Bugs issues after update 5.0.2 (d5322)

Hi all
its been 18hrs i have been using the update and have come across below issues.
1. creepy speaker output(feels very bad sound output)
2. sudden fezzes
3. camera gone bad i think
4. settings wont open many times while trying to access from notification notification dragged down
5. had to update latest album manually
will update further day by day if come across
also would request you all please confirm above bug if you face

slower? on 4.4.3 from 0% to 100% it took 4hrs, now on lollipop how much time it takes..?

it's the same for me., took maximum 4 hours for charging.
might even quicker if you put it at airplane mode while charging.

After Updating my D5322 to Lollipop 5.0.2 my phone's imei is gone.
I don't know what i have done wrong with my phone while flashing but i know that i flashed customized IN of India.

You will have to reinstall recovery... the same procedure as 4.4.3.

I got same with the camera. Its quality disappointed me.

dual recovery is due for update wait for nut to update it

Already contacted Dev and giving him all the log files he needed so there vl be recovery soon..see devb thread for more information

I've got the same problem! It all started when I modded it (unlocked the bootloader, flashed custom ROM and recovery, ecc.). I don't know if it's normal and I'd like to know it too. Anyone who's got the answers?

It is a known bug in almost all custom roms. Stock rom has no issues

Automatic lock screen time
Hi All,
Just use this New phone about a week found that has issue that Stock ROM 6.0 did not have setting to set Automatic lock screen time... Is it any other solution ?

Nope. Just update it to Nougat: there's automatic lock screen time on that version.

Nougat better than MM. Update by OTA, if you are not rooted and bootloader is locked, else flash stock MM rom, modify official update and flash via TWRP

I don't know any fix. The bug (and maybe all bugs) was reported here

Check this thread if they find any fix in future. I will also inform you here if I find any fix

thanks man, so that's mean root it must unlock Bootloader, yes my phone still original no rooted n unlock, so if i update to nougat is it need unlock Bootloader too than just can rooted？

You must unlock bootloader to root the device. As your phone is still in original condition, just check for updates in settings, it will display some updates, download and install them.

You can use Qfil: with it you don't need root or unlocked bootloader. Just download the stock ROM you're interested in from Zukfans.eu (maybe you can find it here on XDA, I don't know) and flash it with Qfil. We're changing the argument dough... the original question of this thread was another one. If you want further informations, search them here on XDA.

oh is it, what is Qfil? i am first user about snapdragon cpu so Qfil will not affect warranty or? i already fully search thread

I'll give you the infos about Qfil etc, but I have a doubt: what did you mean with "automatic lock screen time"? I'm asking you this because maybe i misunderstood and there's no such option even on Nougat's Official ROM.
Anyway, Qfil, in theory, will void your warranty, but, if you flash everything correctly, no one will notice you used such a program. About Qfile there's a guide just right here on XDA: https://forum.xda-developers.com/zuk-z2-pro/how-to/howto-flash-stock-rom-t3435109
You can find the stock ROM on ZukFans.eu: https://zukfans.eu/community/threads/full-2-5-412_st_-qpst.6185/

There are both the Indian and Chinese versions, but the indian one is not updated yet, so You'll need, if you want Nougat, to flash the Chinese one.

About this last guide, tough, i suggest to ignore the part about Windows Test Mode and, instead, do this (this is a procedure to follow so you can avoid drivers' issues):
1) Click on the reboot virtual button in the Start menu while pressing the left shift button.
2) The pc will reboot in a light blue menu, in which you'll have to click on "troubleshooting" (the second option).
3) Click on advanced settings/option.
4) Click on "Startup Setting" (the penultimate option).
5) Click on "reboot".
6) Press F7

Big thanks for good explained & well noted in my PC... But what ?? you not understand what is "automatic lock screen time" ? Oh not good per previous your reply #5 above mention nougat has that function but now you said no... ??
Qfil will void warranty so is the same method to root phone also lose warranty but is it root method more easy than Qfil ?
Please look into screenshot picture for you, as you can see my old phone (Old OS Jelly bean 4.2.2) has function to set time for how long phone will automatic lock but now even this ZUK Z2 is very New OS this kind basic function needed but not at all ... ?? i confused....

