I really doubt it. The designer made it so it can fit with your typical back case. I had to heat up the lower area for it to fit my case with a front cover. I wish I had access to the original file as I would add a hole where the speaker outputs so it would be front firing.

Cool might give this a go.
Does it have QC3.0?

I'm currently working on a 3D printed part to hold a USB C plug and a right angle audio plug. If it works, I'll post the file. I just got my V20 about a week ago and I'm LOVING it...
I'm on my second generation of build. Needed a bit more space between the hardware to allow for a better fit...I want it nice..
Also 3d printed the clips to keep the cords together...
Let me know if people are interested.

Neoprene Sports Armband

I've just ordered one of these:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI...6&ssPageName=ADME:L:OU:AU:1123#ht_2130wt_1139
I'm a bit apprehensive about the capacity of it, as I'm not sure the 5.3" format _really_ does fit but will post back when it turns up and let you guys know.
I'm been searching high and low for a suitable arm band.
But unable to find any, hope post back soon.
on description:
Made for most large smartphones including HTC EVO 4G, HTC Thunderbolt, Samsung Droid Charge, and other devices up to 3.3"W x 5.1"H
isn't compatible with Note.
No offense, but I really don't know what you were thinking when you ordered that armband. The Note is clearly in a size category of its own and will never be compatible with accessories for a phone like the Evo 3D
I've bought this one.
rescuesupply.co.uk/aquapac-aq218-large-armband-case-waterproof-1129-p.asp
Looks like it will take the size. I'll let you know when it's been delivered.
I now need to get a case, I dropped it today and it's put a little dent in the shiny bezel.

How about this one? Several people on this forum, including myself, have decided to go with this one. It helps that it comes in several colors and DOESN'T look hideous.

fairly sure thats the one aquapac said would fit, (although their website says 7.5" circumference and the Note is 8") I like their kit, works well.
http://store.aquapac.net/explore-product-range/waterproof-phone-cases/large-armband-case-218.html
although in the velomobile I tend to find using one of these around my neck works better
http://store.aquapac.net/medium-whanganui-fits-kindle-3-658-17.html
(not sure if the small version would work)
Just got my aquapac arm band. It fits perfectly. There's a little room at the top but it can be folded down. Great fit width ways very snug.
Arm band is nice and long so it will fit around jackets if needed. Very impressed.
I bought it from Kit protector on amazon uk.
cool, can it be like fold at the bottom and top part together? like hidden it .. so it looks like the armband just fit nicely for the phone? (i mean with no space at all)
Yes you can do that quite simply.
I took it out for a run yesterday and I need to adjust the arm band or get a different one. It's almost to elastic and kept on slipping down, if you have runners arms the arm band need shortening somehow.
But overall I'm still pretty happy with it.
looking at your pictures, the small whanguni case should fit then ...
as the armband is listed as 7.5x6.8
where as the whanguni is 8x6
My small whanguni (cheers aquapac That sounds really silly).. Arrived. Today, note fits perfectly length and width. downside (obviously ) its not ideal with the Samsung for flip cover..
Closed it slides in and out fine, but not a lot of use... With flip open can't use camera inside the aquapac, and the felt face of the note flip cover makes it tricky with to extract.
With stock back on (no flip) its superb, works and fits perfectly.
hmmm do you think it would Fit still if the note had a gel case on it?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk
Ok, just to clarify: the Small Whanganui case is basically a plastic bag, right? As in, we still have to purchase the armband from Aquapac separately?

if you want to look at it like that, all the aquapacs are plastic bags, much in the same way the galaxy note is a mirror to shave in..
it the whanguni doesn't have an armband, uses a lanyard, so its an alternative to the armband one.

Yes it fits in but it is a little snug. The gel case and the Aquapac do seem to stick a little so it doesn't just slide out, you have to coax it.

Cruzerlite cases...any feedback?

Does anyone has any feedback on this case?

