Any way to save the kernel auditor changes permanently so even if I put it in Greenify or uninstall it I will still have the changes? I want to change it from performance to Conservative for better battery life but then be able to change it once in a while if I find I need to.

I'd like to change the default governor for CPU scaling manually--no setcpu. I'm rooted and running a custom kernel.
I'm hoping it's as easy as pulling a file, editing it, then pushing it back.
How can this be achieved?
I'm on Beanstalk asop ROM and the minimum frequency is 1026mhz causing a battery drain. is there a way to change it with no hassle?
this should help

You could try getting trickster mod app (free) donate if you like...then setting CPU min lower, don't forget to enable set on boot and apply

Click to collapse
you also have to make sure the maximum is lower than 1024 otherwise itll just set the minimum to 1024. thats because of the kernel. the only other thing to do is change the kernel.
Im not very good at this CPU Clocking or know what the different "profiles" mean but im wondering what is the best type or profile to choose.
i have liquidsmooth flashed on my gnexus (gsm, verizon) the app i like to use is "FauxClock"
but im not sure what CPU Clock / HotPlug option to choose
i have it set on Max Clock - 1.20ghz
Min Clock - 350mhz
like whats the best clock level for best battery perfomance and then for best performance switching apps and other stuff ( ovbiously it will drain the battery but im willing to take the risk)
Is there a way to get to the governor settings on the stock kernel for the vs985 I'd like to change the interactive governor values to my own
I've tried all of the tuning apps but none of them can get my settings to stick so I was wondering if there is a way to do it manually like where are the stock governor settings stored?
Thanks for any help Rob
Hi Guys!!!
Please help me editing performance profiles..
Everytime i edit the
1. Power save
2. Balanced
3. Performance
profiles through performance setting above the developer options it gets reset to default. My settings dont save.
Presently im on CM11 RC20...
and i have read about the touch boost(the min and max frequency are same)
so everytime i set max and min value. The min value changes and goes equal to max value.
Can i change this behaviour. Because due to this the frequency getting stick to only max(which i set) and its not going down.
Please help me in editing(min and max values plus governor) these profiles to my choice and save them for permanent.
Thank you in advance.
Just tick the option of 'Set on Boot' and reboot.
Thank you for your reply...
I want to change all the profiles to my choice.
Like i want the below.
1. Balanced profile - from 300mhz to 998mhz governor- ondemand
2. Power Save profile - from 300mhz to 600mhz governor - powersave
3. Performance profile - from 300mhz to 1497mhz governor - ondemand
By setting on boot it is going to default. I want to manual edit them.
