Is there any way to do this? I already tried with programs like SoftKeyZ, substratum but they didn't work. Also Xposed Module 'S8 buttons' didn't work too.

Hi bro's,
Is there a way to get softkeys on out device? I mean I can do the "qemu" command in buildprop but that will only give me the buttons in landscape mode. I'd like to have them in portrait too. There seem to be made room for them underneath the samsung recents app menu. but the space is empty-see through. I disllike hardware buttons and it would be so cool to just undbind them in the keyboard files and then navigate trhu softkeys. Any sugestions?

Thanks man. They work. But it can't do transparent navbar and Nova Launcher doesn't scale after it and leaves my icons underneath it.
But good find if you just want the buttons. ^^
Hey guys,
I recently updated my P6 to Android 4.4/B512 and I'm not able to change the colour of the NavBar again. I want it to be black instead of the ugly grey.
Before on Android 4.2 I used Xposed Framework from here and Gravitybox, and it worked flawlessly.
Now on Android 4.4 it works as well but my "Recent Activities" button is missing as soon as I turn on the coloured NavBar option in Gravitybox (see attached picture).
I tried another Xposed modules as well, Rainbow Bars, it works but it also colours the NavBar in Homescreen, when it should be transparent on Android 4.4.
Does anyone have an idea how to change the colour of the Navigation Bar without breaking the transparency in homescreen and still keeping all buttons?
I thought about editing SystemUI.apk manually, but I have no idea how to do that.
Thanks for your help :good:

Hey,
I´m not sure but I think Xposed framework is still not fully compatible to 4.4 which may causes your problems. As far as I know is xposed 2.5.1 working fine but I have not tested it, maybe this will help
The official Xposed Framework is working fine if you disable resource hooks. But doing so will disable Gravitybox as well.
The modified Xposed that I linked above (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51325072) works just fine, even without disabling resource hooks.
It's just that the damn button keeps missing.
edit: I tried changing the buttons several times, with Gravitybox, Android L Xposed module, and with the SoftkeyZ app, they work fine but it's always the Recent Activities Button that keeps missing.
In Gravitybox there is an option to swap the Back key with the Recent Activities key, but it's still the same button that's missing (see picture)

I tried Xblast too but it has the same problem as Rainbow Bars...
In several custom ROMs like Cyanogen it's working fine, so it must be possible
Hi,
I would like to know if there a way to hide the status bar and navigation bar everywhere and swipe up or down or make them appear.
I know you can do this in the browser app and for the navigation bar in certain app.
Didn't find anything in tweekbox app.
Hey mate!
Give this link a go.

Might be what your looking for. Basically what you want is Immersive mode that's available on Stock roms like CM11 and AOKP. Unfortunetly we don't have an unlocked bootloader for this phone yet, so we don't have access to this yet. Please note the above link only works for the nav buttons. You could also check out removing the nav buttons (via tweakbox) and replacing with LMT, pie controls! works like a charm for me
have a good one!
Use nova launcher with LMT pie controls
It's easy to hide the Navbar. Settings/ display/ home touch buttons. Then select hide home touch buttons. Tick all the apps you want them to be hidden on.
Use Nova Launcher... (+1)
You can assign gestures to show/hide status bar and the dock (I use double finger swipe up to show/hide status bar, and down for the dock icons. In the settings you can select Nova to hide nav bar which will complete the trick for you. Like this...
Thanks !!! It worked using nova and pie. But again , the status bar is not hidden in all the apps.
Use xposed. Gravity box module can do it I believe.
G3
I use gmd gesture control and auto hide soft keys to dispense of the nav bar. Gesture control also has an option to hide the status bar although I don't use it personally.

Hey Guys,
Is there perhaps an app or a Xposed module that can hide the navigation bar in other apps? I would like to have the navigation bar only in the Nova Launcher and then have it hidden in all other apps. Do not ask why! ^^ So far I have not found any way or app for it. I have root and am currently on the LeeDroid Rome with the ElementaX kernel.
Flashed Pixel Experience. I want to use LMT and disable the navigation bar, but I'm not sure how to disable it. The magisk module doesn't work and LMT won't work with those navbar removal apps from the play store. Anyone know how to remove it?
