I accidentally deleted the internal storage, the phone starts up and when I put Pin Sim tells me fatal error, fastboot does not work. Adb sideload works instead, I tried to flash a custom rom, install up to 46% and then just enough
Can I fix it or the phone is dead?

Nothing to worry, u assume you are on OxygenOS with TWRP? Try to wipe System, dalvik, cache and internalstorage, then flash the rom. And see if it boots, if not do a factory reset and it should be all fine!

I tried to install Paranoid Android and GAPPS. It get force closing on setup so I booted back into recovery to try to fix it and now there is no OS. I can boot into Recovery and Fastboot only
so you wiped system in recovery?
why dont you provide us with EVERYTHING you did to cause this?
did you do a factory reset before installing PA? that would have prevented the force closes.
if all you can do is boot into recovery, then just do a factory reset and reflash your rom...its pretty simple
I had a similar issue and it was caused by not using the correct gapps package. Correct gapps for PA 4.2 http://goo.im/devs/paranoidandroid/roms/gapps/pa_gapps-full-4.2-20130209.zip
I put it on a flashdrive and used an OTG cable to connect, then used "external SD" in TWRP.

I forgot which app I used to download the new image and GAPPS. I figured ig GAPPS was the issue i could wipe, so from Team Win Recovery Console I did a wipe of Cache, Dalvik Cache. I* *may* have also chosen to wipe System and Format data but I can't remember right now.
So I can boot into the recovery console but nothing else. If I try to boot it sits on the white Google logo until I pull the battery

if you selected wipe DATA, then your SDCARD is gone...you need to adb push your rom zip back to the sdcard and flash it. if you wiped system, then you have no OS installed any more...

I assume it's also the link in your sig and must be done from a PC. I won't have access to a PC until tonight but I do have access to a MAC this afternoon

yes, but for a mac just change fastboot to ./fastboot in the terminal window. instructions are still the same.

Ok phone is up and running again or shall I say limping. The 3G/4G indicator just shows bars.
I tried to install the eu rom through twrp. Twice now i have tried, something appears in red writing at the start of the flash, but the process continues. the phone however doesnt boot now. I have flashed twice and left to boot for over 30 minutes without success.
ive also tried to push the global fastboot rom on to flash that. When i go to fast boot, and run adb push it cant spot any devices. Xiaomi flashtool does see it, but it wont do anything until it boots up the phone and so it fails.
You probably did not format /data
You have to format and not just wipe /data
Follow the steps here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/wiki/flashing/twrp

Cheers. I didnt format data, will give that a try now cheers!!
Does format data wipe internal storage? Rom wasnt there after i did the format, i didnt tell it to wipe storage. Managed to get Global rom reinstalled using miflash. Going to give eu rom another go tomorrow. Panic over for now!
Hello guys. I'm having a problem, after I installed TWRP and then RMM state, I can not install any files or room via recovery. The error I get is "file is corrupted". I'll leave some images of the error. A friend told me that this happened because I installed recovery without clearing the data, so I did a total wipe, I reinstalled recovery, but the error persists. I tried to download the files again, I also tried to use another SD card, but nothing worked. How can I solve this?

You must format data in TWRP, not wipe - FORMAT.
I selected format data - typed yes - but not able to flash anything, only the file rmm state .
Are you sure that you have SM-A520F model?

Of course , follow print https://ibb.co/k63dKS
a while ago I already changed the room, but I had a problem with the kernel so I had to go back to the room stock and wait 168 hours. but now I can not install another room and no root manager
Hello,
I just unlocked my bootloader after waiting for 30 days.
Then I flashed official twrp via fastboot and booted to it with
Code:
fastboot boot twrp-3.2.3-0-whyred.img
I wiped Dalvik / Art Cache, System, Data, Cache but NOT internal storage
I flashed the PE extended 9.0 rom.
Now when I reboot it wants me to enter a password, I entered my PIN and it says:
Code:
Decryption unsuccessful
The password you entered is correct, but unfortunately your data is corrupt.
To resume using your phone, you need to perform a factory reset. When you set up your phone after the reset, you'll have an opportunity to restore any data that was backed up to your Google Account.
I click on Reset Phone and it reboots into TWRP and then automatically boots the system and again it wants me to enter my password.. and again the decryption unsuccessful message
In my first attempt I wiped everything including internal storage, then rebooted to recovery again and then installed the rom, but that didn't help. So I had to flash MIUI with the mi flash tool, then I did all the setup etc. and tried the method I used above..
But I always get stuck with this decryption unsuccessful.. What am I doing wrong?
//EDIT:
Solved the problem by TWRP -> Wipe -> Format Data -> Yes.
Now I feel stupid haha, I shouldn't do this stuff after working a night shift..
format data is the only way to decrypt
Hello.
Tried flashing older stock rom via TWRP.
TWRP installed fine, worked fine, flashed vbmeta, still everything worked.
Downloaded ROM, put it into the sd card, went into twrp, formatted data, rebooted into twrp again, wiped Dalvik/ART cache, cache, system, vendor and internal memory, tried flashing, gave error 7, with "mkdir folder file not existing or whatever". In twrp i went into terminal, made a directory /cache/recovery, tried flashing, worked. Wiped dalvik and when i tried to reboot, the backlight turns on for a split moment and then it turns off.
Recovery does the same, and fastboot lights up the screen with the image of fastboot but it turns off. Plugging it with the usb makes it so it repeatedly turn on backlight and off again.
What does this mean? Device dead? Any help?
Thank you.
Maybe try flashing a custom rom
With what tools if I may ask? Any advice you can give me?
Fastboot doesn't stay on like it should, the screen just flashes the fastboot picture and it restarts again. Recovery does the same.
Try following bliss rom guide with installation of twrp
Trying to do anything with ADB tools just gives me a "< waiting for any device >".
I'm sure there's other ways of flashing twrp

i think it's dead
-when the twrp gave you the error you should log it
-you should format data after flashing a rom ,not before (and only few roms require it)
your only option is flash VBMETA then TWRP again and see if it work
use the unofficial twrp : (3.3.10)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...ecovery-unofficial-twrp-xiaomi-redmi-t3997267
You should have formatted data partition after flashing the rom(not manually create those folders). You would be okay.
Any solution?
