Hello,
Today I replaced the destroyed glass of the camera. I cleaned the Camera Module inside of the Backcover
Now I mean the autofocus don't work correct. Look at these pictures.
At the first Picture I set the focus to the lamp. At the second to the bottle caps.
What do you mean?

It is UNDERNEATH the round glass that protects the lens, so its on the actual lens. It doesnt show up on pictures when im in the camera, and it focuses perfectly on whatever I click - ergo, it doesnt affect pictures but I wanna hear if anyone else has this "issue".
Images attached, open in Windows Picture Viewer (or whatever you use) at a reasonable size, cause the resolution is 2560x1920, which is too blurry in full-size.
On first picture its on left side, and 2nd picture its on the upper. Its a white line (the blue-greenish is just a light reflecting!)
When applying Lens-protection I did NOT notice this (I would've if it had been there) - could a little (big?) dust particle have slid its way in, some crazy how? Cause wouldn't it ruin the camera if the lens had such a big scratch?
I have it too on my lens
hi guys! im noticed the camera takes horrible photos resolution!!!! i was disney today and i cant take anyphotos because all of them was taken blurry and low resolution. but with the front camera the photos seems good resolution and more clearly.. is very annoying... anybody has the same problem???
i try with all setting and nothing change and the resolution settin is on max (8Megapixels)
Try these two things, clean the lens & either turn in or turn off the anri-shake. I was getting all kinds of lens flares and didn't even realize the lens was covered in my finger oils. Turning the anti shake was bad but after I turned it off then back in the pictures seem to have gotten better. BTW this phone has one if the worse possible placements of a flash and lens. I've had the flash reflect off my finger and it messes with the photo. GL hope your problem was like mine.

Mine was a bit blurry as well and then as I looked more closely at the rear lens I found that the guy who installed my Screen protector on the front also installed a protector on the rear as well and it covered the rear lens. Upon taking that screen protector off the rear lens the pictures were very clear and had no blur on them. I had wondered why at first the pictures were clear and then turned blurry after.
When I take pictures with my new Samsung Galaxy ACE 2 (few weeks old),
Pictures with camera focus setting to macro, then it take sharp photos
but when I set it to auto-focus, the borders are sharp, but the image in the center is out of focus and blurry.
When I capture a movie, the same problem occurs, the middle is out of focus and the borders look sharp.
Is this a bad camera module? is there any possibility to tweak the focus of the camera? I've already upgraded the firmware to Jelly Bean, but no improvements. I am thinking about replacing the camera module, or buy another phone.
I read some one had same problem with galaxy ace.
My auto-focus is working fine in all of video, back and front cam.
No noticeable difference to using macro mode either.
So would think u've got a faulty module then

When I take photo close to the object it's sharp in the middle, if the object distance is more than 50 cm away, then center is out of focus but borders are sharp.
So it's probably a focus problem of the camera module, is there any solution to adjust the focus point of the camera module, or just replacement?
Solved the problem.
I opened the ace 2, removed the back,
cleaned the camera lens on the print board. cleaned with alcohol
that fixed the problem :good: photo's now!
I am facing an unusualy issue which has cropped up suddenly.
I am not able to use the rear camera of the moto z play for anything as all images are extremely blurry as if an opaque cover is kept in front of it. But If I use the camera from a 1 inch or lesser distance, the clarity is superb as if its only meant for macro shots.
This issue is not happening with the front camera but only the rear camera.
Please help.

Sounds like hardware problem
Do you have a warranty?

Seems like problem with laser focus, check if manual focus is working or not.
If it's working then maybe it's the laser module that's giving trouble.
PS: check if the lens is clear and there's no dust inside.
Hi,
I changed my battery yesterday and my camera is behaving the same way. Manual focus does not work.
I had to apply a lot of heat to open the screen and also on the back, to loosen the old battery. Could it have damaged the rear camera?
If I replace the camera module, the laser sensor will be replaced too?
I also lost the finger print sensor, but maybe that's because I lost the lever of the zif connector.
OP, did you have some heat on your phone too?
hi all,
my oneplus 5t has a broken rear camera lens for a while,
since then my camera seems to work but can't focus and I would like to ask:
1. should rear camera lens replacement fix this?
2. does the rear camera lens has any functionality or is it just for the camera protection?
3. the frame of it my also be damaged because the broken camera has been taking some damage for a while, so maybe rear camera lens replacement will not work and I also need a new back panel? (this is in case the lens does have some functionality and getting electricity from the back panel or something).
Thanks in advance!
Hey
I'm having the same issue right now and was wondering if replacing the glass fixed it for you.
Thank you in advance!
