have u try to recalibrate the battery? hope its works
Tried unplug and replug it?
There are times where the charging becomes slow for no reason. And usually replugging can work.
Also check your port connection. Does it loose in one end? Have you tried another USB cable?

Go to any diy mobile repair shop and replace the USB port is your best bet other than sending it to xiaomi for repair
It's not just about charging,no earphone support using the 3.5mm to type c converter.ive tried different earphones and adapters but none works.i guess I'll have to look for a replacement usb ?

Hi,
I've recently bought a non-geniune MHL/HDMI adapter and wanted to try out. The problem is that there is no signal / nothing on the tv at all...
What I have tried:
- At first with CM10 derivate roms and so on -> not working
- obviously only working with stock roms -> installed WanamLite ICS and still nothing at all, even with real stock rom 2.3. (but rooted)
- tried with a non-geniune charger, the original charger (5V Power) and with original-USB-cable Charging.
The special thing is that when I plug in the phone & the charger there is no charging of the phone. Should the phone be charged even when there's no HDMI cable connected? If so, I guess the adapater is broken.
(the TV is Full-HD, yet a no name one)
Thanks very much in advance for your help.

I'd say this is a good guess.
Hi,
Thanks for your answer. It was indeed a broken adapter. Got a new one which is working

Sure.
It's a "Maxxtro MHL-HDMI Converter". If you mean the cable, i use a no-name HDMI cable and the original charging adapater from Samsung.

You have link store for the europe? I'm italian
Bought it from this retail company, but the swiss one. The shipping is a bit overpriced, but it's fast and there's good customer support.
Link: Distrelec.it - MHL/HDMI Maxxtro
I bought an official Samsung-made one for 15e in Serbia, so I presume you can buy one even cheaper in Italy
I just got a mhl adapter, well two of them cuz i thot the first was junk neither one works i get the menu and everything to come up on my phone but no image on the tv. On top of that my phone always says slow charging when i plug it into my pc, the mhl adapter and the wall ! I cant findthe oem wall adapter. Does anyone know how many amps the oem lg og wall adapter puts out i use a 1 amp and it still says slow charging. Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance
Original charger is 5v 1.2 amps.also make sure you are using a quality usb cable, not a cheap chinese one.
Sent from stock LG E975/smart phones, dumb people.
Well i found the oem charger and cord plugged it all in and still no luck and i still get a slow charging message with oem charger. Im stumped....
Based on what you describe, it sounds like you've got a problem with your phone's USB port (or could be a circuit board)... I mean, connecting multiple components to the same port all show signs of trouble (no signal using MHL, and slow charge with different power sources and cables). The easiest thing to start with is to try and clean the USB port -- use a compressed air and a wooden toothpick (carefully!). If it doesn't help, consider a service centre, especially if your phone is under warranty.

Well i took it to a service center and they said that the port checked out fine and they couldn't explain the message ill probably take it to a different store.
I was on a vacation and accidentally quick charging stopped working there. I had QC 2.0 charger from Samsung with me and I was using it for months without any issues before, but the phone just stopped charging with this charger. It often shows it starts charging when connecting it, but almost immediately the charging disappears. Other phone that doesn't support QC works fine with this Samsung charger and my G4 can be charged with a normal non-QC charger fine too.
I thought it is Samsung charger what broke, but I returned home and tried G4 with Chinese QC2 charger that worked before, although now it charges my G4 (unlike Samsung charger), but only at 5V voltage, it doesn't switch to 9V. So it seems something happened with the phone what caused that QC stopped working. I tried other cables and batteries without any change..
Do you have any idea what might happened or how to fix it? I have v29a Nougat with Kesseras kernel. Wiping data partition with cache&dalvik didn't help.
EDIT: so it seems it is not only QuickCharge, but also cable connection to my PC doesn't work - either the phone doesn't appear in the device manager at all, or sometimes it appears as unknown device. It only charges from the PC. Is something wrong with my USB connector in the phone?
Hi, I had the same problem as you, the only solution is to change the charging connector.
sorry for my bad english ahahahahha.
a greeting.

if you have warranty, deal with it, if you have not, take it to an unofficial technical service that usually costs more than € 30

Unfortunately I don't have a warranty, so I guess I should be happy that at least normal charging is working for now and when also that stops working, I should try to some service to replace the port...
So I lost my charger some days ago and since our phone supports proprietary fast charging I wanted to know if there was a way to get a similar charger to work. I tried going to the service center but they don't have the replacement charger. Thanks.

I am using Mi charger that i got with Redmi note 3, it is good, i get 2.2 A max, which is good.
I have gs9, original usb type-c cable and charger. I found that cable can charge my phone just from one side not both sides despite it is type-c . How can find what the issue is? How can i fix it?
I checked another original cable+ charger, the problem is same as mentioned above. Just one side which is the same in two cables can charge my phone.

I had the same problem with my headphones once...turned out to be bad soldering on the usb type c port of my headphone (it was a charging and data port for new firmware) and had them replaced so maybe you can get your phone replaced too
If you have had your device for less than 14 days then I would recommend that you take it back to the retailer for a replacement. Otherwise take it to a Samsung Service Center for repairs.
