I can't get substratum theme engine working and I don't know why. It worked on every other phone I had, except on the G6 (rooted)

Have you flashed anything or did you just installed it from the PlayStore?
You need custom rom (like aosp based, not stock based) for the substratum themes to work.

not really. It worked on the HTC 10 and even on my old G3 (both stock roms) without any problems... Atleast app theming, things like SystemUI changes didn't work of course

Well full substratum theming only works on aosp roms is that right ?
App theming is working on some and doesnt on other phones but for full themes..
Not working here either (H870 Stock)... Says something about overlays pending reboot, but stays like that forever...

You need an AOSP rom with RRO support to get full Substratum theme support.
Otherwise Substratum runs in legacy mode, and depending on the theme some things will work and some won't, you also need a reboot everytime you apply.

Even after reboot it still says the same. The 'pending for reboot' overlays are all LG related, and the ones I may install don't even appear on the list, so my guess is it's just plain incompatible with the G6 framework... Although I did own a G5 previously running the stock rom, and some overlays worked, such as Ewhatscolour...

Try to see Super user permission, sometimes Subatratum is not granted SuperUser rights automatically, you have to do it manually.

Those apps were directly taken from lenovo latest update.
You can use permission manager to remove unwanterd permission if you need,
All antivirus in android device are BS,
If anyone has lenovo device and take those apks , they shows same permission ( u can search all previous versions had same permissions too),

Confirmed. Works just fine.
About the permissions:
This app wants permissions you really don't want to give. Like calling phone numbers.. texting.. edit / removing your accounts. I have no clue why a camera app should need such permissions.
I used advanced permission manager, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gmail.heagoo.pmaster&hl=en , to remove those shady permissions from the apk. Uninstalled the original and installed the edited apk. It works just fine on Temasek's Rom (Android 4.4.2)

Working good. But first I uninstalled the Dolby from Dragon FI to avoid conflicts.
i have here the same problem like with the other dolby atmos mod, even if i can open the app, there is no error....also all seems to be installed well.. and in audio_effects.config i can't see any lines related to dolby, can't pick a logcat atm :/

Dolby atmos is newer, and the Dolby in dragon-fi is older/uses older tech, but will be updated in July too
It works great on Insertcoin :good:
I get with all Dolby things in logcat exception in abandon access right -.- could it help somehow? Otherwise there are no other Dolby errors or so

There is app icon .
I can't see app logo in there rom.may be it conflict with this rom although flash 's succesful do you double check . I tried to flash some time

2 apps are installed in system/app, I rebooted 5-6 times but still not work...i'll change ROM

First of all i want to say THIS IS NOT MY WORK. i'm just testing and posting
Instructions:
1. Download .zip and place into Internal Storage/SD Card.

Hope this can be fixed. Would be nice...
Otherwise I'll have to manually place a set of Apple Emojis into system with a root file manager, which is the way I usually do it on any rom...

Easier way is to download Emoji Switcher and select Google (Lollipop / Marshmallow) to return to stock emoji

Everything is working well without a single conflict.
My company email doesn't run if phone is rooted. What is this systemless root? Can I install it to get no root?

Can't tell unless you try it. It may detect root or not.
I also read somewhere that you could delete certain system services or apk files to get rid of EUI look.
If so, that would be the best and cleanest way to get the stock look.

I might give this mod a shot. I dunno. I'm honestly starting to actually like the depth of customizations and nitpicking battery options eui offers. I still would love to see CM on this hardware though. Would scream I think.
It runs fine for me on .19s (bl unlocked & rooted). I just can't use the lockscreen/notifications option or I get nothing but blank wallpaper and have to restore from backup. Apparently that bit doesn't work past .16s yet. Recents works fine though. I found a great app to get quick toggles back in the notification panel like vanilla. I posted it in the LP3 apps section. Combined with Nova launcher, software keys, and a few tweaks with Gravitybox... It's getting pretty close to vanilla Android!!!

Install it fresh, don't update from previous Pixel Launcher. I've not yet tested in AEX ROM, but it's working great on rest of the ROMs. I'm currently running Bootleggers.

AOSPExtended ROM has its own Pixel Launcher that cannot be removed/disabled. Therefore, I cannot install from fresh either.

You have to install another launcher to be able to switch and uninstall it ...
Nova launcher for example then you go in the settings applications you click on pixel launcher and there you click to set nova by default ... and there you can remove pixel :highfive:

I made a backup of it and then uninstalled in order to check this one.
As our friend told you in the last post, be sure to have at least another launcher installed, or a file explorer already opened, otherwise you'll have to manage it all from lockscreen's settings (on status bar) or install from ADB.
However, in this launcher you'll loose some features like changing app icons and other things AEX Pixel Launcher is already able to.
They aren't the same project, but are based on a common launcher (probably changing signature, while keeping the same label). That's the possible reason why you can't keep installed both of them.

it is working however the icons are not changing. icons are that square ugly sometimes smaller... any fix.
