Unboxing
The package comes with some accessories:, 1x User Manual, 1x Cleaning Cloth, 1x Warranty Card, 1x Adapter for Games and the VR Headset. (of course)
The Build Quality is discrete, it is completely made of Plastic, but the quality doesn't seem to be superb, i think something that makes it looking a bit too much "cheap" is the glossy surface (it looks like a toy). Luckily though, it is solid enough.
On the front side there is the slot where the smartphone can be placed, with two separate mount points that can be easily moved based on the size of the smartphone itself. Mine, a LeEco Le 2 with a TPU Cover, is able to fit perfect, but at its maximum extension.
On the left side there is the magnetic trigger used to control VR apps if you don't have an external BT Joystick.
As regards the band, it is made of the classic elastic fabric that is pretty comfortable, and the part that goes in contact with the face is pretty soft and doesn't hurt if used for a long time.
On the upper side it is possible to move the lens by using the dedicated
Image Quality
Unlike my previous VR headset, this one features a pair of lens that can be replaced easily in case of damage, or just to clean them. The quality is good, i think that maximum you can get from this type of universal headsets, and it is possible to increase/decrease the distance between the lens and the eye.
Thankfully this headset also provides a QR Code so it can be easily configured without having to struggle too much with configs or such.
Conclusions
Unlike some random chinese VR Headset (called VR Box nowadays), this version is pretty unique with a decent price-quality ratio and an overall good VR experience.
Something that you should consider is the device you are going to use in the Headset. My LeEco Le 2, with a FHD IPS screen, provides a pretty solid experience but some pixels are noticeable due to the pixel density, so if you want to immerse yourself in a pure VR experience, you will need a smartphone with a 2K screen, such as a LeEco Le Max 2 or many others.
Recommended, but do not ignore the note written above.
Pros:
- Light
- Pretty Comfortable
- High-Quality and Replaceable Lens
Cons:
- Feels Cheap
- Limited Compatibility (phablet users beware)

Very decorative interior design and the overall exterior design is easy on the eyes.
Back design is composed of a hard plastic [white area] and rubber [grey area] side grips.
A close-up of the CASE-MATE logo shows that its a very subtle logo for those who don't hate manufacturers SHOVING THEIR LOGOS IN YOUR FACE LIKE THIS.

The layovers extend outward for the PWR and VOL buttons and are excellent to the touch, they provide perfect tactile feedback with a super addictive clicky response.
Though I did wish the VOL buttons were separated into UP and DOWN buttons individually.

A deep cutout for the camera so you won't have to worry about scratching any part of that.
This revision has the top hole cutout for the noise-cancellation mic (the previous revision did not have this hole).
The slot for the speaker is cut perfectly and deep as well.
You can see cutouts for the microUSB slot, bottom mic and headphones. Now the headphones that i tried had jacks that were a bit on the thinner side (sennheiser, sony, apple) and they fit just fine, but it MIGHT have trouble fitting headphones with HUGE jacks.
As you can see my microUSB cable(GSM stock from google play store) fits perfectly, with room to spare. (the previous revision had trouble fitting in a majority of different sized microUSB cables).
I also tried my nexus 7 microUSB cable, different motorola microUSB cables as well as a variety of generic microUSB cables i had lying around; they all fit easily.
And lastly, hopefully you can notice that the case provides a rather decent sized lip around the front of the case that allows you to have the phone facing downward without worrying about scratches.
Summary / TL;DR
Adds quite the bulk and girth to the phone.
I personally wish I was able to find a fixed revision in a black/grey colorway.
The Grey side grips are a very smooth rubbery material that provides rather decent grip on the device.
The price is a bit high, but it's not bad considering the quality imo.
Even though the amazon link says it is for the verizon [toro] and sprint [toro plus] versions, it fits my gsm [maguro] pretty damn near perfectly, so don't worry!
Feel free to ask me any questions I didn't answer :good:.
Great review. I love the detailed pics. Thanks for sharing.

I bought this case earlier in the year after my otterbox defender case broke. I really like the looks, and the bulk is not to bad. But its definitely not for those who like slim cases.

