[Q] CM6 RC3+Working Camera - internal storage?

Now that we have CM6 RC3 available, I've gone and mounted my internal storage.
I didn't see any options in the Camera app to tell it to save my taken pictures / videos to the internal storage?
For now, I have a 2gb minisd card, I would like to use my internal storage which is mounted for now.
Any ideas on how to tell the camera app to use internal storage? We had that option before with the HTCCamera.
Update: after searching around a bit on the interwebs, turns out the camera app saves to your sd card. Not sure what happens once your sd card fills up, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Saving things to sd card?

Is there anyway to make it save things like pictures and other app constant into my 32gb sd card instead of the 16gb internal sd? No matter on stock 4.0.4, pacman or slim rom, apps and pictures are still default save to internal sd. By far I tried to select the camera app to save pictures to external storage, but it keep saying I need to connect one which I already did. What can I try also to get those app content to save to sd card instead of internal sd? Thanks as always.

Not enough space on SD card error.

I downloaded Talking Santa for the kids but it won't let me play it. A screen keeps popping up that there is not enough space on my SC card but I have 50 gigs of free space. My knowledge is very limited but I unmounted and mounted again and that didn't do anything. I'm also getting this error when I try to move an app to my SD card using app 2 sd.
The app seems to have extra files it needs to download when you open it. It looks like it is trying to put those files on the internal storage. Try deleting some files off your internal SD not external.
This phone does a stupid thing where the internal memory is split into two partitions: Internal and SD card. Apks go to internal and data to SD card. But SD card is really just another subsection of your internal memory! Nothing actually goes to your external removable SD card when you move apps to the "SD card". This is a problem that I know no solution to. Any help?
Haven't had an issue with apps not going to SD. I have noticed that it does leave the empty folder behind on my internal SD.

Transferring SD adoptable storage to a different SD card

Hello,
i have been using adoptable storage for a while and i like it.
My adopted card however is getting close to full so i would like to switch to a larger one.
Has anyone done this? Is there anyway to transfer the data from the old to the new adopted card?
I dont have enough space on the phone memory itself to move everything back to the internal storage.
i can move pics and music to an hdd but not sure about apps and associated data that is on the card.
Thanks in advance!
You can send all files in sd card with a secondary app like zapya to computer and resend them to sd card when you adopted new sd card in your phone
Have you looked at HTC SyncManager?
I wasnt aware of these options i will look into them and report.
Thank you
Shouldn't it work if you just copy everything on your SD card to a PC, place the new SD card, format it as internal storage, copy everything back and restart?
I'm not sure if this works, but your apps are still installed on internal storage, only app data is placed on SD card.
Check settings > storage
If you tap on your internal storage, there should be some GB at apps and just a few MB on your SD card.

Except that pulling the adopted storage eviscerates the file system...
The only strategy I could fathom would be to duplicate the image onto the new SD card plugged in USB-OTG. If that were even possible, a concern would be changes during copy, making it inconsistent.
converted to adoptable storage but no data import option in the SD Card in storage
I am using a Samsung galaxy S5 and i converted my SD card to adoptable storage using adb shell process. after that there are two options showing in storage settings, internal storage and SD card.
Is it converted to Adoptable storage? If yes then why is there no option of importing data in the menu of 'SD card' storage option.
and how can i transfer from internal to SD card. or can make use of adoptable storage properly?

Can't take screenshots or photos on Android Nougat

For the past few days I been having issues taking screen shots and photos because it keeps telling me I have "insufficient storage" but I have more then 3GB of storage available without including the SD card which is mounted as portable drive on android. Before I combined the SD card and internal storage together got the error "insufficient storage" so I thought it was the SD card problem which it seemed like it because every time I unmounted and mounted the SD card the problem went away for a few hours but came back and I have to unmounted and mounted the SD card again. It got annoying so I decided to not combine the storage together therefore making the SD card storage portable, which seemed to resolve the problem but few days later the same problem happened and I don't even know what to do, so please can you help?

Internal storage and SD card combined prevented taking screen shots and photos and also prevented apps from accessing the storage making them crash.
Internal storage prevents taking screen shots and photos however allowing apps to access the storage at this current moment.
