Lg g3 d855 v30n twrp - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
i want to get TWRP on my LG G3 D855 with Android 6.0 and Software-Version V30n (latest version, i do all updates when they was available).
I know that i must unlock my bootloader, but all information to do that is older that 1 or 2 years. (something like that: https://www.xda-developers.com/lg-g3-locked-bootloader-bump-xdatv/ )
Is it possible to use this guide with my Software-Version?
If i unlock the bootloader with this method, is it possible to install TWRP and root it with this guide ( https://www.getdroidtips.com/twrp-recovery-lg-g3-d855/#comment-1948 ) ?
I never done that before with any Android device, so i am a noob.
Sorry for my bad English and thank's for helping me.

You need to downgrade first to version 30j, 30f, or lower to root the phone first. Then you can flash a bumped v30n zip and use it with root like magisk or supersu
Sent from my LG-G3

And what is a bumped .zip and where can i get those?
What does this .zip do if i flash it to my phone?

If you install Lollipop KDZ you can't get root, so if you want root and lollipop you should root when on kitkat and then install a bumped lollipop ROM

Gratoo
I can do the quiet downgrade.
but it is not what I want.
I downloaded the site rom lg firmware 20A version of Brazil and install on your phone, and then I'll get to do it the root, works perfect, so I want to put the TWRP it to me to use the Xposed framework ...

Lg G3 d855 rooting without kingroot

Hello, I wanted to ask if there is an option to root the device (marshmallow rom 6.0) without using "Kingroot".
Sorry for asking again in the forum (someone already asked that and didnt get an answer)
Thanks in advance.
Yes.
Downgrade to 10A ( Kitkat ) using LG UP.
Root with Stump Root
Flash TWRP with your app of choice ( DD command will also do )
Flash one of the custom roms / @autoprime 's stock 6.0 .zip

Thanks alot, I did what u said and now i have a rooted device with lollipop version.
I wanted to ask 2 more questions:
1. now, if i upgrade to marshmallow the root will "dissapear"?
2. I have problem to flash Twrp recovery. I tried autorec, flashify, and also official TWRP.
the message i get when i reboot to recovery - "Secure Booting Error! Cause: boot certification verify"
OK I solved this issue

Rooting a G3 D855 16GB

So, how do I go about rooting a G3 on 6.0? My firmware's V30o, so I know I have to downgrade, but it's not exactly clear to me how I should do that. How do I proceed after downgrading? Kernel's 3.4.0 if that matters.

Not sure as I don't have a D855 but check this post. The link there has Kingroot. If that works to give you temp root you can uses Flashify to install TWRP. If that is successful you could then flash a perm root like SuperSU or Magisk I suppose.

LG G3 D851, PAC-MAN LP ROM, MultiROM, XDA Legacy
Same phone here. No way to root...
Followed marcdw link :
- copied the 4 files on internal phone's storage.
- installed Kingroot V4.6.5, then launched... it says : No root strategy
I've tried many things to downgrade the phone to android 5 or 4, unsuccessfully.
May I'm doing mistakes, it's 1st time I'm doing this...
So if there is a perfect solution, I'll be happy to flash this phone
