I was curious about something though. Can I use your kernels on any fw? Or is it only for 229.

Go to the official website and there you can see the requirements:
stock 7.1.1
45.0.A.5.1, 45.0.A.5.8 -> v01 -
....
Works fine on 229 .
Just updating, flashed the newest firmware and instantly flashed this and it works so flawlessly.
You're great @AndroPlus Maybe I should buy you a coffe haha .
Although I must ask about this "You can only save photos if you switch to manual mode and set ISO to 50, 100, or 200. "
I tried that but it still output green images.
it work on 45.0.A.5.8 and 45.0.A.2.244,but the system camera not good working, only the GoogleCamera http://www.coolapk.com/apk/com.google.android.GoogleCamera
1.229 1.244 half OK half is bad

Has nothing to do with his kernel, it's because you unlocked the bootloader and there's no drm fix right now.

Works perfectly! Thank you so much!
umm... I built TWRP and it does boot, but it only shows SONY logo and reboots after some time:crying:
Does anyone know workaround/config for displaying in TWRP?
I tried
RECOVERY_GRAPHICS_FORCE_SINGLE_BUFFER
RECOVERY_GRAPHICS_FORCE_USE_LINELENGTH
TW_SCREEN_BLANK_ON_BOOT
TW_FBIOPAN
TARGET_RECOVERY_PIXEL_FORMAT := "RGBX_8888"
TARGET_RECOVERY_PIXEL_FORMAT := "RGBA_8888"
but none worked.

Yeah, can you update it to 368 firmware, 5.0.2 firmware is low performance because of memory reload issue. I dont wanna use 5.0.2 anymore after install 368 update lol.

Amazing work, always wanted DT2W with deep sleep.
Would be epic if you could make an AOSP version...
It would be great if you can (and should) release the source code
can u maybe release this kernel for xzu 5.1.1 i would be so happy :=) cause a great kernel with dt2w is hard to find cause it is same firmware version , on z1 c , z1 and z ultra cheers @Red-code

Red code. Can you add a sound category in your kernel, and other functions like venkat kamesh's kernel? I want to change that kernel because I have some battery drains, and I want to create a rom with some tricks (when I have time) but the kernel of venkat seems to be buggy... With 5.1.1 and your kernel with all functions I hope that I'll
have a good rom.

main and requested features will be added if v0.4 worked fine

C'mon man, none of this here... He's doing all this for free, so he is definitely not obligated to "serve" you, not should you be giving him "service stars". Porting a kernel is not easy, especially if you don't own the device. If he didn't reply, he's probably busy, or he didn't want to, none of which are a reason to complain like this.
EDIT: You're probably better off asking one of your device developers to port this kernel from the source code, rather than asking the dev, who probably doesn't own the device

Hi, could you add support for korean variants of S7? (G930K,S,L)
When I try to build from G930F kernel sources with defconfig modified for my device, random reboots occur when connected to USB, which drives me crazy.

This will prevent people from going blind early. Now there's no forced max screen brightness.
Oreo version based on 9.30.1017320, Variant: 870031230
Nougat version based on 9.20.974075
Prerequisites:
- HTC U11
Two versions below, one for magisk if you use it and the other just the regular one (not confirmed working).
If you wanna do it manually just push Camera2.apk in the zip to /system/priv-app/Camera2/
Downloads:
https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=263093&sort_by=name&sort_dir=DESC
Installation instructions:
1. Download either magisk or normal version
2. Flash in TWRP
3. If it still goes to max screen brightness, go to play store and uninstall updates for the HTC Camera app
tomascus said:

Currently based off app version 9.20.954228
Prerequisites:
- Any Deodexed ROM ? (otherwise the oat file probably needs to be deleted)
