T211 bootloop to TWRP - Galaxy Tab 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I'm experiencing bootloop problem in my forgotten Tab3 3G. Tablet keeps rebooting to TWRP (v2.7.0.0) after wiping and installing Sweet+Dreams+V3.1 rom.
No hardreset/recovery option as there is no ROM fuctioning.

I tried to update TWRP with lastes version of Odin. Now I cannot even go into recovery...

Im pretty sure your rom that you are running is corrupted, this has happened to me
when this happens recovery will not let you run that ROM. So it will
keep rebooting into recovery. Try this, go into recovery Wipe Data,Cache and Dalvik
then reboot, if it still doesn't work try flashing a Rom.
my rom is the orginal sumsung rom that came with the device only rooted.
i will try wiping the data/cach/dalvik and then maybe restore an old backup that i have.
thanks for the advice.
well it didnt work.
i also tried to recover a working version of my rom and still boot loop to recovery.
plus when i power it off and connect the power cord it startup automaticaly to recovery.

I think The onlyest way is to flash a Stockrom to your Tab.
Then try to flash a Recovery to your Tab again, but i prefere CWM or Philz Touch not TWRP.
maybe i should install philz on top of twrp and then restore old backup?
i dont think i can get the orignal frimware form samsung in my country.

The prob is, only with CWM or Philz you restore Backups froh there, is The backup froh TWRP you need TWRP as Recovery.
Download from sam The Version what is in The box .
well i found the orginal rom in .img file at samfirmware. i belive its pure stock - i know that someone of you can confrim this - but how to i flash it?
i belive is with odin buth as for the instracion. is it like flashin recovery with odin? if so i will follow that instracation and give it a go.
I have the same problem, did anybody figure this out?
ended up just reflashing the stock rom from odin instead of twrp and it worked.
Fix

So I've done this before, attempting to install a different type of ROM, the only way to repair this is to return to stock via Odin. Download the stock rom in the 10.1 dev thread, reboot into download, and flash via Odin.

I317M not booting OS, just boots up to recovery

I'm on the latest TWRP (2.8.7.0) and after flashing a custom rom, no matter what it is (Bliss, DN4, CyanideL), it always boots up to recovery (TWRP or stock. Haven't tried CWM). The only way I found to fix it on Bliss is to use CF-Auto Root via Odin and it boots up normally for some reason. But if I try to update that ROM, it has the issue again. DN4 doesn't boot at all no matter what I try.
Any idea how to fix this? I'm on I317M

Didn't see you try to downgrade the recovery to the last one? Might help fix your problem...
Or you can try using Odin back to stock. And start over with everything fresh.
Now Dn4 not booting, only means you need to flash Agni kernel afterwards. Get it here>Agni kernel downloads.
Good luck.
I had the same problem. TWRP 2.8.5 is the last version that doesn't have this problem on the i317m.
Just wanted to say thanks to @phzi . Same problem, downgraded to TWRP 2.8.5 fixed issue.

Reboot to bootloader and flash stock recovery
Yep and if it works flash blu-spark twrp it should be fine.
Yeah, I went through a lot of steps, but basically install stock recovery v2 and let it restart. Once it succeeds or fails, it will go back to normal, and you can flash whichever recovery/rom combination you prefer. I don't have the official url, but this one seems legit:

You messed up! Everyone knows that before flashing ota you should be on OnePlus recovery now you can sideload oos or flash through twrp.

which twrp version are you using? also do you have encryption issues in twrp? you might not need to reflash the rom butmay be reset the phone and install updated twrp. there are couple of threads. i myself saw this issue on my device
I faced the same issue. Just flash the stock recovery and boot the phone. The update will fail and you'll be back on.
You can flash newest BluSpark TWRP and the the 4.0.2 Full ZIP, then it should work
This is the solution that worked for me

I had the same issue, flash the stock recovery 2.0 on the phone (the one that takes 64Mb) and then boot the phone. As mentioned it'll fail but then you get out of the loop and can flash whichever recovery and rom you feel like. And thanks for the people that mirrored the recovery while it was not on the official page, and to the people that suggested this, it was a pain to fix the first time.

Had this issue before, just look on your internal memory, there is a folder called ".OTAsomething", in there the OTA zip is stored, delete it and the phone will boot to Oxygen OS again.
