You can run a debloat script to get rid of useless Samsung apps or from your carrier. Or if u root your phone u can use many apps from the play store to do the debloating yourself. Make a backup of your device before you experiment with debloting, u can soft brick your phone if u remove thje wrong one, I know from experience.

yeah.thats one problem of goodlock.if u want to remove.then flash the stock firmware through odin and then again flash twrp...it will be in previous state...else if u have any backup of system through taken by twrp before then just wipe system and cache and then restore only system.in this way u can save ur data.i think it will be helpfull for u.

Ok.thanks mate for ur information.i think its suitable with ur device.maybe u have less free ram in ur mobile to use this app.that's y it maybe slow down.here i have used before its working fine with mine.j500f nd i have checked its support for all mm devices.
I don't know it seems to work fine on J500 this app is optimized to work on S7 and S7 edge and probably on Note 7 too as it's not available for other devices on Galaxy apps so i think we need to wait little while
I have a j500f and i can confirm it works better than stock system ui.
For me its extremely slow and i have same phone but bigger display and more storage and more ram

Help me debload/uninstall all Samsung and AT&T apps and Skins (no disabling!)

The Samsung S7 Active is currently my choice on the best phone out there but I can not stand all the Samsung and ATT apps and themes/skins they put on the phone is there a way to uninstall or permanently delete them from the phone? I don't want them disabled I want them completely removed off of the phone..... I'd love to have the most vanilla Android possible as doing this will not only speed up the phone but should help with battery life and storage not having them on the phone...
any help would be nice
There is NO root at this time for S7A Nougat. But you can go back to Marshmallow and root it, so you can get rid of that boatware.
I haven't used 7.0 and I don't think I like it yet so I'm still on 6.0 but how would I make android more vanilla? There a Guide for the S7A to root it and permanently delete and uninstall all the Samsung themes/skins and ATT stuff?

Yes. Look at the forum.

What apps do I lose on root?

I couldn`t find some kind of list of which apps I lose access to if I root the Note 10/10+.
The last android fone i had was in android 4.4, so its been a long time.
I want to root, but it would be nice to know the apps that i can't use if i rooted.
Thanks.
Secure folder, Samsung pay and any app that makes use of knox
Most other apps can be made to work with tweaks

Most important question you should ask , What do i gain by rooting ? ad blocking ? system ui theming ? all of these things can done without rooting but if you are using exynos version you will get most of lost functionality by going custom rom route.

If you want just root + Stock ROM
- Secure folder
- Samsung Pay
- Samsung Pass
- Samsung Health
- Google Pay - There are some workaroun, search XDA
- Many banking and other app but should be fixed with magisk hide
but I believe those app can be run if you reboot to device without root.
From above many things can be fixed with some patch like
- Secure folder can work
- Samsung health can work
- Samsung Pay can be used with Gear watch
only samsung pass won't work but you can use Google's auto fill option instead.
Good to know all these things. I decided to root it when it arrives. Thank you.

Is rooting difficult and is it really worth rooting? Isnt it possible to mess up your phone / void warranty? Seems like a big risk just for a little customization

Yes it is worth rooting in any aspect.
Rooting is not "little customization" rather then deep changes "under the hub" and "risk" is only for those who doesn't know why and what to do with rooted device.
And warranty ?...Really, due to "effective" Samsung "support"...who cares about warranty...

ADB on PC. Here's some directions
How to uninstall carrier/OEM bloatware without root access
If you want to get rid of carrier/OEM apps from your phone, here's how you can uninstall bloatware from your device without root access!
www.xda-developers.com
At the bottom is the link to show steps to disable/uninstall, as well as a list of all apps that can technically be removed without breaking phone function. Not all of the apps in the link are present on our phones, as this is a list showing every non essential app that can appear on a samsung device. Of course some will be needed pending what functions you use.
There are two methods to do this via adb. You can either disable the apps, or uninstall them for user 0 (you). Disable ones you might want to bring back, uninstall ones you know you don't ever want. Uninstalled apps can still be reinstalled, so no worries.
What I personally removed/disabled
- Samsung Browser
- Chrome Browser
- Feedback App
- Youtube
- Bixby (Literally all bixby apps on the phone. dictation, routines, vision, voice)
- Samsung Weather
- What's New
- Samsung Free
- Samsung Members
- Samsung Checkout
- Samsung Pass
- Voice Wake Up
- AR Emoji
- AR Emoji Editor
- AR Emoji Stickers
- Google Play Services for AR
- Facebook app manager
- Facebook Installer
- Facebook Services
- Onedrive
- Deco Pic
- Game Launcher
- Gallery (I use f-stop. Note stock gallery is needed to view pics directly from camera app though)
- Visual Voicemal (I use T-mobile visual voicemail)
- Printing Service Components (all of them)
- I BELIEVE I AM FORGETTING A FEW, BUT OH WELL

