Hi,
It seems almost impossible to continue what I'm doing when I get a call in my HTC 10.
The call UI completely blocks the screen. I have just options to answer or decline.
Is there a way that the call appears Popping-up. I have seen this in other as Samsung and OnePlus too.
Please suggest.

Heads up notifications for incoming calls is a feature that is in the Viper10 ROM. You can find it there in Venom Tweaks.
Thank you for the reply but I was wondering if I could do it in HTC stock and rooted or maybe add the lines in the system database xml or somewhere else.

So, my situation is unique? No one else has had this issue?
It's not an sms message.. it's just a pop up... and its dependent on what rom you are using really on how you turn on and off your notifications. If you are running a custom rom like Energy or something go to their thread and ask how to disable the particular notification.
usually its settings\sounds and notifications\ then go to the notifications tab and in there you can change what your phone does for different events.

You want to turn off the "missed call" icon on the task bar? I don't recall anyone requesting this before...

No, he wants to turn of the message that comes in with details about the missed call (date/time).
The missed call notification was off. Actually, it shows as a SMS message with the phone number that called or the call that I made. It definitely seems like a ROM issue - just flashed to Jackos' (so far perfect IMO) ROM & haven't had that issue at all. Thanks - I think I've found the solution.

This is the issue I would like to resolve with your help:
I have the new DHD and I love it, I am also pretty satisfied with the Sense UI, but there is just one thing that is annoying as hell:
The lock screen shows missed calls with names of the callers, and it also shows new sms previews. It does that even when the phone is PIN-locked. The only way to disable the sms preview is to disable the sms notifications, which I don't want to do. One workaround I found was installing handcent or chomp sms, but that doesn't solve the displaying of the missed call(er)s on lock screen.
This issue is present in the stock, as well as the LeeDroid.
I'm all out of ideas. Anyone? Please give me a hand. Thank you.

Every time I don't answer a call (have a missed call) right after the call ends, the phone starts playing a notification (annoying one for that manner).
I assume that it"s alerting me about a missed call. supposably this should be a no brainier, and the option to disable it is supposed to be somewhere in the settings. But I can't find that setting. and the notification is driving me crazy.
Does anybody have any idea how to turn it off?????

well if your phone is rooted and have xposed framework install you can install the g3tweaksbox... from this thread...

the only way to disable those sound notifications without root etc is to put phone on vibrate or silent... the g3tweaksbox gets updated and soon will have more features (you can download the beta if you want)
I am rooted and have g3 tweak box... On its beta 1.1. But didn't see any option there to disable the iterating notification...

I guess wait till the next g3tweakbox update... it should be implemented soon...
I hope so... It's crazy LG didn't give us an option to disable it...
I use ATT M8 running ViperOne 4.6.0. I found that there is no notification when there is an incoming call. I can make outgoing calls though.
I flash back to stock rom and it works fine so I guess something wrong with the ViperOne rom.
Could anyone give my some help or hint?
By incoming notification you mean heads up ones? If so you have to go into venom tweaks and then heads up section and add the dialer and phone applications in the whitelist section

When others call me, it sounds like get connected on their side, but there is nothing shown up on my phone, until a voicemail is left.
I even disabled the headsup notifications and no help.
Hi there,
This maybe a stupid question.. but is there a way to get the stock incoming call popup that comes form the top like whatsapp that you get on various devices running stock android on htc sense instead of the full screen display on an incoming call?? Its intrusive, and most importantly it causes problems when i'm working on something and decline the call by accident just because i was going to tap on that area at that time.
