if you want a stronger speaker sound as loud as he can,just download from playstore Speaker Boost (round white button with blue and red on the right side) ,open the app and slide from 0% to 29-30% but no more than 35-40 percent!! The sound will be allmost twice stronger,and the best part: it works for earphones too,im using it at max boost when i'm on earphones,the difference is unbelieveble! I hope i've helped
Camera is freezing wit flash turned on,everything else seems to work perfectly,for 6 hours only 2 glitches and the camera problem.Is there any fix for the camera?

Sorry,but I didn't get that...
Reflash which rom? I have to reflash this rom over its self or how?If you asked me to reflash the same room without wiping then BeanGapps,then YouTube Patch.... It didn't fix the problem. In previous builds of AEX ROM,the same problem occured ,but after the next build,they fixed the issue

Ok,I'll try again with wiping the system and I'll report!
Edit: tried 3 times,the first time the camera did just 1 shot with flash,the second try finished with the bug,reflashed system 3 times(bean gapps and YouTube too) it fixed just for 1 shot... Very strange. And after flashing,yesterday I've drained my battery to 0% then charged the battery to 100 percent and after I flashed again the same ROM for fixing the camera, my battery went from 98% to 56 % after rebooting.
Can somebody with the same ROM try his camera with flash on, and tell me does this problem occurs to him,because I don't think that I did something wrong , I'm flashing ROMs from 8 years and tried every single ROM for A7k,this is not the first ROM with this problem, untill now no other problems,super stabile ROM,just this minor issue with the camera flash ,if this can be fixed,you can add official tag on this ROM,great job!
the problem isn`t with the camera app,tried several different cam apps and for a while I've had no problem with CamU ,footej camera didn't work and many more,maybe something in the settings,it's the same bug as AospExtended

Of course,I know your ability,I have sent a message to Rohan ,so I'm waiting for answer from him,he knows how to fix the problem,except of this problem,for me this is the most stabile nougat ROM,that i`ve used for this device,it's just perfect,so many customizations... Only the battery percentage is missing,but there are 3rd party applications for this,great ROM,just perfect!Great job,the battery usage is very good,For my joy,even it has fewer glitches than stock ROM ,much better performance than the last OTA stock update v228 for this device,my favorite ROM !

What's AOSP ?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.

Perform a clean install once again with correct wipes.... I had lag issues nd heating with other 'aospb' rom but after i clean flashed it it got smooth...so try clean flash once again

Dont worry i wont spam the thread with xposed and all...i asked cuz i faced bootloop on the other aospb rom after second reboot...so i had to flash it again.....so to avoid that situation only i asked.....thanks for the quick reply....

Performance is worst
Battery issue as i said earlier but you joked me
I played asphalt 8 not playable even in low quality
Camera quality nt good at all
No modifications
Antutu score is 19876 only how?? Lol

short Review(without any Game play)
* Cool boot animation.
* Buttery smooth,fast, and Fully stable.
* Volte is working good without any issues.(new icon for volte is looking good)
* All essential customization are there.
All google apps & basic apps(mx player,music player,whtsup,telegram ,ucweb,etc) working without any lags or FCs.
* Camera is simple nd lakes filters ,panaroma mode or any kinda beauty mode but takes good quality pictures.If you need more features u can go for asus camera or any 3rd party app.
* Music nd speaker output: No music player pre installed.i used phonograph nd its good but,Sadly No equilizers availabe by default in Rom. Speaker output was normal like other roms have. No issues with that.
* Team Darkness app is good nd u can contact dev nd team so easily.Big thumbs up for that.
OTA app not working(can't check for update nd didnt showing current latest version.its showing "Unknown".
* Battery : Most users are so much concerned about battery nd me too.Atomic OS is well optimized in performance & Battery . i got 4.20 hr SOT in my usage style,check screenshots i attached below.Its Good nd par with top roms but not the best.Its first Release nd hope we will see improvements in battery.Atleast 5hr SOT needed.
* After phone switched off i put on charge nd could'nt see charge percentage .plz add how much battery percentage get charged in switch off mode feature in next build.
* Conclusion : I told only laking things but Believe me i m so much impressed by Atomic OS.
Without any doubt i can say it earned place in my top5 rom list.
No reboots no app crash.everything was quite stable nd smooth. A Big Thumbs up to Darkness Team .Well Done guys.

