I just use "Package Disabler" from the Google Play store to disable to apps
Thanks but I need a root!
Di you delete at&t system service without root the phone!?
Can you explain!? with all apps i try the messagge is the same. . You need a root!
You CAN'T root the N920A since it comes with a locked bootloader.
Ok root impossibile is now conforme thanks.
There is other method for remove system apps like At&t without rooting the phone?
dude aren't you reading what they are telling you? NO you can't root, NO you can't delete apps or services without root. you can only use package disabler pro to DISABLE things.
Hi Friend, now it's completely Clear!

Hi Guys,
I recently got my Xperia Arc, and I love it, however it has a Chinese keyboard app on it, amongst others (Let's Golf, youku etc) and I cannpt uninstall them via the applications section.
All options are greyed out and there is no uninstall option regardless.
Is there anyway to get rid of these?
Thanks
PLEASE use the search feature first. It's there for a reason.
Anyway, you need to root your phone. Install Titanium Backup and you'll be able to remove all the unwanted stuff from your phone.
Once again, please do use the search. It'll help you to answer the questions which you've got after reading this reply. LOL!
Thanks for the reply and suggestion.
I did search, however it was most likely far too specific.
Furthermore, I understand I have to root the phone before I can use Titanium backup.
Is this a risk, can it brick the phone? Is it illegal to do so? Is this the equivilent of a iphone jailbreak?
I don't want to do anything illegal, I just want to get rid of some apps that are annoying.
vaibhavknockout answered all your question. Its the first topic in Xperia Arc General forum!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1133650
urgh I am confused about it all.
I don't know if I want to risk doing it, I still don't understand it.
Basically I want to get rid of the chinese apps.
I have an Xperia Arc with 2.3.3.
I live in Australia but have the Hong Kong version of the phone.
I understand I can unlock it via bootloader and I will need to root it to be able to install Titanium Backup which will uninstall the apps.
But can I just install the UK or Global image/rom and that will load it as if I got the phone from the UK/Global?
Rooting your phone isn't illegal nor is it going to void your warranty. You don't have to unlock the bootloader for rooting.
Do refer to [Guide] All in one 'Namaste guide' to Bootloader unlocking, Rooting, Flashing & more.
You can flash a generic 2.3.2 ROM (or UK if you prefer), then root using Gingerbreak and then upgrade OTA (Over The Air) to the 2.3.3 ROM and you'll still retain root.
Using Gingerbreak is simple and straight forward. Do note that Gingerbreak won't work on 2.3.3 and hence the need to root on 2.3.2 and then update OTA to 2.3.3 and still retain root.
There's a free version of Titanium Backup on the market. It requires root access to work. And it should help you get rid of the stuff which you don't require.
Hope this helps! And LOL! Use the thanks button to show your gratitude
As the title states I have an AT&T Note 8.0 SGH-i467. I understand the concept of rooting but I am totally afraid to do it. From reading other posts, I am gonna go out on a limb and ask can my Note 8.0 can be rooted?? I understand the concept of having superuser access and being able to do all kinds of customizations but basically I just want to be able to use all of my apps in multiwindows. Then I found this thread on how to (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1985240) modify apps yourself but again, I am afraid to do that or I don't think I am that tech savvy to accomplish this. So my questions:
1) Do I want to root my tablet just to have all apps open in the multiwindow and take the chance??
2) Do I want to give it a try and just modify the apps I use most?? (Seems easier than rooting)
I love my Note 8.0. It is the best thing in my opinion. If I was able to use it as a phone like the 5100 I would not even be using my Note 2 phone.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hi
just install CWM recovery and backup your unrooted rom.
then root your rom or install new rom or anything you want.
if you don't like it jast restore your recovery.
Since SGH-I467 has a locked bootloader, rooting it is a challenge. Originally I was not going to do it knowing the difficulties, but when a file explorer complained it couldn't write to the external SD card without root, I know I must root it.
Please be aware SGH-I467M (note the ending M) is a different animal. The Canadian version's bootloader is UNLOCKED, and thus rooting it is a breeze!
With my SGH-I467 I tried many different methods. Finally I was able to root it using Kingo Root (not Kingroot). Kingo Root is actually a one click rooting method. Just proceed with the instruction by the program.
Hello all, I am new to this so please bear with me. I need to root my galaxy s3 because I want to be able to install the ARLiberator app that allows full control of my phone on my pioneer appradio. This app requires that the phone be rooted and will not work unless it is. I tried a simple method of rooting I found off of youtube but apparently android 4.3 jas some sort of program that blocks the install of any apps not downloaded from the play store. Other than wanting to use this app I wouldnt have any need to root my phone so im not looking for anything elaborate, I want the phone to operate just like it does mow only with the ability to download the ARLiberator app. If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

You'll want to use CF Auto-Root to root with 4.3, you can find instructions for that here - you'll need a few programs and such to do it, but everything is explained within the first two posts.
My sister has been playing Pokemon Go with galaxy note 2 (n7100) last month and now she can't login due to new update (0.37) that restricts use of any custom ROMs I assume. I've tried removing and hiding root but no luck. There is DN4 rom installed and it is so good that I don't like to change it without purpose. Can someone share your experience with this game? Can you play it using modded/stock 4.4.2 roms? Or maybe using Magisk on newer roms?.. What a cruel way to ruin childern mood, Niantic!
Magisk is supposed to work. But try at your own risk.

OR you can always install the older version (if they still let you play it, but No Buddy System in it.)
Hi, i've the same issue.
I'm french user, i tried "hide my root" apk, i never cheat with the root it only necessary for me to block ads and because of cheaters we are blocked !
I have no success with hiding root.
Is the 0.37 update upgrade the test of compatible device and made the GN2 definitively unavailable or is the root ability which made issues ?
Thanks
So.. just a thought.. but technically if I am not mistaken.. This sud work out..
1. Use kingoroot and root ur device.
2. Install lucky patcher and install flygps/fake gps app as a system app (this way mock locations isn't required to be turned on)
3. Unroot using the same app, kingoroot claims it unroots as well.
4. Play pokemonGo.
Hi All,
I've got a phone from relatives that has been rooted.
But as a rooted phone, I can't use banking apps in it.
I found an information related to the Magisk that can hide root for certain app.
So, my question. Is it possible to install magisk on a rooted phone without flashing the whole system?
Anyone can share the guide to do so? or if it is not possible, can anyone share on how to hide root in a rooted system?
My phone is Samsung Note 10+ / SM-N975F/DS
Thank you, much appreciated.
