That's only the keyboard, he was asking about the full ROM. There's no option to change the language for everything.

I stand corrected then. So you're changing the language in keyboard then? Samsung had a separate option to change the system language.

After installing it, the following:
- it changed my home theme (no analogic watch any longer)
- changed text size to smaller
- appointments gone
- no botton courtain
- no background for all tabs
And the worst, uninstalling didn't revert it back as before so i had to restore a safety copy.
So, you all be carefull ...

You probably installed a lot! However, uninstall it and reinstall background for all tabs and other!

you really need to read before posting
What is your ROM?
Dont install anyone else's manila files since those might be customised to thier liking. I suggest you edit the home layout manila or the home.mode9 to get what you are looking out for

I am not blaming on you, i just let you all know what happened to my device after installing it, in fact i did it under my own risk but it didn't work. My HD has stock ROM 1.56, by luck i ALWAYS make a backup before any installation so nothing to worry.

You can try to use CM9.1 ROM, it contains Chinese support. I think AOKP also has Chinese support, but it may not be 100% translated. Make sure you do an adequate data, cache wipe when flashing the ROM, as I ran into issues before when I didn't do so.
And you already know about MIUI.
Can people check their phones and report back telling me what ROM they use and whether it has Chinese or not?

I'm actually trying CM10 right now. Making a nandroid of my current phone as we speak so I can install CM10 on top of it, but I would like to compile a list of ROMs that have Chinese, so I can test each one and see which one I like.

SorryI can't answer in the tread (new member rules).
The ROM is good but hava a problem for portuguese guys (from Portugal) like me, the ROM don't have Portuguese (Portugal) dictionary.
Sny one can tell me how intruduce that? Because writting SMS have no correction and that is really bad.
Only think that is missing at the ROM.
Can any one help me?

This is method
Go to settings > Language & Input , and go to "Android keyboard(AOSP)" settings. Now click "Input languages" and uncheck "Use system language". Now, uncheck all languages and check Potuguese.

But in this ROM the options don't show the Portuguese (Portugal) only Portuguese (Brazil)

Solid Stable ROM. Will report after sometime about battery life.
Only issues were "russian reboot menu" and in settings here and there some russian language. Accessibility still crashes, Please fix this and this will become the best stable ROM for our device.

New Google app update seems to make problem. Uninstalling update makes search bar normal again.
