[APP][FREE][ANDROID] Testing a automatic personality test application. - Testing

This app can describe your personality when you start the app!
I'm still tweaking the math and statistics behind the app, therefore the generated personality traits might-be less accurate then the build-in questionnaire.
This is the first app i ever made, tip and tricks or feed-back from experienced app builders /testers would be extremely appreciated

[APP][2.1+][Beta] Pho.to Lab - photo effects, frames and montages

Hi everyone!
We're looking for testers for our photo processing app named Pho.to Lab. It's a collection of more than 500 photo effects. These are mostly photo frames and photo montages. All the effects are applied automatically, so the app works more like Instagram filters rather than Photoshop. Warning: it needs Internet connection to process photos. If you're going to use cellphone data, you better not.
Pho.to Lab has been on the market since 2011, but we have completely redesigned the new version. I've attached some screenshots to compare the versions so you can see how different they are. And this difference is the reason why we are looking for testers.

We're looking for feedback on two things. The first one is, obviously, any kind of bugs. Weird fonts, erratic shadows, stuff like that. You know,he app redesign can work bad on devices with extremely small or large resolutions or ppi. The second thing you could tell us is if you ike the app design. Was it obvious how to use it? Did the app do what you expected?
To get access to the app, join XDA Android App testers community or Pho.to Lab Beta community. Then follow this link and, pretty please, read what Play Market says you. Just in case you don't feel like reading it: opt-in first, then click the link below, then click 'Install' button.
Feel free to ping me anywhere. This thread, PMs, comments in one of the communities, and G+ messages are welcome. And please remember that I live in Eastern Europe. If you're from America and you're posting your comment in evening, I might very well be sleeping. So don't worry if I don't answer your questions or comments immediately, I'll definitely get back to you a little later.
Please check out Pho.to Lab and thank you!

[Q] How are apps valued?

I am currently developing an app for iOS and I'm wandering how to value it once it is created and (hopefully) people are using it....
I'm new to the market and realise my question may have no direct answer however any input would be appreciated!
I'd like to know if there is a direct correlation between users and monetary value of an app.... For example an ideal answer would be for every 10,000 users its value increases by 'x' amount.... (assuming it is free to download and no in app expenses)
Thanks in advance!
Well u can make money by adding admob or crowd funding
ARPU
There is term called ARPU for that - Average revenue per user. The term is mostly user by network companies bit its equally applicable to apps.
Higher number of users for the app and potential monetization per user is key to app valuation.

[GAME][3.0+] TapBrain

Hey everyone!
we from andserve started a beta program for our new app "TapBrain", which is a simple, sometimes annoying, but always challenging Android Game. We hope to find new testers to improve our feature coverage.
TapBrain is .....
a clear and simple game which challenges your speed and concentration skills! Coupled with modern design TappBrain challenges you to your limits.
It's not only about tapping as fast as possible, but also you have to stay focused, otherwise you have miscounted fast! Test your own concentration skills!
There is already Google Play Integration for beta-testers. We also open a research program called "Intelligent Tapping" for smart statistics in the app to give the user a better understanding of how is he playing and what he can learn from his game behaviour. So it will be not only a game for fun, but also for learning about yourself later on. Be excited from our next version!
If you just want to join us, take part in our community for the beta-testing:
Unfortunately I'm not able to post links. Please contact me here or [email protected] for receiving the Community-Link. Of course you can send me your googlemail, so that we can add you directly to the Beta-testers.
You can find the link where you admit as a tester in the group. Look for some screenshots from our Beta-Version in the attachment.
If you're wondering why the screenshots are in German, of course our graphics are also located in English.
Thank you
Niklas from andserve.

[Android][Free] An app that displays current top articles from the internet

Hi! We have published a new app and would appreciate some honest feedback info below.
App store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vi.newsoi.reader
About the app:
We have started to implement an app that evaluates how read-worthy different articles in the internet are. First we made a webapp that displays the current best articles and now have published also an app that displays the article feed for that webpage.
About the algorithm:
Some of the metrics used to evaluate an article are for example how topical the article is, how trending it is and how readable, coherent or objective the article is. These metrics we are the most confident in and of course we do not want to give the full algorithm available.
Future plans:
This is really much a work in progress and suggestions for future development are very welcome. For example now it is possible only to see random top ranked articles. Of course the idea is to make it categorize the articles and then you can browse the articles by categories (sports, world news etc.). Also allowing the user to add their own sources, for example blogs and other text based sources.