This is a review of Joby GripTight mount with micro-stand and GorillaPod stand options. http://joby.com/smartphones/griptight-micro-stand/ and http://joby.com/smartphones/griptight-gorillapod-stand
Just recently I reviewed Joby MPod Mini stand which can hold any smartphone up to 86mm in width and 12mm in thickness (that's including a case). I was excited about that unique portable stand because it was the only one able to accommodate my Note 2 from Joby line of grips. Luckily for S4 users, or any other user with a smaller phone and a display of up to 5", you have a lot more choices including a pretty cool GripTight with options for multiple stands. For the reference, my MPod Mini stand detailed review is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2440169 , while I will review GripTight below for benefit of S4 users
The GripTight mount itself is a very portable spring loaded mount that expands and can accept a phone with or without a case anywhere between 54-72mm in width. The grip sides of the mount are collapsible which folds into a 77mm x 27mm footprint, the size of an average key. As a matter of fact, it even has a small hole to put it on key chain. The design, material, and the whole built is top notch. You can drop it or step on it or maybe even run over with a car - and it still will be intact. The grips have a quality rubber lining so you don't have to worry about scratching your phone or a case. And the most important - it has a universal mounting screw to attach to any camera tripod stand.
But since you are dealing with Joby, you don't have to worry about tripod stand because you have an option of their famous GorillaPod stand or Micro-stand. You can get a combo of GripTight with either GorillaPod or portable micro-stand for about $20 plus change on Amazon which I find to be truly an amazing value. GorillaPod, for those who are not familiar with this funky mount, is an assembly of round joints that you can bend and rotate anyway you like it to mold and shape the tripod stand or to wrap it around a pole or other objects. The joint connection is easy to bend while still maintaining a tight joint connection. The option of GorillaPod will have a top mount with universal screw on a removable plate docked into the top joint (with a lock to prevent it from sliding). The truly universal nature of this stand makes it flexible to use with any regular camera or included GripTight mount. Another option is a micro-stand. That one is very unique in a way how it folds and aligns with collapsed GripTight to make it look like a key-chain. This is probably the smallest looking unique design I have seen. You do have to keep in mind that micro-stand will not give you as much of height as GorillaPod stand which is intended more for picture/video taking, but for $20 plus change each - you might as well get both.
Overall, I liked everything about GripTight design, material quality, flexibility of use, and the value for the price. As I mentioned before, S4 users are lucky enough to have multiple options when it comes to different Joby products where you can choose GripTight or funky jaws of MPod. In summary, I highly recommend these stands!

This is a review of Bidenuo G800 in-ear headphone with Android controls. http://dx.com/p/bidenuo-g800-in-ear...-silver-3-5mm-126cm-cable-254398#.Uyzy6rCPL3h
I'm very pleased to see that more and more companies are starting to recognize importance of fully integrated in-line remote dedicated specifically to Android smartphones. Though multi-function control even with iPhone dedicated remote usually works with Android, volume buttons don't. With this particular model of Bidenuo headphones, I was intrigued since it had "for android" indicator on the box. Plus, it looked really cool Here is what I found.
I have reviewed a number of Bidenuo headphones from dx.com in the past, and those always arrived in a nice looking package. Out of the box, I was very impressed with a level of design details and included accessories. First of all, it comes with a neat looking hard shell storage case, oval in shape instead of a typical round. Also, included was a shirt clip and a set of hybrid eartips, much better quality than a typical silicone eartips. Headphones had a flat textured rubbery cable which appeared to be tangle-free. From a distance, the cable kind of looks like a shoelace, actually very original design. 3.5mm headphone connector was straight and gold plated, and also had a decent strain relief. At the other end, you have a similar strain relief connecting cable to earphones inside of a lightweight metal housing. Now, here is something where I have love-hate comment. The diamond cut of these earphones look cool, but it can "rub" you the wrong way depending on the size of your ears. In theory, once you put it in your ear, it should stay there without moving. But if you don't have a good fitment and earbud is moving, that diamond cut finish will not feel as pleasant rubbing against you ear. I personally didn't have a problem with it, but others might do.
Labeled as "for Android", I was able to confirm it's remote working perfectly with my Note 2 where multi-function button single click performed Play/Pause/Call, double-click to Skip Next, triple-click to Skip Back, and long-press to start Google NOW. Also, Volume up/down buttons worked perfectly, which I would expect for HTC, LG, and Sony phones as well. Call sound quality was good. Regarding audio playback, don't expect high audiophile quality for something that cost $17 plus change. But for that price, it sounded pretty good. Bass was punchy (not deep and boomy), mids/treble were clear. For general audio listening and phone control these will do the job fine!
Overall, Bidenuo G800 was a nice set of in-ear headphones with a confirmed full Android controls. For that price, the sound was not bad at all, and they also had a decent build quality. My only concern was with diamond cut exterior finish which might not suite everybody, depending on your ear size and headphone fitment. But in general, they look pretty cool and represent a good value considering included premium hybrid eartips and a protective case.

