Hello fellas
This guide is just a quick how-to CHANGING current audio sound on ICS 4.0.3 and other sound.
DISCLAIMER: THESE TUTORIALS HAS BEEN TASTED ONLY WITH ROOT ICS 4.0.3. STOCK ROM. I WON'T TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU MESS UP AND BRICK YOUR DEVICE OR ANYTHING ELSE. DO AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!! Don't forget to NANDROID before trying anything!
So let's get started.
Requirements
1.ROOTED GT-I9100
2.APPS “ROOT EXPLORER (File Manager )” installed on your device. (find in Google Play)
3. “.ogg” audio file. [<60KB size] (if you have other than this file please convert to .OGG audio file first. Use “audio converter” )
4. Audio converter.
What you need to do : “CHANGING CAMERA SOUND”
1.Connect your device to pc
2.RENAME your own .ogg audio file to “Shutter_01.ogg”
3.Copy the “Shutter_01.ogg” file to INT SD/EXT SD where u can find it.
4.Removed usb.
5.ON your device go to ROOT EXPLORER/system/media/audio/ui/
6.Find “Shutter_01.ogg” MOUNT R/O then move to out side (incase you wana use it back)
7.Find your own “Shutter_01.ogg” move to ui to replaced “Shutter_01.ogg”
8.Exit root explorer RESTART your device…
9.You are done….
TEST TOUR CAMERA SOUND AND GIFT ME FEED BACK
RENAME YOUR AUDIO FILE TO THIS IF YOU WANA CHANGE OTHER SOUND
1.TW_Touch.ogg = touch sound
2.Unlock.ogg = Screen Unlock sound
3.Lock.ogg = Screen Lock sound
4.Charger_Connection.ogg = charger connection sound
5.camera_click.ogg = Screenshots sound

Hi people i have flashed my explorer htc with rockodevs beats audio mod ive tried all of them sofar with no luck allversion zip doesnt install and all the others have just caused the music player to stop functioning attall, i get the error message "The application Music (process com.htc.music) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." every time i try to play any audio i flashed jaggy rom 3 with yannou90 kernel no nandroid as didnt understand it <-noob] so no backup, any help would be appreciated
download any one of these roms :-
1. If you want to download any file frm media fire you need to go to the address mediafire.com/?hiwudkjeiuee
2. Replace ?hiwudkjeiuee with :-
?qwr4n3phnfr4a
and type in your address bar mediafire.com/?***(* (hope u got it what to do).
please download the ASIA or EUROPE versin as they have default language as english.....so it ll be easy for you....
flash the downloaded rom as u did for your buggy custom ROM...(via recovery).
P.S. I am nt allowed to post external links in my post so adopted this methiod of telling you the location of your custom Rom.

Hi i re flashed jaggyrom which is fine, its the beats zips that dont work ive tried all of them and reflashed jaggy fresh each time, need help getting beats onto htc explorer as i dont seem to be able to do it,i think im just dumb lol
try fixing it by going to APP2SDGUI and pressing "rebuild" ig if you are experiecning force close of apps.
also, out of curiosity i wanted to know the exact build version of your rom ie jaggy rom 3.x.x

Please note for method included your HTC Explorer/Pico MUST be rooted, and yes HTCdev rooting does work with this.
Hi again, ive now solved and by far improved this issue method follows:
You will need...
Fresh copy of jaggyROM v 3.2.1
HTC Pico/Explorer
Beats audio installer app from google play
search google play or ask Rockodev for the link or search for his beats posts i think the link was in one of them
Beats audio version of google play music (which includes the (b) status bar icon)
ask Gadgetz for the link or look for his mod post
ROOT explorer.
Method...
install root explorer and grant root permission, then look in /system/app and mount r/w then find htc.music.apk and com.htc.music.apk
and long press each of them and select delete, confirm this. you now have the standard music app removed as it causes a conflict.
next copy google play beats edition onto sd card from your pc as it downloads there not on google play open root explorer again and look in /sdcard and long press music2beats.apk select move, then navigate back to /system/app mount r/w and paste.
now for permissions, long press musicbeats2.apk and select permissions
(noob guide) Owner: read [/] write [/] execute [ ], Group: read [/] write [ ] execute [ ], Others: read [/] write [ ] execute [ ].
(NON-noobs) rw-r-r--
this makes the apk appear as play music app in your apps after reboot
now for beats audio installer, this installs the plugins and working audio configs, the actual beats audio experience.
download from google play and open
grant root permission
just follow it through install beats etc etc by rockodev etc etc... once finished it will ask to reboot select yes.
if thid does not result in play music on your apps menu, manual reboot long press power select normal restart, and hey presto it all works even the status icon when playing music (for me at least) any problems im not a dev and so have no tech expertise but there are good people here on xda who can help you, just make a general post like i did.

