Just realised that documentations and websites never mentioned anything about VoLTE (Voice over LTE).
So now I'm wondering if the honor 8 Pro is capable of it? Huawei Mate 9 which uses Kirin 960 can do that. I guess there are other components that differentiates the honor 8 Pro from Mate 9, like possible the chip to enable VoLTE?
It is VOLTE enabled. Look here in the screenshot. I tested it with Jio and Airtel. Though Airtel doesn't have VOLTE service but it works pretty fine on JiO.

Can somebody tell me how I can activate VoLTE and WIFI-Calling?
I activate it but I don't have any icons in notification bar for VoLTE or WIFI-Calling.
With my Mi Mix 2s I see the VoLTE logo, on my Mate 20 i never saw them

Contact your carrier about WiFi calling, and it looks like you don't have a 4G/LTE signal anyway
my network provider has these options only as the options on my phone menu do not appear. before we had a s8 that worked perfectly
You have an International G960F with UK CSC/Firmware and a Romanian carrier, possible that combination won't work but not sure
and I'm not going to work from here

Last night somehow VoLTE just magically appeared and started working perfectly in Airtel network for me.

Hey Guys,
I've managed to enable VoLTE, Video & Wifi calling provisions within the network settings by editing the build.prop file.
Data works, calling over the JIOCAll app works, however, calling without the JIOCALL app does not work. Dialer shuts down immediately. Any solutions or network mod patches I can use? I'm on Oreo 8.0 with samsung experience 9.0

I'm getting this screen when I use app installed from Google play for enabling hidden vowifi.
My carrier supports volte and wowifi.
How can I enable it?
Already tried all dial codes.
(I get volte using dial codes but i can't get vowifi.)