Unboxing
The Headphones are packaged into a stylish and compact rigid pouch, with some basic accessories: 1x Micro-USB Cable, 3x Earphone Sizes, 1x User Manual, and the Earphones (of course).
As regards the Build Quality, the cable is a flat-type with a rubberized surface (something i do not like so much), but it is pretty solid and each Earphone has a big Plastic Chassis, rubberized too.
The size of each Earphone is pretty noticeable, not so compact, but this is helpful for low frequencies.
A weight of just 14g is decent, enough for a comfortable wearing.
On the back, there is a Metal Surface, with a Magnet Hidden below.
Thanks to the extra ear support, these earphones won't be able to drop even while running.
The Controller is great, with Volume +/- Buttons together with the Power Button in the center. Also, you can notice two holes, that's for noise suppression. Two Microphones should be here. ( based on: http://www.csr.com/products/csr8645 )
Sound Quality
As regards the sound quality, as i always say i am not an audiophile so i can't provide you some professional audio tests, but based on my power-user experience, compared to my Headphones, the sound quality is great. I might have preferred a more crisp sound, but they sound just good enough for me.
The Volume is high too, and low frequencies (aka Bass, even though this isn't the correct definition) are here. The sound is similar to the Piston 3.
As regards the built-in Microphone, it seems to work just fine, and the noise suppression seems to work pretty well. Nothing to complain about.
Sound Insulation isn't perfect though, i think this is caused by the big earphone chassis introducing external sounds inside.
Controls and Connectivity
I was able to pair the headphones with my device in just one step (using BT), and after being connected i didn't experienced any issue as regards stability or such. There is APT-X support here for high-definition BT Audio.
As regards the controls area, there are just three buttons here, but they are multi-functional. The Power Button works also as an Answering Button and as a Music Control for Play/Pause, and the Volume Buttons are used to control the volume (of course), to Reject/Mute a Call and as a Music Control for Next/Previous song.
Conclusions
Considering the price target of this earphones i am impressed, especially as regards the build quality. I like the colors, i like the premium look and i am also fine with the sound quality. Also, Dodocool advertises 8 hours of Playback Time, and here it lasted more or less 9 hours at medium volume.
Summarizing all, i can definitely recommend this accessory.
For those wondering, this is the Official CSR8645 (built-in chipset) Specs List.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- Balanced Sound Quality
- Solid
- Interesting Battery Life
- Acceptable Price
Cons:
- Sound Insulation could have been better

Unboxing
The product is packaged into a little hard case, enough to contain some various accessories such as 2x Lens Holder, 1x Pouch, 1x User Manual and the two Lens with a cover for each one.
Build Quality is superb, with a full-metal body for each lens, unfortunately painted in gold (not a fan of this color). Each lens feels super solid and well polished.
As regards the Wide Angle/Macro lens, it is a 2-in-1 variant, meaning that the same lens do both things. It is possible to switch from Wide to Macro just by removing the biggest part.
Each lens holder is made of plastic with a rubbery part for the other end, and it keeps the lens tight enough while keeping enough flex.
The part that goes on the smartphone's camera, basically the main lens, features a circled sealing that allows to insulate properly the contact.
Photos Quality
All tests have been made using my Redmi Note 4 Global, and it seems that this device doesn't like any third-party lens, probably because its lens is already too much wide.
Starting from the Wide lens, the result is decent. Compared to the same photo shot without the lens, it isn't noticeable any color distortion or anything else that could be impacting the main lens quality, but it is possible to notice, all over the corners, the golden metal part of the lens.
The Macro lens is just perfect though, with awesome quality and huge improvements when it comes to taking precision photos. Definitely the most useful lens.
As expected, the Fish Eye lens is working even worse on my device, with an huge black border all over the corners and a consequent loss of quality of the image due to lens flare. They should have made this lens more slim to avoid this kind of issues.
Conclusions
It is easy to notice that this isn't a product working for all devices, there are some serious compatibility issues that, in my opinion, must be fixed in a future revision of the product, but this doesn't mean that it is a bad product.
The quality is excellent for both lens and chassis of each one, and the macro lens is compatible with all devices. Luckily the one i was more interested to, the macro lens, works fine so i am not 100% disappointed, but, for all others who need to use also the Wide and/or Fish Eye lens, please make sure that your smartphone's camera doesn't already feature a pretty wide lens.
Pros:
- Outstanding Build Quality
- Nice 2-in-1 design for the Wide/Macro lens
- Good set of accessories included
Cons:
- Limited compatibility
- The rubbery holder leaves marks
