The phone is very fast, especially after the 8.0 update. On 7.1.1 I encountered sometimes lag spikes (probably a memory leak), but since 8.0 I haven't got such problems. Regarding its speed, I can recommend it.

It's definitely one of the smoother android phones out there. Definitely no little hiccups like with Samsung devices, and certainly better than the LG V6. The screen has me in love with it though. I forget it's an IPS LCD display because the colours are amazing in super vivid mode. I did speed it up slightly by setting the animation scale down to 0.5 though.

Overall speed of this device is better than I feared using everyday apps anyway. No real noticeable lag in apps opening and only the occasional judder when scrolling. Haven't tried processor intensive games and have a feeling stuttering would be noticeable with them. I have the international 3GB variant.
No problem with speed. I haven't noticed slowness, jerky scrolling, or any stuttering. The only game that is a bit hard to play is Star Wars Commander, but compared to playing it on the G4 Play, the E4 Plus is silky smooth.

Went from a Sony XZ to this and this was mindblowing fast. Apps install so fast I rarely get chance to cancel. Very speedy storage speeds on 128gb overall, 6gb ram do help too.

The Z4 is a snappy device that has no issues with most of its apps. There's very few applications that you wouldn't be able to run smoothly, most notable being Gunpla Warfare. I feel that's more due to a developer problem than with the phone specs as many other applications such as DB Legends and Asphalt run at medium to high settings with smooth frames.

It's very fast. Installing apps or watching movies or streaming it's super fast
I don't notice any difference from my Pixel 2xl. I'm actually disappointed in this purchase.
