A clear description of the steps that I need to take to exactly reproduce the problem.
State what flavor build you are on: CMTE, Layers, OMS, etc...
Please DO NOT complain about problems and offer nothing to help fix it. I reserve the right to ignore you for not following insructions...

For those of you who don't know me, I've been around the SGSII forums for a long time. Been a OnePlus and Hammerhead owner for over a year, but never built for the latter... until now.

Layers is included by default. The G+ screenshot I provided was using the Material Glass theme, which supports both CMTE and Layers...
Edit: Sorry that screen shot was made using Dark Mode (Night Mode) built into the ROM.

Not yet that I am aware of. Features are being brought up fairly quickly though, so maybe soon.

I have not changed my rom for a year and since my N5 isnt my daily driver it hasnt had enough attention of late so lets give this rom a try, it appears to tick all the boxes for what i need, DPI scalability is a must and the rest is a bonus.

Facing this bug in SIM cards setting. I tried to remove one sim but still I was not able to change the SIM preferences.

Yes, We can not disable SIM [this bug is present in all mm build including CM or AOSP based].. but in this I even can not able to get access point settings . I hope this will fix in next build.

This is AOSP based ROM and Candy team doesn't support MSIM. So I think we'll have to live with it

smooth rom, this is my daily driver rom for me..

yes, now on tap works for me if i use navbar on screen, but it doesn't when i use capacitive button

With the new slim launcher, i forget Nova. I like K9mail, good idea to port it.
I jus miss Something : Any way to disable "wake screen on pick up" ?? usually i use only "wake on wave hand " because i figure "wake on pick up" wake up the screen too much and suck battery.

I was having same problem with an other rom, so i have exported action app, flash the zip below in TWRP (it's just the action APK), it will add Action app in your drawer with all gestures

Sorry the noob question but what's the difference betweeen that rom, XenonHD and Xops?

CMActions is already included.
If you want, you can disable Display ambient (Settings >> Display >> Display ambient), in this way the screen won't turn off if you move the phone.

I made a clean flash, installed and configured all the applications and I used it for three days (all on battery) and I got 4 hours of screen:
so the battery life is enough for me. Check your setup.

does it have DUI navbar? and which version is this based upon, i.e, 7.1.2 r_(?) ?

Camera force closes. No fix even after caches wipe (ART too).
Sometimes fingerprint fails to register.
Also the prebuilt magisk is unable to grant su access to apps and says root isn't enabled.
Deleting the com.motorola.*****.jar files from /system/framework/ and rebooting doesn't fix for the camera.
Meanwhile the logcat and dmesg attached.
No modification except Google Apps aroma (list attached).

Flashing Steps:
Coming from another ROM??
1) Download Latest Build (See Post #2)
2) Download 7.1.2 Gapps
3) Boot into recovery (TWRP)
4) Full wipe (Dalvik Cache, Cache, System, Factory Data Reset)
5) Flash the zip
6) Flash Gapps
7) Reboot
Updating from previous Vertex release
1) Download the latest build
2) Boot into recovery
3) Flash
4) Reboot.
Bugs REPORT
No support will be given for problems caused by Xposed, MicroGMS, other kernels, Substratum themes, different TWRP, different firmware, other tweaks (build.prop, etc).
Logcat required. You may use Matlog, Syslog, or ADB through a computer.
Share via https://hastebin.com (or equivalents).
Clear description of the error.
Does it happen on clean flash?
Did you try to reproduce the error without Substratum themes enabled?

"* Disable SIM toggle"... is it really implemented (and working normally) in this rom? Up till now this was a problem AFAIK? If it's inside: also for dual sim devices?

FYI: it's a no

For some reason I feel that this rom is not as stable as others. So I'm discontinuing this ROM as of now.
