minimum brightness goes way down. Almost too low. I can only use minimum while in a pitch black room. Anything else I need it up a bit.

The lowest dim setting is perfect and not to hard in the eyes....and doesn't wake up my wife!

The minimum brightness is still 1-2 notches too high e.g. in a dark room (not dimmed).
On minimum brightness you can still see enough details on screen indoors or even outdoors. There is no abrupt change in intensity.