Btw the -k in that script makes the phone keep all user data and cache for the app it's uninstalling. That can be removed.
A lot of those apps aren't on our phones though
I have a zip that debloats a load of crap.
It's working and forms part of my rom so I can take the unrelated crap out and share later if needed
Iv knocked a gb off the ram used it seems too

About bloatwares there are many threads on XDA and on the internet explaining how to remove Google and Samsung bloatwares with adb command with many lists of apps you can remove or disable by yourself.
For rooting and at present time there is only one way to do it and it's all explained in my tutorial you can find here :

You can find the latest magisk-v24.0.apk in post #174 so skip the one I posted in OP...
For optimization, as this is a new phone and as no one can propose the kind of optimizations you expect and as rooting is "experimental", you have to do optimizations by yourself... ^^
By "experimental root" I meant root is actually working fine, BUT Magisk is going on a new way as Magisk Hide is missing or not working as it should !!!
I did explain all this in my tutorial.
There is no TWRP available yet for this phone and thus no custom ROM either... ^^

Why dont you try an GSI of android 12 that might work out but then no root or optimizations

I have seen this term many times but still don't understand the meaning of GSI... ^^

GSI means Generic System Image. These kind of ROMs work on any device running android 8.0 or higher and support A-Only or A/B partitions.
Advantages
Faster Updates
No TWRP Needed (Only Fastboot Needed or Odin in Samsung Phones)
Disadvantages
Only 95% of the gsi may work
There might be a lot of bugs and issues

no dependancies twrp to custom rom (one can be created without other and vice versa) , indeed are several recovery (lineage, pitch black, orage fox) for custom rom , theoretically could be installed by odin. telephone is not so new (august 2021), has chipset 778 (febraury 2021) . Samsung UI , it's heavy and with some bugs or limitataion (randomly camera not working with bl unlocked, call reacording not enabled if you dont' flash uae rom). You explain so many , many works that custom rom can resolve with snap. That's why good Custom rom always better than other 10000 tiny, boring and time spendig jobs

You thought I didn't test Zygist before posting the different variants of Magisk till Magisk v24 ??? lol
Magisks post v23 were mostly written for the Oppo, Xiaomi and then Nexus/Pixel devices, but Samsung Galaxy devices were not taking into account in the devs's priority if not at all !
I follow most of the discussions in the development of the Magisk forks and no one even owns a Samsung devices or even care about Samsung.
There was a bug in Magisk v23 that causes bootloop in most newer Android devices (a fstab story) and instead of simply patching Magisk, they decided to take Magisk all apart with a fork for Oppo, another one for Xiaomi and then one for the Nexus/Pixel all with a different philosophy... Instead of Magisk Hide which was removed, then created new concepts of "Deny List" and/or "White list" but which work differently from the previous Magisk Hide !!!
Zygist doesn't work, or at least not with the Samsung Galaxy !!!
- First, it disables riru framework and EdXposed/LSposed modules and thus all modules based on them won't work anymore such as XprivacyLua, Firefds Kit and some others... Only AfWall++ continues working...
- Then, once rooted with magisk with Zygist on, I couldn't get any protected Samsung apps working such as Secure Folder, Samsung Health is working only partly as I can run it once but I can't access to it anymore unless I reboot the phone. Samsung Health is working in the background as I can see its notification and the number of steps I walked during the day (...), but once again I can't access to the inner of the apps and I don't have access to the health parameters... Samsung Pay also won't work and others I don't use...
ATM I'm still fighting with Android studio to understand how I can build my own Magisk app for the Samsung Galaxy devices...
