No! Rom based Baked Blackbean Sources
First of all, BRILLIANT effort by devs. Its not often we find such polished ROM. Thanks for that.
I have been using this ROM since past 8 hours and its working awesome. With the help of Semaphore Manager included, i am now running 396MB of RAM (increased from the default 384MB).
It was lovely to see the GPU Accelerated UI option
Its a brilliant rom no doubt, but right now i wont post any more than that because S3 UI like ROMs tend to get laggy after some time (based on my experience) so its "true face" will only be visible after 48 hours or so. Hopefully, it'll still be quite useful.
There is one bug i found which is causing some problem for me as my Hardware Button doesn't work correctly.
The Settings, where we can change the "Hardware Keys" --> When i select my "Menu Key (Long Press)" for Recent Apps (or any other) ... it just doesn't work. Please see if it can be fixed.
Anyone who wants to flash it, GO AHEAD because its brilliant as your daily driver.

First of all, thanxx goes out to the developer. Your presentation in the first post is amazing, the graphics are great, everything looks nice & well structured. Well, I've tested your ROM too & I have to say it is really beautiful & comes with the typical speed of JB. Unfortunately it is very laggy from time to time, it doesn't react when pressing a button for getting an app starting or something in that vein
You must know, I'm not an expert but I'm a flashoholic. Means, I'm not a beginner with ROM-Testing and sometimes, ROMs "do what they want." This time its laggy, next time it works properly after re-flashing it.

I am proud to represent ChaosROM to you guys after alot of requests by previous users of S3 ChaosROM, The ROM is intended to be my daily driver so smoothness and battery life is my aim, i just hate Samsung UI so three themes are included in AROMA for now plus the Stock theme for who ever like it, hope to find a positive feedback since this is the first release

How To
How To
Rom Installation:
1. Download Chaos Rom and place it on your internal SDcard. If you flash from external SD Card please don't report issues.
2. Install latest CWM Touch
3. Boot your phone in Recovery mode.
4. Backup!
5. Select Install zip from sdcard.
6. Select Choose zip from sdcard and browse to Chaos Rom.
7. Select your wiping option in AROMA. Full wipe is always better!
8. When done, reboot your device and enjoy!Tips:
- Install via latest CWM Touch if you used TWRP you may loose the theme.
- If AROMA stucks, reboot and start again. However if the installation process reach the stage "Let Chaos Begin" just reboot.
- You have to backup your sms because it will be deleted by default and backup your contacts in case you get any android.acore.process FC, then you have to clear contacts and contacts storage data.
- For any misalignment in any application in any custom DPI, go to Xposed apps settings and chose the application you want to fix, then go to DPI and set it to 480.
Changing your MODEM:
If anyone is having issues with the baseband not changing, do this
Use Odin v3.04
Untick Autoreboot
if you are on old bootloader flash MJ8 mode.
if you are on 4.4.2 bootloader flash NB8 mode
Reboot once again into Download Mode using (Vol Down plus Home button combination)
Flash Modem once more
Once done,unplug then reboot device manually.
If this doesn't work, try repeating the flash process again while rebooting manually and with auto-reboot option turned off.

But you didn't mentioned anything about Modem and bootloader.
Is the rom KNOX free.
Also do you advise to flash any MODEM?
For example i am on Old Bootloader with MJ8 Modem despite the full wipe should i do anything else?

You cant flash a modem or bootloader via recovery so your modem wont change etc - just flash the rom.:good:
I think that this is the best rom.

This Rom has been tested by me and beta testers before release.
However I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,

TIPS
The aim of this ROM is to keep it as close to the stock firmware and light as possible. Because this way the ROM is the most stable you can get, and also you don't have any apps that run in the background that can have an influence on the performance and/or battery life of the ROM.

See next Post for the Aroma Add-on Package, so that you can choose which Samsung Apps / functions you want back.
You can use this Aroma add-on package at any time (multiple times) after flashing this ROM to add / remove features (So you can first use the ROM bare-bone and look for yourself which app/feature you want to have back). DO NOT install apps that you do not use to save battery and improve performance

All apps available on Google Play Store are NOT included in the ROM (or Aroma add-on package), you can download those by yourself in the Play Store.

Do not restore apps from older android version through titanium backup, install the apps from Play Store (so the version of apps installed are compatible with the ROM version of android) and only use Titanium backup to restore the app data for non system apps.

I am not much of a fan of the Xposed Framework plugins and do not use it, however it should work on this ROM. If you prefer to have these directly in the ROM and in case you think of any features you can send your suggestions with complete details so that I can look into it (No promises made here).

Installation
Check your bootloader and modems, you may have to update to the latest one for your device (below XXXXNE5 - KitKat will have issues)
Backup your device, in case you want to revert back.
Delete the 'android' folder on your internal sdcard and also all folders starting with a period ('.') on your internal sdcard (This is a must if upgrading from a kitkat or non TW ROM, these are files created by android system that can cause issues)
Factory reset (swipe at the bottom of the screen when you enter the wipe menu and do not go to advanced wipe for manual wipes which is totally unnecessary and causes issues). If using Philz recovery do not use 'Clean to Install a New ROM) Absolutely required as this is a S6 port
Flash the ROM
9515 users flash the kernel patch attached to post #4 before first boot
Reboot
If coming from any other ROM, select 'Setup as new device' and also unselect backup/restore app data while setting up the ROM. You can use Super Backup from PlayStore to backup & restore call log, contacts & SMS. Once the ROM is setup you can enable backup/restore.

