Hi! I was planning on getting this. But I was wondering how is it's audio quality? I understand this is a mid-range phone, and it's not on the same level like Hi-Res phones on major flagship devices. But I've tried Asus Zenfone Selfie, though a phone geared towards photography, but I found it to have an awesome sound output thru headsets. It also has an Audio Wizard that you can finely tune like the Bass, Treble, Environment etc...
So it would be great if you can give me a feedback on this.

Hello guys,
Yesterday my Nokia 7 Plus arrived and i am overall pretty happy with it. However i am a bit disappointed that there is no 60FPS video recording and no way to unlock the bootloader yet.
Now i am thinking about switching to the One Plus 5T, but because video recording at concerts is a big point for me and my last phone, the one plus 3 had a really bad quality, i am wondering how the 5T is performing?
Yesterday i received a testvideo from a OnePlus 5 user and i must say i am not pretty happy with that kind of quality:

When the bass kicks in, mostly every other part of the song is not recognizable. Does the OnePlus 5 uses the same microphones as the 5T?
What's your opinions switching from the Nokia 7 Plus to the 5T?
Thank you in advance
nobody?
Well for me the bass definitely is clipping at concerts. Nothing you can do but using a low cut. The bass at concerts is too loud anyway but I have to say that the iPhone makes better videos and has a higher audio quality at concerts.

Yeah, the bass at most concerts is too loud, but i heard a lot of devices (huawei, samsung, iphone) which had no problem recording in heavy bass environments.
Made a testvideo yesterday with my Nokia 7 Plus and i must say the audio quality is the best i've ever heard from a phone so far.
I am wondering if the active noise cancellation of the 5T destroys the sound quality, because the one plus 3 had the same issue.
One of the reasons I choose the G7 was because of SQ, and in no small parth Bluetooth as my Huawei P9 Plus has very weak Bluetooth both features and strength. I love my wired phones, and I love the Quad DAC, but not on the go. I hate wires, they always gets in the way and are best for stationary listening.
I experienced a big improvement already with my old Bluetooth cans, the Urbanears Plattan ADV, as I used to have dropouts wich now was gone. And the inclusion of DST:X in the G7 does wonders for listening with cans, the Plattan ADV sounds really good with the G7 but it's far from High-Res sound but more of a kick ass rock and roll sound.
But, I wanted to be able to listen to more delicate music wireless too. After some market research I ended up with the Sony WH-H900N cans. They are sort of a budget version of the Sony WH-1000XM3 which sits on the top of the BT-sound food chain.
Featurewise they are close, Google Assistant, Noise cancelling, AptX HD and LDAC support, Sony proprietary DSEE HX-upsampling, dedicated app etc. What is cheaper is the noise cancelling which isn't nearly as capable, and even more plastic of course, thankfully Sony hasn't been as cheap on SQ which is reported to be about on par with their much more expensive big brother.
Anyway, after some struggling finding I needed to change the SQ setting under Bluetooth-devices I was able to activate LDAC. And yes, it sounds very good indeed, it made the sound noticeably more smooth and less sibilance compared to AAC which was sort of default with my setup. I tried it with streaming FLAC from my music server and got away very impressed, the SQ these cans can produce are not at all inferior to a wired connection and the Quad DAC. It sounds damned good.
Still, DTS:X is of much use, it can really enhance the soundfield of any can. The Sony cans sounds much better with DST:X activated than without, so I will continue using it.
The LG G7 is sort of the ultimate sound machine, both wired and wireless, exactly what I wanted from my phone.
Lastly, even if Sonys has gone cheap on the noise cancelling with these one step down cans, I was equally impressed today when I was driving my car and it didn't seem to have neither a motor nor tyres
Just bought the Sony wh-1000xm3 silver color. ??? Amazed by LG and Sony once again.
Ultimate machine indeed. Also bought hifi mqa quality Tidal subscription. Also bought USB player pro also the mqa plugin, although it wasn't necessary, but to be there. Ultimate machine! ?
I got the Radstone Es100 which does LDAC and my G7 talks to it at the higest quality and sounds freakin amazing.
NICE
I'm searching for a sub 1k in ear headphone, which has a balanced audio quality. The bass should be punchy but not overpowering and I particularly dislike shrill treble rather than high bass. I mostly listen to EDM, podcasts and Indian music. I want to get something that is comfortable for long time usage and does not give a headache and has a build quality that will last atleast a couple of years with normal use. Kindly give me any suggestions related to the earphones you have personally used and recommend.
My previous earphone:
ASUS ZenEar - wonderful balanced sound, punchy bass, clear treble, but mids are a bit diminished. Has mic that works really well. Left earphone stopped working after 2 years 1 month.
Denon AHC-260 - wonderful mids and listening to vocals is really amazing. But, underpowering bass and rattling treble is a problem. No mic. Inferior build quality and lasted 6 months.
Try the 1More Piston Fit. It's priced at 999Rs, but you can get it for 749 or 799 from Amazon when it's on sale. I have the space grey colored one and the ear phones are really good.
Even Xiaomi basic (Rs. 399/-) sounds nice, without any special equaliser setting. My friend owns the HD one (Rs. 1999/-), 3rd yr classical vocal he says there's little difference if any. Main difference is build quality. You can go for the 699 one.
Hi All,
I just wanted to know the general consensus of people on the speaker quality during music playback. For starters, the volume output is definitely high and the vocals are crisp and clear! But I feel it lacks the bass punch and somehow the low-frequency notes do not really come out.
Also, what mode of setting have you kept you "Dolby Atmos" setting to, mine is in "Music" preset. I guess this setting also applies to speaker output doesn't it? But, I haven't observed any significant difference between any of those modes/preset , is it only me or you all think it's the same?
Is there any way we can make the speaker quality better than the current factory tuning? Let me know your feedback folks!
So coming from the LG V series, I noticed that I just really missed my audio quality. Whether taking the train to get to work, or just listening at home.
I also see audio being neglected on the ROG phone fourms. Maybe due to this device not selling all that well. Just look around...no real community.
For anyone interested, I pulled the trigger and got the latest flagship from FIIO. The Q5s TC. Is it worth 350? Eh, depends. The sound is definitely clean. The IFI Xdsd is discontinued. The Xdsd would be the preferred choice. That's not to say the Q5s TC is bad. Is still portable in the pocket. ( If you don't wear lame skinny jeans)
No hiss on sensitive IEM's. The base punches and slams. Good on the lows, mid and highs. The gain from low to high is very noticeable and not recommend. The base boost SUCKS! IFI seems to be the only company that know how to do it.
Fiio just makes the mids muddy.
