If it were an official announcement from Motorola, it wouldn't be hidden on a forum, it would be on posted to all of Moto's social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, MySpace?)
No matter if it is false info or not. Anyhow, Moto Z series will surely get 8.0, just the time of arrival isn't revealed!
Yeah may be around 1 more year before it comes. But any ways still lovin the performance of my mzp upto this point.

Which I don't like - I use Nova launcher with Pixel Icon pack, which perfectly suits my aesthetic taste - all icons are rounded
I'm happy with android 7.1.2, because it's stable as hell. But now android 8.0.0 is around the corner. It's very fast. New system again. It's ok, so long to do the update is not a big deal. We will see in few months
I'm waiting on someone to build it, I want snoozable notifications for when I'm watching Netflix or gaming. I want the pip mode too.

Themes are still a little messed up. They apply for the most part but you have to pull battery after.
Still some english in rom but very use able. When I get translations I will update with a fix pack.
Expect a fix pack tonight or tomorrow it will include : 4way boot, translations etc

I'm not gonna lie, that's kinda a bummer. I've only messed with miui a couple of times, so I'm not really up on their development status. They're still using 2.3.3 as the base? Is there an ICS version in the works(I assume there is)?

This is 4.0. They use 2.2.3 for the release date every Friday. So the new one he's releasing is like 2.2.10 I think? Somewhere along those lines.

Damn! This looks great! Ever since I could get my hands on MIUI on my Vibrant I never looked back. Now with my Gnex i've just been enjoying what is easily the best version of Android by a long shot, ICS. But damn does this look good!
Maybe I'll have to try a dual boot for my first time on an Android device. That stuff work pretty well? I was looking at Boot Manager but I was wondering if there is anything else out there. Anyone got any suggestions?

Two things I would like to see.
1. Please add a little mouth under the mustache and beard options, it would make it funnier.
2. It would be nice to have an animation for the mouth as wel from time to time, maybe when the mouth is set to Awwww the monster could close it from time to time or have a little interaction if it's pressed.

I think I saw your error report in my developer console, thank you very much!
You can try clearing the "data" in the application info and try it again. I think it might be trying to find a custom background which is no longer in your device.
Tell me if it works, at a meantime, I'm finding way to patch it :cyclops:

I found some references to a new version supposedly released yesterday

I'm interested in the "Moto Body" stuff. My biggest complaint so far in the fitness items on the 360 is they live only on the watch so you don't get much for a rich interface with history.. if moto body unifies this it would be pretty cool, so I'd like to play with it.

nope . no gmail/call/hangouts .
no mention of it in features as well so looks like motorola skipped those .

I got the update. The new My Design way of making a watchface is very fast and looks great. Obviously not as detailed as Facer/WatchMaker, but not a bad solution considering.
Some of the new stock watchfaces were nice too. I can see my wife enjoying the "Blossoms" once, more so if you could make it automatically switch between the provided backgrounds, which can't be done as of now.

Same issue on my end, have the same watchface, but without the mini items on the lower half.
anyone see much of the "Moto Body" elements. I expected some more access to the fitness data coming off the watch on my phone, but other than changing the heading where my heigh/weight is stored in the app I don't see anything different.
Was guessing end of March on my other thread, which was best case... Seems it might happen

Same here. That's the reason I didn't yet update my S5. But I wouldn't mind playing around with LP a bit, even without Xposed. From what I've seen so far on other people's phones, I don't like it much, but I'd like to try it out on my own device. Too bad I can't afford to tinker with the S5, as it's my work phone...

We got bent over a little with how long its taking, but not too concerned ( been having wifi issues, fixes with a restart though)

Its correct though. Their commitment was to roll it out until April 15 we will receive it in the next 5 days or so.

yeah, we informed that those 3 phones will get Pie update on April 15. but its too early for max pro M1 ang max M2 to get the Pie update.

The User Experience is not the smoothest I noticed, Pie of Nokia 5.1 is way more smoother than this one. The overall experience still feel a bit unpolished. As far as UI goes, the corners are again not smooth like they were in a previous Oreo update (specially around the notch), for some weird reason there is circle witht the Pie navigation gesture pill, the launcher is not same as Pixel/Android One, apps such as Digital Wellbeing are not present nor is available to download). Plus point, Google camera is still working, the display and camera are lagging during video calls (just tried on WhatsApp for now). Will add a few more points as I notice.
