[Q] stock rom variant issue

i used the thread to get back to stock rom is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2744888. but as the link given un this thread is ID ERA code which has a product code 059T991 .but i am from india where the valid product type is 059T985. so plz help where i can find the product code variant for india..
plz don't recommend nokia data package manager because i tried there and there i need to download the whole package.

Can't Download KDZ file from http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com

Hi everyone,
I can't download KDZ file fro my LG mobile P713 from http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com.
I have tried various methods that explaind for downloading (None Works for me).
now my mobile is dead after flashing wrong firmware.
so 1st I need to download that ROM KDZ for my mobile http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=FW286216432109876543213/V20B_00.kdz but I can't download
2nd how to flash my mobile offline, as I read about it.

What is not working? Flashing tool or link? If its link it must your ISP blocking that site!

Link is not working. So what can I do regarding ISP Blocking?

You can try with proxy or you can ask someone to download and upload it for you to some file hosting sites. My upload is 1mb and it would take to long to upload it!

for anyone else where the browser is blocking the download, if you got a linux running, use "wget" that works.

it's just a http request, it doesn't matter the GET operation hosting OS or the command. If the url is bad or the file not exist anymore you get 404

absolutely, i just want to tell others to try it via wget, cause in my case my browser (FF, Chrome) did not download the file and it was not blocked by ISP.

finaly i use the extreme downloader to resolve the blank page and it's wooorking
(i havenot the permission to put the link in my reply) download the Xtreme Download Manager from any source
it not a spam it's working i'm muslim trust me , after installing the application just go too file and click on download file put the link (who is notworking) , rename the file with the ".kdz" extension ,click download hahahahahaha it's working , for me i have just found these solution , i try every things even the the lg support tool

Thank you brother, this is the only way to download the KDZ file from that website. I don't know why Chrome won't start downloading but the XDM did it right. Thanks again, regards from USA

I just came across this thread.
Replace csmgdl.lgmobile.com in the download link with tool.lime.gdms.lge.com and you're good to go...

Navigate to LGUP install directory (default C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP) and simply replace the 8994.dll in model\8994 directory.

Here is the version 0.4.3 from the F500 variant of the device.
It was the only one that worked for me on the v29 firmware.

cause you need flash the v20p KDZ first, then you can flash any other KDZ.

Thank you it worked for my G4 H815!! It was bricked since my upgrade to nougat and it was impossible to go back to stock ROM Marshmallow.. (error 0x2000 with LGUP) Do you know why it works with this kdz and not with others? It's the only M version allowed for downgrade?

LGUP always stops at 16% then gives me a "0x2000 error.invalid command response"
After replacing the DLL file that you provided. It works.

[Help requested] How to update

Hi all,
I had unlocked bootloader and rooted my Honor 7X Indian version a long time ago. Since then I could not check xda and neither remember the tools I used to do the same.
I had received a notification for OTA update to firmware BND-AL10C675B161CUSTC675D001 for size 482 Mb. when I try to download and install it through phone, it boots into recovery and gives an error message.
Current firmware is:BND-AL10C675B141
Can someone pls guide me how can upgrade to latest firmware?

That is still a nougat rom. I think there is slightly newer version still on nougat, but several more with update to oreo.
Either way you can use HWOTA to to do FULL-OTA updates. . Having root is blocking you from taking the ota in a regular way, as of now.

That is normal to have the strange file names.
Afaik , you can flash direct to that version, as long as it is always the fullota.
And for quickest response, join this telegram group. We have many, many knowledgeable members , all of them are helpful.

Question Poco F3 patched firehose

So my poco f3 is bricked and cant flash stock miui using miflash cause it requires auth account. I found that we can bypass that auth acc by replacing patched firehose file but I dont know which file is for Poco F3. Please if someone know where to get it? I need to unbricked my phone asap.

I'd recommend looking for the guide posted on here about getting out of edl mode.
It costs about €5.
I originally went down the road of patched files but ended up paying for someone with an authorized account to do it for me, I paid €25, this was previous to the help guide posted.

Yeah it will work with FRP as well as flashing. It will bypass authentication required to flash.

If you are correct then this will be a massive help to users with bricked F3, have you or are you able to give instructions or a Youtube Tutorial on how to unbrick/Remove FRP Lock,
i don`t plan to brick my F3 but i did brick my LG G4 and fixed it with a leaked official firehose.

It has image files inside I don't know how to use them but to me it sounds like everyone stole a Poco f3 and now wants to remove the account to make their own. It's not really bricked

Have you tried it? Where is it from anyway?

Managed to track it down to this website https://romprovider.com/poco-f3-frp-mi-account-bypass-file/
And unfortunately it looks like this only removes the user Mi account linked to the phone.
It's not patched firehose, and hence cannot bypass authorized account requirement in case of a hard brick.

Not necessarily. You can check that the file is available on halabtech. I need to somehow buy it from there.