I have a SGP case but it is white so I want to go with a black case and like the android design on those but want to make sure they dont have any flaws.
Thanks
Headphone jack seems to be not lined up on most of them
my review of it
Hi, yep I've got this case, its actually not that bad.
the best thing is that it is very comfortable to hold.
the grip on it is good. its cut outs are good, headphone jack cut out is good, but I would prefer if it was a bit bigger.
all other cut outs are perfect apart from the speaker ones which covers only a very small amount of the top of the speaker, but is not a problem.
here are a few pics.
sorry for the poor quality of pics, I was using my v. old nokia 5800.
Thanks.
I am going to be getting one and posting a review and video review for it.

I have the Androidified Case and love it! It's super comfy (like the guy above me said) and it's just made to be easy to use. My only complaint is that the standard usb cable has a difficult time getting to the port due to the design of the case. Simple fix by pulling the piece up, but I don't like putting pressure on the port.

ah that could be an issue indeed. Can't wait to test it. I only got my white case which I hate due to the apple look
i had the same problem regarding the usb, at first i had to force it in due to the way the cut out is, but after two days it seemed that the case just changed its shape and adjusted to allow the usb to fit in without forcing it. which for me I now have no problem with it.
Thanks for the feedback. I will keep it in mind while testing.

Just received two of the cases today but waiting for the third one that has the fancy designs to do it.
So far , I love the looks of the black one with the Android design on the back and inside.
Not too sure about the big area left open for the camera and flash but I will comment about all that when I post it.
Did you receive the last case ? i'm very intrested in it.
You think it still will fit in the pocket of your jeans now it is not so slippery anymore ?

Actually just got the shipping notification so I expect it here in time for a Friday review at least.
Yes it does fit fine and I like that it has extra grip on the sides of the case. That feels better than my previous one which is more slippery.
I will make sure to take enough pictures but so far I like it. I guess the wait is not bad that way I can do a review after a week of using the case to give a better perspective as opposed to a right our of the bag review.
I put my Note in a sock, it fits well, 10$ on ebay and looks not bad.
If i use this Cruzerlite, will i be able to put it in a sock again (maybe a bigger one ?)
Or dont you guys use a sock ? what do you use then ?

I'm looking as well and have not made any decisions. The one you've listed should match the silver model well, but I think one of the bottom "leg" will block the One's Micro USB port, which means you can't charge the phone while it's in the stand. That's pretty much a deal breaker to me.
I am thinking about the phone in that stand horizontally.

Do you have to have the phone off center when vertical to plug it in? Looks like the center cutout is too narrow to avoid that. Other than that concern, it looks like a very nice stand and I might get one.
Slightly yes, but it's still very sturdy on the stand. I had to move the phone less than an inch to the left

Trident Aegis

Just got one of these... pretty impressed.
I have had 4 cases so far (had a half dozen or so for my Nexus 4; none I was happy with) with my Moto X:
Otterbox Commuter: Too hard to take on/off, lousy buttons, slippery.
Amzer Pudding: Meh, buttons not so good.
Incipio Dual Pro: Love it.
Trident Aegis: This is one pretty beefy piece of silicone. While the plastic out piece is not as grippy as the almost candle wax feel of the Dual Pro, it has a better texture than the Commuter, and enough silicone in the middle and corners (with a nice little ear) to make the phone quite grippy, without it sticking to your pocket.
Not quite as easily put on/off as the Dual Pro, but much easier than the Commuter due to no outer hard shell going over the buttons.
Buttons feel just as positive as the Dual Pro. This is definitely my case for the golf course, hiking, and anywhere else I think it may get knocked around.
Hey man great overall summary. Would you happen to haircut any pictures of the phone inside the cases? Would love to see how they look.

Any opinions on the headphone jack? I run a Poetic case because I like the spacing of the headphone jack such I can easily plug into my car without taking off the case.

Headphone jack has a very easily removed cover that moves well out of the way. But the diameter of the case above it doesn't seem like it would support a wide connector (I can measure if you want).

