So just unpacked this badboy and been setting it up for the last hours, but I can't for the life of me find the option to disable the vibration on the on screen menu buttons? Am I blind or is it just missing?
[Solved]
Not possible, the options are greyed out for some reason (settings > sounds > other sounds).
Settings / system button / turn on or off vibration is at the bottom of the page ?

It's possible to turn off vibration in the sound settings. Go to settings, sound, vibration and select "Never"

doesn't work for lock screen and also for four softkeys
Install "No Lock" from market.
I just find it annoying that I have to slide my finger each time i want to unlock it, I just want to press the unlock button and have it go straight to the home screen instead of going to the lock screen.

To turn of vibration of the four buttons on the bottom of your phone, just turn of Haptic Feedback in your settings.

Work to me. Thank for your nice post
Yep, driving mode or handsfree
Anyone aware of anyway either via root or 3rd party app on how to change the strength of a notification vibration?
Coming from a pebble which literally shook your wrist when it vibrated, the vibration on the SW3 just seems so weak!
Looking at this http://forum.xda-developers.com/g-watch/orig-development/rom-graphene-rom-preview-t2888758
he changes some sysfs values:
Code:
# increase vibration intensity
echo 50 > /sys/class/timed_output/vibrator/amp
echo 115 > /sys/class/timed_output/vibrator/driving_ms
I don't have my SW3 yet so can't try myself. Maybe root is required.
I agree completely! This thing is dead compared to the pebble! Would I run those commands from ADB? Would I just put the value I want on the end?

the number just behind echo is the value.
Note: changes you do this way don't survive a reboot.
Aww but thank you!
not what you ask for but.....
I went to settings > about > enabled developer options > dev options .> pressed on manufacture menu-launcher >Vibrator > enter duration> changed to 500 ms
I tested and it vibrated longer than usual but the settings didn't stick.
anyone?

Those settings are only to test if sensors are working. They are not normal settings and will not stick...

You can also use "Vibration Notifier" it can add vibe for strenght you would and repeat one or more time 2s after the first original vibe.
+1 Light flow for me is the solution. Anyway, compared to the moto 360 this watch is an hammer drill!

this is dead already but i didnt like lightflow too much so ive been using "Feel the Wear" app for couple weeks now, and it works fine! made just for this ! so if you dont wanna bother paying or messing with your notifications and led, try this out ! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=sk.martinflorek.wear.feelthewear&hl=en
Thanks!
old thread i can see, however i stumbled across it searching for the same thing, for me lightflow and feel the wear was not for me as you have to pay for both and are filled with too many extras that i dont actually want.
i found this one - free/easy to use and does the trick fine to change the vibration length which makes me feel the vibration and not miss notifications

I'm missing calls and texts because my phone is going into do not disturb, seemingly randomly. All 3 default automatic rules (weekend, weeknight, and event) are set to off. Anyone got some advice?

My first guess would be that you are pressing the volume down button when you are in vibration mode.

Negative. It happens whilst just sitting on my desk (as well as other times...in my pocket, sitting in the cup-holder in my car, etc.).

I don't see a "moto actions" in the menu, but settings > sound and options > do not disturb access > there's a moto actions in there which was turned on. Turned it off. Hope that was it. Thank you.

Sorry, my mistake. Is a app wich came with the phone,"Moto", inside have a option called "Actions" and another called "Turn for Not Disturb" (or something related, my phone is in portuguese).
Guys, the LED Notification works perfectly with MM use "MOTO LED ENABLER" App from Google Play Store
This App does not works with 7.XX and above right now.

You can add all apps you like to get notification!
Need root?
yes, root needed.

Hi!, The MOTO LED ENABLER app is unstable. It has problem when reboot the cellphone.
I prefer the Light Flow Legacy app, it's much better, but the configuration is a little bit difficult...

Hey,
After a little experimentation, I found that you can use the Light Flow Legacy app to control the led. (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rageconsulting.android.lightflowlegacy&hl=en)
Once you've installed it, you must give notification access.
Go to menu > settings > Device Settings and Root > check "root mode" and "run every command as root". (***)
Then go to menu > settings > LED control > Additional LEDs found > check "charging control"
Now, go to menu > notification settings > click the 3-dot menu on any of the items in the list > settings
In the next screen, swipe right to find a tab called Light. Find charging LED and click on it. You'll have an option of turning it "solid".
You also have an option to set its brightness, but that setting didn't change the led's brightness.
On the top right corner, you have an option called "Test". Click on that and switch off your display.
You should see the charging led light up.
Cheers.
