the owners of the account). At first, I was skeptical and I tried different ways to service the phone, but couldn't find any so I delved into the shady realm of a remote service provider.
From my experience, the dude in question that offered the service seemed very rude because he probably didn't speak English very well. I paid him 30€ through PayPal beforehand, which I know it was a risky move. We agreed on a date to fix the phone remotely, but he wasn't punctual and I had to wait a couple of days for him to respond. ‍
He connected via TeamViewer, he asked to download the MI Flash Tool (I don't remember the name fully), and asked me to put the phone in EDL with a paperclip or tweezers. Then I remember him logging in his Mi service account, sending a repair request (i think), and after a couple of minutes, he copied and pasted what looked to be a very long 2FA single use code (two factor authentication) to begin the flashing.
The process took about 30~60 min or so, of which I didn't remove my eyes from the computer at any moment to check if he was going to do pesky things through the remote access. After the long wait, the phone booted and I got my phone working.
I have never again tried to root the phone until today, because I have a severe problem with the audio interface and I need to modify some system files.