[NOTE: all posts referred are all available on xda already they are merely here as they directly relate to the post and the problems i had, i have supplied this mini guide purely for the purposeof informing any readers who have had the same problem with beats audio on an HTC explorer]
How to stop the annoying click sound or change it on Amazon Fire Tv
Do you hate or love the click sound when moving around on the Fire Tv? Well if like me you can't stand that annoying sound, I will tell you how to remove that "click" or replace for a sound of your own? This has been tested on my AFTV2 but Im 99.9 % sure it will work on Gen 1 & the Fire Sticks too (I will try on my Fire Stick later) as long as you have root access.
PLEASE READ
This process needs root access & make sure you only change the file I'm talking about, I will not be responsible if you brick your device by being silly & deleting dependable files on your Fire Tv, I advice you don't delete it just incase then If you need to go back you can change or rename with adb. If you want to make a backup with twrp recovery you can back as far as I can see this process Is safe to do & I have tested & have not had any problems (so far).
Steps-
1. Using a file manager goto system/media/audio/ui
2. Select Mount R/W if you haven't already so you have authority to write to the device
3. Select, tick or change the Effect_Tick.ogg file & press rename
4. Rename as Effect_Tick.ogg.bac
5. Exit the file manager & now reboot the device using the select & the play/pause buttons held down together for about 5 or 6 seconds
6. Now a message will flash Up saying something like Effect_Tick.ogg not working or something similar? (Don't panic)
7. Once rebooted the annoying click has gone!
Replacing for a blank file
I have included a download of blank audio which i named Effect_Tick.ogg (just needs to be unziped) if you just replace this with the old sound or .bac the original & push this ogg file in the location system/media/audio/ui & then reboot you will have a non clicking scroll & also wont get any error Effect_Tick.ogg not working messages.
Bringing the click back
If you want to bring the click back, go back into system/media/audio/ui & delete the .bac part at the end of the name so it's Effect_Tick.ogg once again, reboot & it's back.
Changing the click for a different/custom sound
Or after you have done step 4 you could copy a audio file In the ogg format & name it Effect_Tick.ogg & then reboot
Okay wanted to make a thread specifically for sharing V4a settings profiles irs etc
v4a is the best sound mod for our units since we don't have to make hardware modifications to be able to have subwoofer controls etc.
This thread is to serve the purpose of creating a space for those using V4A with car audio systems as the threads for V4a don't really address car audio much.
Before I install V4a I flash the XtremeBeats Aural Maximizer 2 zip https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2634729
for V4a I use ARISE Sound Systems zip package, which includes V4a and other sound add-ons, I flash it via FlashFire

Sometimes it works better if you extract the v4arise 2.3.4.0 version (that's the best one due to the sound driver is superior than 2.5.0.5 or 2.4.0.1)
I have 13 kicker speakers including a 10'' kicker free air sub.
Here are my Settings for V4A
Enable & Force Enable are both checked
Playback Gain Control is enabled, effect is sight, strength is 4x, Max Output is at -3db
Spectrum Extension is enabled, strength is at .5 (great for spotify streaming)
Convolver - IRS is Samsung SoundAlive Clarity - Cross Channel is @ 15%
Dynamic System enabled , device is high end headphone v2 , dynamic bass @ 15%
Viper clarity enabled , cclarity mode is natural, set at 6db
All the IRS files I have loaded are located in zip attachment.
It sounds amazing now
I am playing around with listening device settings to see if i can find a compatible setting too

First check your MCU and Android version from manufacturer is up-to-date - as some introduced sub control in updates. E.g. JY from MCU v.1.90

running 2.0-1 MCU and sub controls do not work.
Hardware modifications are needed for them to work from all my research so far, unless you have something up ya sleeve

Works just fine in my experience on JY-UL135. UI provides sub control which works with the correct MCU - JY 1.90 or greater. Nothing wrong with hardware control either - on these units if sub control isnt supported by the MCU, v4a control is limited to android apps, i.e. radio unaffected.
Please share your research.

Regardless of the MCU (i have a gs unit), the sub controls do not work period.
Maybe it's due to my setup, i have a 16 channel, harmon kardon amplifier...
V4A is processing on all applications OEM and aftermarket.
Do I have the steps correct??
1. Boot recovery
2. Install Aural Maximizer zip
3. Boot normal, make sure settings take effect
4. Boot recovery
5. Instal V4A arise zip
6.....
7. Profit
no , do this
1) root or be on malaysk rom
2) install flash fire
3) via flashfire flash aural maximizer zip
4) reboot test it out
5) either flash the v4a zip or extract the apk and isntall it as a user app and reboot

Does flash fire depend on Google play services or similar? I was able to install the apk, however when selecting the flash fire icon, it would try to open the program and then immediately quit.
Tried both .24 and .2 flash fire.
I have the MTCD_KGL with the malaysak rom flashed

i don't know, my google play services aren't disabled. re-enable it and retry

has anyone found a viper ddc to work with car speakers?
I have to open viper every time I turn on my car to get the audio processing to kick in, once I do that it works just fine, until I turn off the car and turn it on again. Do I need to convert it to a system app for it to start automatically? Have the Bonroad 7" Intel Sofia off aliexpress.

If you install it as a user app, and lock effect mode and show notification it will process normally upon boot.
When you flash it via fireflash for some reason it then does not process until you open it and uncheck and re-check enable.
make sure you have busybox installed and updated too!

The Aroma installer gives you the options to install whatever you want.
I go with the 2.3.4.0 version because of the superior audio driver.
Ever since this update, I can not choose external players on apps such as mv cast player, amplayer. These video players Allow to choose different players, but when now this amazon update shows the other players but there is no option for “just once” or “always” anymore. How can I downgrade fireOS to previous version or get the options again? Is there Modded am player for fireCube?

I don't believe there is a way downgrade. If you try, you are likely to brick your device. It may be feasible if you were unlocked and had TWRP, but that isnt available. It might be a pain, but a factory reset might open the option again also... But i am guessing.
