Phone does get hot.
Never gets hot UNLESS I'm in the camera app for several minutes.
The phone doesn't get hotter than 40°C for me.

It never heats even with a very very long period of gaming!
It just heats while when connected to a charger and it's due to the turbo charger.

The heat for me is the best couse its cold..
Even during charging.. its cold
Only the charger gets warm.. read it WARM not HOT..
All the phones I use I do not use for games
So I do not know how hot it could get with games
But I had a lot of phones.. some of them was getting warm..
But all of them was getting warm when charging..this one is not
Ok, the charging time is horrible..but therefor it is not getting hot..
I find it more important to charge slow and cold..couse if the battery gets hot
It is not good for it and reduces the lifespan of the battery..
So, cold and good for the battery lifespan..

Hardly ever heats up. Only time I can say it does is when I'm actively using my phone while its fast charging

I used this phone for three straight hours last night while watching TV. Playing a lot of games, some Facebook, and a variety of other apps. Not once did it heat up. It stays cool. The only heating up it does is while charging, but any phone you quick charge heats up, so it's normal.

It stays cool. I will give Samsung that. As long as you don't fast charge and game at the same time.
I have played Darkness rises on high settings for 3 hours straight and it stayed cool (slightly warm).
I have also played less demanding games like Stardew Valley for 5 hours straight and it didn't raise the temperature even a bit.
I live in a relatively cool place where temperatures are a constant 15°Celsius to a maximum of 28°Celsius so your experience may vary. Celsius not freedom units/Fahrenheit.