Waiting for what?
Yes video recording works but with 3rd party apps only. The system-inbuilt recorder crashes. Better not to use it.
Does this rom has 1080p hw decoding problem as well ? All 7.1.2 roms i tried have this issue

Edit : I checked it. I can confirm video playback of a clip of resolution 1920x1080 played perfectly smooth with hw, SW, and hw+ decoders in MX player.

Yes i'm using super su 2.82
And magisk in the 12.0
And I also have a magisk 13.3 problem
Proximity sensor is not working properly...I try to repair it with Proximity repair app....bt it does not help much coz after that Proximity sensor is working and sometimes not working properly...wht to do? Facing prblm in calls

My latest DND ROM 7.1.2 thread was actually just my thread. The build and work was of @AKS12 and all I did was add a few things and re-upload to afh.

Guys we got WiFi Autoconnect fix.
But the problem is... Only one of these things can work.
1) WiFi Autoconnect
2) Open hotspot (SHAREit etc.)
The fix is scheduled to officially launch on September 15th by another Dev. Also, there may be new features too. ?

Do not flash LoonyKernel. Rom already ships with LK along with LK tweaks. If there's a kernel update, I'll separately post kernel update zips for my AOSiP builds.
Recommended TWRP: Download [Thanks to Lyuu]
Recommended OpenGapps Package are Pico and Nano. Users may go for Micro if they want pixel launcher. Any other higher packages is not recommended and may unnecessarily use more memory.
Spectrum support is inbuilt so you just have to install spectrum app from play store to switch b/w different modes depending on the task/activity you are doing.
What's not working
SELinux (Disabled for now)
FM radio does not work
Video recording (Use open camera or asus camera)
In-built camera of some social media apps does not work (e.g. whatsapp)
Flashlight QS toggle (chop gesture works)
If any other you encounter please report with proper logs

Excellent ROM, but unfortunately I could not install magisk. Every time I got the message that it was not installed. When I install it via recovery, magisk says it is installed ... Solution?
Really great work ICrD512 on your ROM. Including sound and volume in the QS pulldown is nice to have, as well as all the other options in the OwlsNest. I had no problem getting Magisk v18.0 to work after installing Magisk manager 6.1.0. Flashed Asus camera and that's working fine Also. Weather on the lock screen would be a nice addition, but everything loads quick and smooth. Xt1644.
Did notice screen brightness is high at 0% on slider for night use. Editing lcd backlight file in root explorer from default 10 to 2 is a temp fix which reverts back when screen turns off. I think I've seen it mentioned in other pie Rom forums that brightness changed in pie.

I agree. It has been one of the best ROM 9.0 I have tried. But since Magisk did not work for me, I had to remove it. I'll take a look again.

I never flash Magisk until I've setup the ROM to my liking and then booting back to twrp and flashing Magisk. Then boot back to ROM and installing Magisk manager. I know others might have a different flashing sequence but this has always worked for me on pie roms.

Minor issue:
- AOSiP: Charging info on lockscreen is wrong I think: 344mA/h / 4V
unit for charging current should be mA, not mA/h
(and just one digit in 4V is not very accurate ..)

WhatsApp camera not working always crashes
Indeed the best of all pie roms I've tried till now. One thing I really liked about this rom that it didn't gave me inconsistency at performance. Ran smooth when I flashed it and still running smooth unlike some other where by now I start getting stutters and frame drops. Just one thing pls OP can you do something about the status bar gaps on left and right side? It doesn't look good honestly.
Finally a pie rom I am enjoying very much.

That's a known issue but I forgot to add it in non-working list. In-build camera might not work for some social media apps.

Yup I get that but in some roms like lineage 17.1 it's not working at all n what's worse is it's causing bootloop,so I wanna be cautious this time so I asked.i have been using this time since yesterday but still didn't use any magisk modules,it's rooted with magisk though.
In btw feels smooth enough for an initial build and the experience is unbeatable..it's definitely has become my no.1 favorite time so far...
I had few crashes at the firstboot n launcher stopped working a couple of times in d beginning but after updating system apps in play store everything seems fine.
And unique UI is definitely a big plus here.
Looking forward to you dev..I hope u continue working on this rom to make it more stable and upto date..btw thanks alot again for your wonderful work.
One more qs..are there any other modules that I need to flash in order to get Dolby working??

I think it's a bit early to say that but u can expect really good battery life. Cuz from first cycle I got around 5 hrs sot, considering my phone is more than 2 years old...I thinks it's a great result.
