After like 4 hours of charging my phone show red led apear and disapear evry 20 second.
Today in the morning i can see a red led that still apear all the charging time and nothing happen.
From 2 minuits suddenly i saw that my phone turned on and show the first logo "Free Xperia" and after 5 second getted dead again and the same , only red led.

edit: and its full charged because it was on wall charger while i slept :/
edit: SOLVED

The reason why i don't want to do it because if i did it my phone will be cheaper because it will called "Fixed Phone".
Now i got the first logo again while it's connected to the PC , i tried to press VOL- but flashtool didn't detect it and came dead again.
Maybe the next time i can get into recovery , but what can i do?

if its not working now is cheaper. but you have to tell nobody that you disassembled it to fix ur phone.
but if you have time try this one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31618617&postcount=32
Thats what i am trying to do.
Now i get my phone on again , and i got into recovery and reboot it to fastboot , flashed stock kernel.sin.
Then i turned it on and it show sony logo then i did 3 vibrates to get it off to flash a stock rom but dead again.
Now i am thinking how to get to flashmode?

All what i can get ofter connecting to PC for a long time is the device start up and show Sony logo then the logo disapear and reboot then do it again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again then stop booting and got dead.
Edit 1: When it show Sony logo i tried to press VOL+ and connect the usb but no fastboot , the same with flash mode.
Edit 2: When it start rebooting wave again i tried to press VOL+ and - then it got stuck with black screen , Flashtool can detect it in USB debigging off mode and it can't be turned off with the 3 vibrates trick.
Edit 3: By removing the sim card the phone turned off. Now back to the first stage with only red led and after long time connecting to PC it show Sony logo then reboot.

I think: you should turn off but when it trying turning off it goes brick, get stuck... i dont know you have to turn off manual ( with disassemble) and connenct usb and vol up because now it cannot be in fastboot or flash mode. or you should leave it to full discharge than it will turn off but it may take several weeks.

No problem , thank you for trying help.
Charging for 10 hours , only red led.
while on a loop, press the volume down button and connect it to the PC. If it doesn't work, press power+vol up till it vibrates once keeping the vol down button pressed as well. if it goes into flashmode, forget everything and flash stock ftf.
on a red led situation, hold the vol down and connect it to PC. It will show no led but keep holding it for long, it will go into flashmode