Nope. It's based on Demon000's trees that will be the official LOS ones.

Dual sim is not working on this rom. Process crashes on phone

Good Rom. dual sim works fine. with 1 to 2 hrs of test use. i found no uses in the roms.
This rom lacks immersive mode for few apps like skype ...... we will see back bar at the bottom even if immersive mod enable.
have switch back to rom with support for complete immersive mod.
I hope we will see more from the developer in the future update for immersive mod.

I'm having trouble with magisk. Every time i try to flash it the phone reboots back into recovery.
Happens when flashing right after rom flash and also after clean rom flash.
Any ideas why this is?

Thanks, missed that info.

The installation proccess works as you discribed and the rom runs great. I went to back to TWRP and produced a back, no error no problem. Later when I tried to use the TWRP back file, it did not boot up..
I flashed the rom zip file and no problem, rom boot up. But when I start up some apk most of them gave error.
I missed something?

Yeah this rom gives more app crashes and some thing are broken like theme colors. Also missing gamma conrol.
But will be better with updates i hope. Still the best rom for me.

Guide to Install MIUI10 Global Developer 8.7.3 Oreo

Hello MIUI & Redmi 5 Plus Fans!
Today I"ll present a guide to install the MIUI10 global developer closed beta release on your redmi 5 plus, the usesr whom are suffering from boot loop, Find Device Stopped Unexpectedly error during device setup or other TWRP problems.
Requirements:
1. Unlocked Bootloader
2. MIUI10 Global Beta Rom zip
3. Pre-installed MIUI9 Global Beta Developer Rom any version i.e 8.4.19 (7.1)
4. Official TWRP or Treble Supported Recovery (Recommended to avoid data encryption)
Procedure:
1. Boot into TWRP recovery (to erase data encryption format the data, do not wipe system, data)
2. Now place the MIUI10.zip into internal storage(Recommended)
3. Now tap on install select the MIUI10.zip and swipe to install, yes you have to do dirty flash, because a clean flash will never boot up your rom
4. Cheers MIUI10!

Don't u figure out the difference between practical & theory part.. if everyone can understand by reading then today YouTube platform isn't existed lol..

just need to figure out how to disable data encryption when booting onto twrp again. lazy flasher doesn't work.

Youtube is now used for every stupid thing, it used to be good some years ago. That is not the reason why youtube exists btw. Practical and theorical has nothing to do with it. Tutorial is clear enough, video is useless.

You have to format data, it may encrypt data again to prevent this I recommend to flash treble supported TWRP for vince it will ask password only single time not again n again like redwolf or normal twrp

Orange fox recovery supports treble too, do you know if it works with it also?

I have a battery drain with the android system, im only get 6-7 tours of sot someone can help me?

I didn't try orange fox at all, while I'd flash the linked treble-twrp, after single time data format the data encryption never get back

The battery drain issue may be solved in public beta release, as the closed beta release is for beta testes whom will evaluate the MIUI10 and the developer team will solve the problems, if more screen on time is important for you then revert back to MIUI9

Yes i been triying many ROMs and yes charge normally yo 100% without suddenly dead at 10%

Reporting back. With Orange Fox Recovery it does not work. After second reboot, data got encrypted. Dev said this is already solved on v6 but we need to wait until it comes up.

This is kernel problem i think.
When i flas new kernal wifi network forgot

I didn t flashed any new kernal...just reflashed the original one couse i need it to install magisk...
Anyway i solved editing the build.prop

Has it got call recording and net meter??? If it has i am gonna try it right now....???

You cal install apps to do soo.

I am just asking if it has these two features, call recording and network traffic meter then i am gonna try. If u have or anyone has tried it then do report whether it has got these features or not.

First...extract the boot.img from the Rom zip
Second...go on SU and click on the unroot button...it will reboot
Third...from recovery install the .img file
Wipe dalvic and cache (suggested)
Install magisk and reboot...

Here is the network meter...the recorder probably nope

The rom is very good and it does everything, the only problem I have is every time I connect the Smartphone to the PC, it restarts itself, what is the reason?
