I was deleting a bunch of system apps from my LG G4 /Stylus and when I went to download something from the Google play store it couldn't download also including basic downloads like from Google chrome so I figured it's from the 'Download' App from the system folder and I was wondering if anybody could help me find a spare apk if anybody have the same phone. Thank you

hey guys i bought my kids a arnova 9 g2 for xmas but i cant seem to get the market to work is there a way to root the stock rom that is on there or do i have to flash a custom rom, i only need root so i can use arctool to install the market so a temp root would be fine, any suggestions guys

i belive this also works for all G2 devices and possibly all other devices althogh i have not tried please let me no
EDIT:- now updated to market 3.1.3 and file is now in zip format
this worked for me, you do not need a rooted device
download this:
Click here to downloads the Files
download and extract the .zip and save the files onto your device, place in the downloads folder or somewhere you will remember, use the file manager to navigate to the folder and install the apps in this order
-1.Google Services Framework
-2.OneTime Initializer
-3.Setup Wizard
-4.Talk
-5.Gmail
-6.Vending
1) After installing all the Google Market files go try to login to Gmail.
You will get an error, don't worry you are ment to
2) Now go into settings and manage apps. Click on Google framework. Clear the data if you have the option also the cache
3) Do the same thing for Gmail and clear the data if you have the option also the cache
4) turn of and on again.
5) DON'T launch the market but launch Gmail and login. It should work.
6) Now you can launch the Market.
if you follow exactly it will work
FAQ
1) how do i extract it: right click and press extract
2) how do i skip the ad?: press skip ad in top right
3)cant loginto gmail: uninstall all the apps you have just installed, restart device and try again,
4) still cant login uninstall all the gapps, factory reset and try again

If you do't like the idea of flashing.
There are some alternatives like;
Blackmarket;

get jar;
http://www.getjar.com/
or
mobilrated;

just google
But there is a risk of downloading outsite the market.
But better something then nothing at all.
cheers mate that sounds decent and ill see how they work

I rooted my tab 3 7" T210. after that,i can't log in to my google account even I'm connected in the wifi and can surf the internet app...
I created a new account for google but after just a few seconds, it says that that account name is not available. and if i'musing my old one, it says bad connection.
I'm from philippines and I don't know if the problem is because of my previous firmware.
I tried getting the google play apk and google pllay services apk but i can't even log on to my google play account.
does anyone know the app for logging in my google account or what apk should I change in the system to make logging in successful
Thanks

go to etc then click on mount on the upper part of root explorer
find the hosts and delete it
restart the phone

Hi! That's my first message here
Just got an Xperia M as gift, and being it my 1st android phone i'm still trying to figure things out.
First things first: phone is successfully rooted, and im navigating into it with root explorer
My problem:
i have little free space left (80megs) , and got a pair of big games which managed to download themselves on the phone, but refused to install (dead trigger 2, 250megs)
This mean that when i go on the google play store page of that app i get directly the "install" button, so the game .apk must be somewhere on the phone storage.
Where is it located?
Where does google play store store the downloaded .apk files before installation?
I tried to look at the locations cited in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1699698
but couldnt find anything, so i guess Sony must have moved that cache folder somewhere else on the phone.
Does anyone know the exact location?
Thanks in advance for the answer
Received my Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition on Friday there and noticed it doesn't have icons in the Apps menu for some preloaded applications like Google Play Books etc. The strange thing is they are installed on the device as you will see in the screenshots. I can open then by going into the Google Play store searching for the app and rather than getting "install" I get an open button which opens up the app and it works perfectly.
I have tried restoring device to factory defaults via the option in the settings menu.
I have tried restoring device using Kies. It downloaded the firmware and installed it on the device.
I have looked repeatedly in the apps menu for the icons and I'm certain they're not there. I have even screenshotted the menu as there is only one page.

I've got an Amazon Fire Phone 32GB and by seeing some tutorials i was enable to install play store in it, but after a day or two it stopped working, then i formated it and installed everything again, it worked fine for two days and after it again same happened, when i open play store it shows only white screen and nothing happens, no message, no errors, no caution, only a white screen, please help me out
Thanks In advance
Install Play Store as a system app, then use any file explorer with root access and go to: "/data/app" and create a new folder named "com.android.vending-1.apk. This will act as a placeholder to avoid auto updates until your problem is fixed.
Please provide more information about the GApps you have currently installed: write down the exact version number of the Play services, Play Store, Google account manager, etc. so it will be easier to locate the problem.
Please list also if you use any extended privacy tools or Xposed modules...
