Cosmic-OS is a Custom Aftermarket Firmware Distribution based on Android Open Source Project with additional features, performance and battery life improvements.
The ROM has gone under a full rebase over CAF and includes best Optimisations!
With the New Rebase, we also have new Logo (Which you can see in my Profile Pic), New Bootanimation, New AboutCosmic-OS App, New Wallpapers and many exciting stuffs!
From now onwards, only selected features will be added to keep the ROM Clean as well as Stable!
So coming over to the new list of features, Cosmic-OS has went minimalistic with few but important features!

Really strange but today hdr is working ...
Just tried and with first photo it doesnt work, after rebooting camera app HDR works saving in internal and external SD card.
I made a couple of reboots system, dont know it they helped , try hdr by your side and let me know how it goes.

It doesn't for me nor does AOSP keyboard work well here

Yesterday after building for Titan I made same ROM for LG d802 (after 3-4 hours) and there was no chromium browser, but stock android browser, and HDR was working... I will rebuild soon cosmic for Titan, maybe something is changed in source

Ok

I'm using Nova launcher and noticed that when night mode is active the phone keeps lagging scrolling the app drawer. Without night mode, no lags...

OTA update appears ?

Flashed this and its not bad. People should try it. At first i did think the darkness related to an inverted color scheme with all black app but guess not. Its runs OK but when I changed font to small in settings it rebooted before changing which should not happen. Also nav bar height adjustment only to 65% which doesn't look much of a reduction as I wanted go smaller than so please look at adding a longer range. Like the change in buttons as the original is boring. So far no real issues at all. Signal works on both sims, data fine on main sim also SMS and calls. Battery holding up well too. I see the reason behind this ROM and I applaud it. Hope others give it a try too

short Review(without any Game play)
* Cool boot animation.
* Buttery smooth,fast, and Fully stable.
* Volte is working good without any issues.(new icon for volte is looking good)
* All essential customization are there.
All google apps & basic apps(mx player,music player,whtsup,telegram ,ucweb,etc) working without any lags or FCs.
* Camera is simple nd lakes filters ,panaroma mode or any kinda beauty mode but takes good quality pictures.If you need more features u can go for asus camera or any 3rd party app.
* Music nd speaker output: No music player pre installed.i used phonograph nd its good but,Sadly No equilizers availabe by default in Rom. Speaker output was normal like other roms have. No issues with that.
* Team Darkness app is good nd u can contact dev nd team so easily.Big thumbs up for that.
OTA app not working(can't check for update nd didnt showing current latest version.its showing "Unknown".
* Battery : Most users are so much concerned about battery nd me too.Atomic OS is well optimized in performance & Battery . i got 4.20 hr SOT in my usage style,check screenshots i attached below.Its Good nd par with top roms but not the best.Its first Release nd hope we will see improvements in battery.Atleast 5hr SOT needed.
* After phone switched off i put on charge nd could'nt see charge percentage .plz add how much battery percentage get charged in switch off mode feature in next build.
* Conclusion : I told only laking things but Believe me i m so much impressed by Atomic OS.
Without any doubt i can say it earned place in my top5 rom list.
No reboots no app crash.everything was quite stable nd smooth. A Big Thumbs up to Darkness Team .Well Done guys.

Can we change color of Low battery notification? Its showing green color.(screen shot is of battery usage ,ignore it)

Which gapps u used? No crash issue i experienced.
I used pico gaps nd make sure its latest.

EDIT!
Ok, I noticed a few things:
- There are no essential tiles in quick settings like: sound, screenshot (with partial screenshots), sync, caffeine
- Can't disable light in hardware buttons
- There is no "Double click on lockscreen to sleep" option, which is very useful
- I think that confirmation of rebooting is a little bit useless
- I'm using dark theme and when a floating window from LastPass app appears, it has black font on black background
Besides, rom looks great, very smooth and I'm waiting for next updates!

I didn't find advance reboot option,
Rom is good but needed improvement, so i wait for next build

I love the rom so far! Everything seem to be working so far (although System UI crashed few times when going to ROM settings, but it stabilized itself after reboot).
If I may suggest something - I wish I could do two things, actually - adjust brightness by sliding the status bar and also a way to enable the flashlight via double pressing power or longpressing the power. Great thanks in advance, looking forward to updates!

One minor bug I found - I moved clock on status bar from center to right and after reboot I end up with two clocks, one in the center and second one on the right side.

Sorry for so many words, but i would appreciate if people could say few words about the rom and the battery life, because i'm on latest lineage os now and it's bad, especially sleeping(during night).
Don't you think it would be useful to post the minimum required firmware version in the rom description?
Also, how about adding installation instructions? It could be very useful for people who are not that geeky, including the point about firmware there, because a lot of people do not know what it is and are thinking it's difficult to change/update the rom(i have a friend with mi5 who told me so).
If you don't have time for that I can help you, probably, even I'm an android developer I know nothing about maintaining custom firmwares, but i wish to help.

I was with ViperOS (best nougat rom) and now I will try this

I've been using this rom for 6 days now, what would you like to know?
It's very stable so far I did not have any issues. It's not as featured as other roms out there but the hit on the battery is also not as big as other roms. I used to use RR (pre-oreo official build) and CosmicOS and even though it has fewer features than the rest of them, I'm far more satisfied with it.

Thanks for reply, are you using f2fs or ext4

I ask this as i see 'F2FS' in the title.
Flashing the ROM is as simple as, clean flashing a ROM?
Do i have to format the internal storage for F2FS?

I made a lot of attempts, flashing various MIUIs (including 20.3.26) but could not start. Just an endless firmware logo.

Great ROM! Nice customization. Can't say about battery since mine is already way old. Just one favor - add more notification icons in the status bar. It is only limited to 2 icons and the rests is a dot. (Notification fix module is only for using notch and I want it hidden) ?

Update - pretty impressed by battery. I never thought I'd still be able to get this SOT even tho I'm mostly streaming movies, this is the best SOT from all the the roms I've tried. First cycle using this rom after first draining the battery. My phone is 17 months old and i'm always using it during charging so I'm pretty sure my battery is already depleted.

Perf kernel. See the pic below.
Idle drain not tested yet since I used my phone non stop. Gonna sleep in an hour and will update later.

Revolut not installing... Unsupported device... Nothing is installing from Magisk... And CTS profile is false... Can anyone help?
Edit: CTS profile resolved... Flashed 20.3 and updates through Magisk however still can't install Revolut... Tried through play store (can't find it) and tried installing APK... Told me app not installed... Any ideas?

Take a look at my idle drain. 0.8%/h last night with average of 0.9%/h from the last 3 sessions. This is my 2nd cycle since the first session is not counted after flashing the ROM I only had around 40% left. My battery drains faster than normal from 100% to around 70%. Will try to monitor with FKM.
