Try Tune-in radio from the market. You can stream most FM stations, hd stations and satellite stations.
Do you BONSAI?
At this time, there is no working "app" for the FM Radio, mainly because the internal FM Radio chip has not been able to be turned on via the android software
As recommended above, Tune-In Radio is the current work around, but it is streaming
Netflix works on the 2.3 Gingerbread leaks without any additional modification necessary, but has not been modded to work on 2.2, seems to be a security/library issue, not something with the apk itself
Ok thanks guys yeah I'm currently using tune in radio. But thanks for the info.

The xplay has both a fm receiver and transmitter. But it has been disabled somewhere in the software. FXP is working on a fix.

If you have unlimited data, the fm radio apps on the market are way better i find since you can get stations from around the world
The one I use though wifi is called tune in radio.

Would definitely recommend tune in radio... even with a poor data signal it can keep your stream going... only downside is that since it buffers there is generally a bit of a delay...

Is there way to check the progress?
Thanks for the explanation, looking forward to had the same feature like this fm station on my play.
Internet radio was a bit annoying when it comes with buffering. xp

why you ask question beyond your ace radio spec that capable for wlan, bluetooth and gsm freq.
Your subject on hw but question on apps
i guys, this is my first post, i just to install android 4.0.3 on my HTC ARIA, and everything working fine... really fine really, but this is my problem, this version of ICS doesn't have any native client that could manage the FM radio, i could download from google play, but all the apps needs internet, i just want to know is you know some apps that could manage my radio on HTC ARIA or a new update of ICS for HTC ARIA that could help me with this issue.
Thanks guys
For now there's no way to get it to work. It's actually something that munjeni (one of the devs working on CM9 for Aria) has posted that he is working on, as you can see here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27799280&postcount=888
thaks...
In munjenis new CM 9 ROM the FM radio works, but without Audio...

Funny.
I'm not sure what use a radio without audio would serve.
But hey, it doesn't crash!
Hello guys, my name is nick and I am new to this forum. I just rooted my One V and while i was testing some ROMs (eg. Android Paranoid) I found that FM radio app is not included in it. I know I should have posted it in the ROM thread but i am just saying are there any FM radio apps for custom build ROMs that work well with HTC One V ?
Additional Info :-
I have already tried SPIRIT FM but somehow that doesn't seem to work on my phone.
SpiritFM works fine with the one v
the reason there's no radio app's is because there is none for android 4.*.*+
Do I need to change some settings in the Spirit Fm app because i don't hear any sound coming out of my speakers or headphones.
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
nope, works fine here, you need bluetooth turned on

at least on 10 it turns BT on automagically....if you turn it off Spirit just wont work..
Finally got it working. I had to flash the paranoid android ROM again but everything seems to work now. Spirit FM works perfectly on HTC One V.
Thanks Lloir and maxwen
