Help! I do not know what else to do (excessive consumption Android system) - OnePlus 3 Questions & Answers

Hello, I need someone to wire me, I've been messing with my cell phone for several days ...
I explain briefly.
I was in beta 16 and everything was perfect, until I upgrade to beta 17, then the consumption of the "Android system" began to fire, warmed up a lot and I drained the battery.
As a result, I made several wipes, remained the same.
Restore factory and nothing, just ...
At the end choose to try another rom and put the Resurrction remix. (There began other problems with the recovery that every time q enter it, I restored factory)
In the end I decided to return to Oxygen Os Stable.
(I put it on sideload since the twrp)
Well, it's still the same ... Battery usage of the "Android system" increases much faster than anything else, as I use it on mobile. And the phone is always hot .... (look at the grades) Q give me something to use (I'll put it in the fridge ?)
What else can I do??
Has anyone else gone through it and solved it?
Help please ?

Do a proper fresh install of stock Oos using oxygen recovery and all will be well, don't flash other custom kernels on top of other custom kernels, what kernel are you running?

I closed bootloader and it works. But I re-open the bootloader, recovery twrp and supersu 2.82 and the problem returns.

On-screen navbar buttons on certains apps (tasker?)

Hi guys!
I'm trying to make a task on Tasker to turn on on-screen navbar buttons instead of capacitive buttons while running some apps (like games or some others) to avoid pressing the capacitive buttons.
Is that possible? I think I could do it if I knew the command that changes that configuration in a shell.
Thanks!
You should try this:
Code:
settings put secure dev_force_show_navbar 1 (to enable)
settings put secure dev_force_show_navbar 0 (to disable)
It's the command which is used for the OnePlus One running stock CM12.
Maybe it's the same on the OnePlus 3.

I tried before but it doesn't work, at least with oxygen OS stock.

I just try it and yes, it seems that doesn't work on OOS 3.2.7
Any other idea?
Seems like you might learn how to make logs, enable / disable soft keys and look at the logs to maybe find the command behind this.
Is there any app that I can use to make me more easy log the system or I need to log that using logcat on Android Studio?
The only app I know about is MatLog, but PlayStore must have more apps for logs
@Tenshii23 Hey were you able to achieve what you were planning? Were you able to find the command? I am stuck in a similar situation and just came across this thread.
Maybe this helps
I found a relevant part of my logcat running cm14.1

Hi...After seeing a lot of posts and problems with TWRP,,im not ready/in a mood to install this till problems are fixed...TWRP is still in beta mode so...
Ive installed ADW launcher and very satisfied with it in replacement of EMUI's theme manager and my phone is still as fast.
Of course id like theme manager to work but,wil wait...There will be a fix sooner or later

xiaomitool. No more bootloops

Like many of you, I also had the problem that the phone had a bootloop after a flash. No matter what I tried, nothing worked. I found and tried this tool xiaomitool from Francesco. With this tool you can flash any rom without bootloop. Please save your data before
Thus tool does a flash completely automatically. You even didn't need TWRP pre-installed on your device

Hi,
First, I'd like to thank you for finding the tool and publishing it here.
It's a really handy Application.
After moving around in the app quite a bit, I couldn't find any way to install any custom roms.
All it offers - Miui Global/Beta, Chinese Official/Beta roms and some other tweaks (TWRP, SU etc.)
How to flash any other custom Rom..?
Am I missing something here..?
Please describe.
Thanks in advance.

You have to download the ROM, then go to: "Local ROM file"

unable to install or launch TWRP

Hey,
I've unlocked my Mi 6 today (i'm using the global developer ROM 8.9.13 (MIUI10)) and wanted to root it, as many guides said I have to replace the default recovery with something like TWRP
result was:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
after leaving it like that for 30 minutes nothing has changed, the screen on my mobile was the the default fastboot screen nothing ever changed
so i tried to just launch TWRP without installing it:
nothing changed like before and i've stopped after 5minutes
i also have the same result with RedWolf Recovery Project:
I also tried using XiaoMiTool but all i got was the message that my phone is not connected to my MiAccount and still locked and did nothing
Does anyone have any idea whats going?
Edit:
seems like flashboot commands dont work? tried flashboot continue to reboot the device after checking with fastboot devices to see if it was recognized by the system and it was indeed.
and the result were the same as above cmd was stuck mobile didnt react....
Thanks
Dugma

I'd rather flash the recovery than just booting to it. You can flash it with fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
You should be able to boot to recovery afterwards. Or at least that's what I did when I bought my phone. I updated to the latest version of MIUI (android 8.0), then I enabled "oem unlock") and I was able to flash twrp with no problems. Keep in mind that the stock rom erases any custom recovery with the default one on boot.
Facing the same issue. Tried everything but no success.

Is it possible to downgrade from Q to Oreo ?

Hi everybody, big newbie here. Can someone explain to me step by step how to do this ? I think its the only way to make the Mi A2 Lite work correctly again ...
Yes, it's possible and go for EDL mode and then flash it via MiFlash. I've tried downgrading some time ago and that's the safest way to not mess up connectivity. Search for it, it's here on the forum. But frankly, why would you want to do that? I've been through many custom ROMs, tried many kernels, settings, etc., but I always come back to the official one. The reason is in the attached screenshot. It wasn't possible on any custom and until the official update to 11.0.7.0 (I was getting max 3 days on earlier builds). My method: install/update, clean all through the built-in recovery (mind that it's tricky to get into), then restore everything from Google cloud.

Well I taught myself to turn off stuff I don't need at the moment, especially mobile data, when I'm on WiFi. BT always on.
