I remember reading some time ago that CyanogenMod doesn't support emergency calls... Is that still the case? Or have I misunderstood?
Is it up to the developer porting LOS to make sure emergency calls work properly?

Hey everyone...Im been stumped for the past 3 hours now. for some reason, my phone can't make any outgoing calls with my GN, but receives calls. I can send and receive texts, use internet, everything but outgoing calls. I tried swapping SIM cards with my uncles and its the same problem. My SIM will make calls on his blackberry curve, but if he tries making a call with his SIM in my phone, it wont work either. We are both from FIDO, can anyone help me out with this problem. And to add, i was able to make a call this morning fine with no dropping or anything.what happened between 11am and 3PM that i can't make calls?

Do you use a custom kernel?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA App
I have the same problem and yes i have a custom rom too. How do i fix it?
Custom kernel has nothing to do with radio. Why would you be able to flash them separately if they were related?
OP, switch radios. Also, gsm or lte?
agreed. If its lte, you may need to re-activate. *228 then follow prompts.
mine is GSM.
so, is any they any way solve this problem?
Hey guys,
Noticed a very weird bug on my 831C.
This is on a CDMA network, that I am using with an RUIM (CDMA SIM) after unlocking an out of contract device and switching to RUIM mode using DFS.
On other handsets, I can make a call, then add a call and then merge the two calls. Worked perfect on my HTC One E8.
When I try to do this on the 831C, the first party continues to stay on hold and the calls do not merge into a conference although that is what it shows in the stock dialer app.
Is this also happening with anyone else? Are there any workarounds for this? I have tried CM12, ViperOneM8 and stock Sprint HK ROM.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
UPDATE: This isn't a bug. Every network has its own command to establish a conference. I solved the problem myself. After making the two calls, you need to press the 3 little dots on the dialer and tap "PEOPLE". After this you need to swipe to the dialer pad, press 3 and tap the call button. This will join the two calls and a 3 way conference will be established. This method works on almost all other CDMA carriers. I have successfully tested this on Reliance CDMA India.
Solved this!
Hi,
I'm facing a strange issue with my 9 month old Redmi 1S since last 2 days. Whenever I dial a number the call immediately disconnects and all I see is "Call Ended Not Connected".
I'm using 2 Sims, Airtel in slot 1 & Bsnl CellOne in slot 2. First I thought that maybe its a Network Issue but when I tried both the sims in a different handset, I was able to make calls. I tried an Aircel sim in 1S as well but same problem.
And yes I'm able to receive calls, 3G is working fine but can't make Voice Calls. The OS version was JH45 and I didn't update as I was waiting for Kitkat/Lollipop ROM. But last night I updated my phone to latest JH 56.0 assuming that it will solve the issue but the problem still persists.
Also, someone advised me to clear system cache from recovery which I did but still its the same.
Hoping to find some solution from the members here.
Regards.
So, nobody is gonna help me here?
I am able to make calls only if I prefix number with *31#
Why?
I have an AT&T HTC One M8 flashed with Dirty Unicorns Official v9.6, running on Android 5.1.1. The ROM has been good to me, other than this problem I am facing where I can not receive calls. I can turn off LTE data and receive calls, but I cannot receive calls with LTE data on. I can send text messages, receive MMS messages, make outgoing calls, and I can technically receive phone calls, if I'm already in a call. I know this most likely has to do with the AT&T side of the problem, but I was curious what I would tell AT&T to get this resolved. Thank you for any input anyone has!
This is related to AT&T's particular implementation of Voice over LTE (which they call "HD Voice") not playing well with most custom ROMs (anything not based on the AT&T ROM, basically).

Thank you sir!
I've about had it with this phone internationally unlocked HTC 10 here originally had Oreo on it I downgraded back to nougat properly with the 2.51 latest firmware and now Sim is working on nougat but any AOSP ROM I use voice over LTE never works. I don't absolutely need voice over LTE to work but my phone does not always switch the connection to 4G to receive incoming calls either sometimes it would just stay on LTE and then the caller will be pushed to voicemail immediately. I can make calls from my phone fine but receiving has been a huge problem. I even tried the leedroid nougat ROM and it is doing the same thing as I thought it was an AOSP problem but that can't be the case as it possibly something with my firmware? I just want this headache to go away and receive my calls properly again! Any help will be greatly appreciated
Carrier is tmobile
So I've discovered that volte does not work with AOSP ROMs but it seems when I get a call the LTE does not go down to 4G to let the call be received is there anything I can do