I tried that to make it restart with one vibrate but no flashmode , i will try it again with holding the VOL- before i do the vibrate.
For the led when i connect it to the PC holding VOL- the red led apear , why?
**** **** **** **** **** **** me , whn it start the rebooting i pressed the VOL+ and = and the power bottom and it start to connect and dis connect again on MTP debugging off mode and after a while i got the green led and flash mode but the ftf waz compressed and while it's extracting the green led gone....
Fixed!!!!
This is small guide what to do:
1- Charge your phone with PC or wall charger until you get a stable red led (Stable led not flashing led) maybe that will take hours.
2- Now connect your phone to the PC , you will find the red led back again.
3- The idea now is that your phone will auto start after some time , you need to be holding the VOL- bottom before it start up that you can get a green led and you can flash the rom with flashtool.
Some times it got start up after like 4 minuits after you connect it to PC , and other times maybe it will take like 20 minuits to start. So you have to hold the VOL- bottom almost the time and there is no problem if you let the bottom for some seconds , but be carefull that it will suddenly boot up so you have to be holding the bottom.
If you success with rom flashing , connect your phone to the charger and wait until it will start first time and get dead , then start again normaly
Charge ur phone with wall charger (its faster than pc) until u get green led. After that, hold Vol - and connect the phone to pc.
Hello!
Few weeks ago me and my friend tried to change software in Sony Xperia S. We read and followed steps listed on this site: ww.android.gs/update-xperia-s-android-4-4-2-kitkat-os-with-pure-aosp-custom-rom-firmware
We rooted the phone and went to next step when it turned out that I can't even turn on my phone. I pressed power and volume down button and still nothing happened. There was only green light on for few seconds and then the phone was dead again.
Please, help because I'm just NOOB and I don't know what to do.
Thanks in advance,
Pawel
Hello,
Ill tell you a short story how I got this phone bricked.
So i got a OTA update to 6.0.1 (as I remember) and the phone started acting crazy. "system UI stopped working" message showed up once an hour and after that phone reboots. I got tired of my phone rebooting all the time so Ive decided to root it and install a custom ROM. Ive successfully rooted it, instelled TWRP and flashed a HTC M8 google play eddition rom on my phone. Everything was smooth except that it didnt recognize the SIM card and (again) it kept rebooting once an hour out of nowhere (this time the restart was immediate. No "system UI has stopped" message appeared). So i flashed another rom.. (silly me). I flashed a M8 HD Revolution rom because it was the most popular one and I thought it will fix all my problems. I flashed it successfully, the phone booted, it started optimizing apps and then shut down. I tried to turn it on again, it started optimizing apps again and after it finished optimizing ir shut down again. And that was the last time I saw my phone atleast trying to boot.
After all that I tried all the button combinations (vol up + power, vol down + power, vol up + vol down + power), Ive red alot and tried the same combinations with different timing. IT WONT BOOT INTO BOOTLOADER. adb and fastboot commands does not work also. When I connect my phone to a pc i was able to hear a windows connection sound, after 5-10 secs i hear a disconnect sound, after 5 secs it connects again, and disconects again ang again and again.... I managed to screen shot my device manager screen and saw Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 in the device list appearing and disappearing every 10 secs. I googled it and found some info that I might have hard bricked my htc. I didnt have much time at that moment to dive into the ocean of information and decided to leave my phone connected to a charger overnight. NOW my phone is dead (100%). No flashing lights, no *connected/disconnected to a pc* sound, the screen is black, it wont turn on - no signs of life..
Is there anything that I can do? (the warranty is voided)
Could it be that the battery was damaged and it was the issue of my phone restarting all the time?
Any help will be much appreciated
*dont mind my english*
Are you s-on or off? Its very hard to brick this device flashing ROMs with s-on.
Try leaving the phone on charger for a few hours, then hold power+vol up for a minute or so. Most folks don't realize you have to hold the buttons for so long in this "no boot" condition, and start to freak out. I've done it myself!

Ive tried your technique, few times actully. Phone does not want to show any indication of life. I might have flashed the rom on low battery I just found out that the cable I was using to flash roms ir damaged and does not function properly. Now Im using a new power cable to charge the device but still, no signs of life.
Thank you very much for helping

I left my phone to charge overnight and the LED light came on (Its a really good sign). At first it was flashing orange, later it was only orange and now its green, so that means that my battery was fully drained. However, I tried holdin power + vol up for atleast 3-4 minutes but nothing happened except that the LED light is not greeen nor orange anymore. If I connect my phone to a pc, in the device manager "Qualcomm HS-usb qdloader 9008" shows up for 20-30 seconds and dissapears, after few secs it reappears again and so on. I was looking for a solution for a few hours and I think I found a decent tutorial how to unbrick it but Im not able to find neccesary firmware for my phone because I dont know my CID (link: http://www.droidsavvy.com/unbrick-qualcomm-mobiles/). Any other ideas?
BTW, thank you very much for trying to help
I've never seen these "unbricking" guides work on this device. If you can't get to at least bootloader, you are probably looking at JTAG, new motherboard, or new phone.
Really, your best bet is to keep playing with the button combos with the charger attached and unattached.
My phone is not booting up
I was flashing a ROM and i rebooted it didn't start
I press the power button ... LED blinks and phone vibrates ...but still phone doesn't boots up
The device is getting a little warm even when there is nothing on screen
Somebody pls help
Looks like your device is bricked.
You have to flash stock firmware using qfil or mi flash.(you can check that on Google)