Appreciate it. I went ahead and took pictures to give you a good idea. In terms of numbers: I'm hoping for around a 15mm clearance; whether it is at least feasible to trim the hole to make it so.

You could always get a short extension cable with a smaller plug.

I have the Seidio Dilex case w/ holster, and really like the look of the Aegis case better, but the lack of an available holster makes it a non-starter. Does anyone know if the Aegis case works well (or at all) with the Seidio holster? The dimensions listed on the Trident web site indicate that the Aegis case is 0.15" taller than the Dilex, but that's probably from the "points" at the ends, not the center - where the clip would hold the case in the holster.

That doesn't sound like a bad idea...if push comes to shove....I might just do that. The only thing that worries about that is the change in impedance from doing that. I'm sure I can compensate but I hadn't thought of it before cause I always got lucky with the cases I bought being able to fit the whole 15mm diameter.

I have 555's too. Great headset! But creating a short pigtail won't increase impedance. The 555 uses an OFC cable, so if you really want to keep it pure, make your pigtail out of the same stuff.

That is what I use now so I don't ever have to worry about it no matter what phones/case combo I'm using. I hated the idea of limiting my case choices just because the jack opening was a little tight.
I have a Trident Aegis for my Moto G and it is indeed a tough, rugged case that provides a lot of protection. I use it when I think the phone might get bounced around some. But, I found it too bulky for every day use. Much more so than I thought it would be. I ended up with an Incipio DualPro and find I like it much better for normal use. It still provides good protection but without the extra bulk of the Aegis.

The Ballistic SG1188-A065 SG Case for Motorola X Phone has a fairly large cut out for the headphones so it may do the trick. I manage to plug in the large socket adapter on the hifiman re-zero's, although sometimes I have to make certain they are connected snuggly.
Unfortunately the forum won't let me a post a link to show you how large the adapter is because I haven't made ten posts.
Try googling headphonia hifiman re-zero
I have the Trident Aegis case for my X. Bought it off of Amazon, new in the retail packaging for $20.00. The case works well & as expected. The only gripes I have I that the opening for the headphone jack is wee bit small for all of my Jacks & it collects dust like crazy on the rubber parts of the case. It also is harder to find desktop docks & car mounts to fit the case (thickness & the charge port covers get in the way).

interesting..it looks chunkier than the black rubber strap though...I have very small wrists (on the stock black rubber strap I have the latch in the middle hole) so this might be too big for me. Anyone have small wrists and have pics of it on for comparison?

I thought the same, looks massive! Surely they could have made it smaller. With the size it is, I think a nice strap on it would look silly rather than nice.

If anyone gets one, please let us know if it's a dust magnet like the normal black strap, that's the only thing letting this watch down at the moment. Hopefully the metal strap will be available soon as well at a decent price.

it does look well made...but it appears taller than it needs to be...I mean why not just take the holder design from the silicon band, then cut it off where the holder narrows into the straps, and put a regular strap adapter there? (if that makes any sense lol :silly the size is a few millimeters shy of an an ankle bracelet.

yeah, know what you mean, but physically impossible to have a holder and attachment for the seperate straps in that small space. See below pictures with original and this holder. In the original strap the device itself already is overlapping the strap. So you need that space first on the seperate holder and then hav the location of the strap attachement strong enough (that is , more material needed)
thanks for sharing the detailed pics, I can see how the design does limit how close the adapters can be positioned to the actual core. No hope for my dainty wrists then...Also, is it just me, or is your stock silicone strap glossy?
I think the holder with black mesh strap looks quite nice

my wrist is smaller then yours i suppose, had the original strap in 3rd hole :
and it's not shiny from origin, its just worn (as you can see in previous pictures, the corners are showing metal underneath)
nope my wrist is smaller, i'd have only 1 hole exposed above the sony logo if I took a picture this way.
still, it does really look nice and premium, but it's just too much bezel for me.
There's a few official SWR510's on ebay at the moment, shipped from Japan, around 30 Euros.
Think I'll order one of these rather than the 3d printed ones.
