I installed win10 N
my htc desire 820s does not show in my computer .
htc sync manager tells me that i have to get windows media player 11 or later in order to install driver !
i already got some updates from Microsoft but the problem persists
please help me get my phone detected .

hi , i have a problem with my HTC one x , the internet through pass doesn't work on it and i think it's because the drivers , i tested my phone on my PC and everything is fine but on my laptop it doesn't work , and i installed the latest version of HTC sync , now i wanna uninstall the drivers and install fresh from the HTC sync last version , i uninstalled HTC sync , and HTC driver installer and ... from windows 8 but it doesn't work , is there anyway to delete this drivers ??
EDIT : sorry i did it my self now , there was 2 folder on my /program files/HTC that was not deleted when i uninstalled htc sync ( HTC driver folder and Internet through pass folder) and then reinstalled HTC sync and now everything is fine .
Hi Everyone! I'm new to xda developers.. and don't know much about android.. but recently trying to root my htc cause i have low internal memory and I want ti increase it with data2sd or link2sd..
I have a problem.. when i connect my htc wildfire s to PC via usb cable in hboot.. it says hboot usb plug for 5 sec and then ony says hboot.. and in windows it says it didn't recognise it.. I'm running Windows 8.1 PRO 64 bit.. Does the htc wildfire s supports the latest htc sync and drivers form the htc.com site? Plz help me.. Thanks in advance

this is common problem for every win8 user...I had the same problem...you have to download drivers for your phone and install them manually but I just can't remember where I saved those drivers...I'll try to find them and send you the link or I'll post them here...

OK finally let the phone do its work and after many bootloops and few hours it finally booted to HBOOT but now my Windows 10 doesnt recognize it , I installed HTC driver 4.17 and latest sync manager But it recognize my phone as My HTC.
Any fix?

I booted my phone to Stock Recovery , it has apply from SD Card and Apply from phone storage . How to flash it now? whats the file name ? Can someone give me a download link so I can flash a rom with stock recovery?
it says KOT69H release-keys in top of recovery
and on the bottom it says : write host_mode = 0 in yellow color.
OK I connected to PC and now it recognized as adb device but it says offline!