If you are having issues after flashing the ROM, I would suggest that you download and flash the latest lollipop firmware (recommend the one for your region) from sammobile and flash it using odin 3.7 or 3.9 (3.10 and upwards seems to be buggy for the S4). Do a factory reset in TWRP (do not do manual wipes) and then flash the ROM.

shadow in weather widget is too big
@JASONRR, One more report, under Airview (settings --> movements & gestures) if enable airview all options are enabled by default and cannot be disabled/enabled seperatly.

I love the rom! It's super fast!
The only annoying bug in my opinion Is that in lockscreen, when i click on a message (for example) to open it and then i unlock the phone, it remains on the lockscreen and doesn't unlock the phone opening the message.. @JASONRR i hope you'll understand what i wrote ??
Edit: oh, and the icon aren't in HD i think, they are too big also [emoji45]

Will look into the TW launcher FC while accessing folder, for NFC and lockscreen wallpaper install from addons NFC and Samsung Wallpaper. Screen Mirroring is a known issue as with rooted ROM's need to find a way to get it working.

Have you done a clean install as I do not have this issue using swipe and are you using pin / password / pattern when facinf this issue. Will look at the icons (this is the S6 5.1.1 launcher and will need modding)

This is the default in S6 settings and I am not sure if we can do anything about it

NO Gapps - where can you find Play Store ? You just need a .apk file to install (apps able-to-run with GG service)

I'll try to prepare it by tomorrow. You can still install apps from GP as long as you find the way to download them as the ROM doesn't have Play Store. However, some apps require Play Services to run.

My work is taking debloating to the extreme and leaving only what's really essential for the ROM to work and serve as a daily driver. The main aim is removing as much intrusive apps and services as possible and make Android more privacy-friendly. I have made similair ROMS for Moto E and Moto G (both 1st gen) in the past and used both without any serious issues and got pretty decent battery life as a nice and useful side effect (up to 4 days on one charge with Moto G and 9 days with Moto E - mind that I'm not a "power user"). Before you install this ROM on your device please read the list of removed stuff, because something you find essential could be missing. Please also mind that you will ned to setup your MXP manually with ADB as there's no Setup Wizard to do it for you.

Removing these lines after installing and setting device up is strongly advised as they add peristent ADB debugging that could be used to break into your phone
Flashing
1. Boot into TWRP
(2. Backup)
3. Format data (Wipe>Format data>yes)
4. Transfer ROM to SD card/Local storage/USB OTG
5. Wipe>Factory reset
6. Install
7. Reboot
The ROM comes with Chainfire's SuperSU v.2.62-3 that may not work for everyone. I had to flash v.2.71 to get root access
When the installation completes you'll find there's no Setup Wizard, and some important UI components (Home button, Notifications, Quick Settings) are blocked. There's also no access to Developer's Options. Don't worry - they're normally being unlocked after you're done with Setup Wizard but since it's not there you need to do it manually:
1. Open ADB terminal on your computer
2. Connect your device
3. Execute the following commands:

reboot
Your device is now set up and ready. It's also a good moment to remove persistent ADB debugging from build.prop.

I'm uploading removed files, the link will be live soon. You'll need to restore CalendarStorage in system/priv-apps folder, and if you want to use syncing feature you'll also need o restore system/priv-app/GoogleBackupTransport. I'm not sure if it's gonna work without GApps.
Ps. to restore anything you need to simply copy it to the right place and reboot your device
EDIT - I always used stock kernels and was happy with them. If you want to flash different kernel make sure it's for stock ROM and it should work

I believe it's a kernel thing and I never messed with kernels (yet)
If I reflash rom.zip I loose my gapps

Installation
1) Copy to your SDcard "StockXperience_ROM.zip"
2) Boot to TWRP recovery
3) Go to Wipe -> Format Data -> Type "yes" -> Confirm ...
4) Install "StockXperience_ROM.zip"
5) Reboot
PD: It can take a long time to boot, I think doing a factory reset by erecovery(Stock recovery) after the installation could help.
To activate Xposed:
1) Open Xposed Installer App
2) Disable Xposed
3) Inmediatly enable xposed again

Love it! Especially the concise changelog - makes me wonder why nobody else can manage to post one...
One thought though, I don't like the concept of pre-rooted roms.. if someone wants root, they can easily download and install magisk or supersu. Id rather have the stock boot img than root software that will be outdated anyway in a few weeks.

Would you happen to have the package names of everything you removed safely in your ROM? i've been using PM to uninstall the apps i don't want/need from stock and i don't know what everything is by package name.

But my question, is once you remove stuff, is there a way to expand certain folders, and shrink others?
Like for instance, I'd like to recapture most of the log partition and add it to system. It would be nice to be able to eliminate the two large backup partitions, and add their space to other partitions. Is there a way to do this when modding a rom?
The other thing, is there a way to disable encryption for the data partition?

man I would really like to try this rom successfully but when I attempt I get bootlooped. I have tried flashing back to back boot partitions even but nothing seems to work. Is this ROM based on 120 or 130?

So, I did all that, even the factory reset after installation part. But, I'm stuck in a bootloop. It gets a couple seconds into the AT&T logo, and reboots. Returns to erecovery. Not sure how to proceed. Please advise. Thanks.
Does this ROM still exist somewhere? I see that the MEGA file is gone.
