[Q] Root for new Asus Fonepad 7 (ME372GC)

Hello,
i´ve just bougth an Asus FonePad 7 wit Intel z2560 soc. Does anybody know how to root this device?
Already tried motochopper, framaroot and Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v31, they did not work.
Any help would appreciated

I have bought Asus Fonepad HD 7 ME372CG would be great if someone could root this device for us and maybe some ROM developing soon, the device has great potential!

Have you tried Cydia Impactor? i've read in some thread that it can but not sure if it was for previous fonepad version
Let me know how it works, im interested to get one myself as i just bricked my GNote N7000.

Cydia Impactor doesnt not recognize the device at least on my PC Windows 64bit, i can only use the fastboot commands but they still return as "Unknown OEM command". It may need the drivers but asus havent released drivers or img/raw of the firmware so far.
Edit: I managed to make cydia impactor recognize my device but i get "signature bugs unavailable" i tried all the kind of options nothing worked apparently

You cant root it with VRoot sorry. So far i cant seem to find any one-click root tool that works.
We need help from someone whos experienced on rooting devices i guess

We need a Fonepad ROM. Recompile it, put SuperUser and Binaries inside, compile it and install it on device via System updates. This is how it works on old FonePad.

Is there any solution yet to root the asus fonepad 7 ?

Cydia impactor recognize my device as in shell shows: [email protected]:
and i tried to put su binary or doing anything else but as i dont have a correct driver for adb ( asus driver i mean) then i couldnt face any success!
if anybody give me an updated driver then maybe i can help in ways!
btw,ive updated my device to latest build 5.1.6 (4.3 JB android)

I have the same variant as yours. I am running now on COMMOTIO 4.4.4

simply... root your gpro with towelroot or any other tool. install a recovery based on twrp/cwm and download your desired custom rom. copy custom rom in sd card and reboot in recovery mode. from there install the zip file which contains recovery.
don't forget to wipe cache/delvic before and after zip installation. call me if you need any help. me too in isb (0333-5777919)

I can not use EDGE in my lg g pro f240s
I am from India and using lg g pro f240s with sphinx v2 rom 4.4..2 but i am not able to get EDGE and H+ net connection. Somebody help me.

DELETED MY OS , need help please !

I deleted my os with TWRP , and i don't know how to get a new OS or put the same OS on my phone , i have already do some researches about installing a os but i found nothing for the zenfone 2 laser (ze500kl) .

Welcome to the forum!
If you can still access your TWRP recovery, go into TWRP then connect your phone to your computer using a USB, your computer should detect your phone, then you can put a ROM from your computer then flash it in TWRP.

I looked over at the ZenFone 2 Laser forum (http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-2-laser) and unfortunately I could not find any ROM for your specific device model (ZE500KL)
I suggest posting help over there in the ZenFone 2 Laser forum on how to flash stock OS again.

Well, you can download the OS that it came with (http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/ZenFone/ZE500KL/UL-ASUS_Z00E-WW-12.8.5.106-user.zip) but I do not know how to install it because I don't have a ZenFone 2 Laser, I only have a ZenFone 2 I do not know if the procedure is the same.
So like what I said, you should go to the ZenFone 2 Laser forum and seek help there.

Since the file is already a .zip you should be able to install it using TWRP, but maybe there are other steps because it is a different phone and I do not want to potentially break your phone.

very first and most important thing. if you are rooted fully unroot it. if you have installed exposed uninstall that too. now factory reset your device first to avoid any kind of complication. after that you can download any latest LP firmware and sidload it via adb.

Flash Kernel FlareX v1.0 whit nethunter but dont recognize tplink 722n

I flash with FlareX v1.0 kernel to install nethunter .. but this kernel has some troubles, dont set up my wireless adpater.. tplink 722n ... chip atheros ...
Someone could say me where i can find the stock kernel for ASUS Zenfone 2 Z00AD whit lollipop.....
There is an other kernel for zenfone for install nethunter ?? What is the last version of Kernel FlareX ??

Thanks for answer bro !!! .... my zenfone is a Z00AD ... i think that is a trouble with the kernel,... the version that i installed i think dont get the driver for this adapter .............
What do you think would be the correct kernerl for my asus ??? kernel v1.8 ?? kernelM?
Can I install the new kernel directly ?

the adapter wirless is a TPLINK 722n v.2 .......... but i already probe with ALFA 036H too .. and didnt working .......
