Installed the Bodyguardz Pure Arc yesterday and everything went smooth and looks perfect. If you buy this make sure it has the "Express Align Tray" sticker on the front. It makes for an easy, perfect install.
I will wait a few hours before trying any cases. Here are a couple pictures of the packaging and protector on the phone.
I already know that it's way overpriced, has the dot matrix on the screen, only has adhesive on the top, bottom and thin sides. I'm just trying different protectors and wanted to share my experience.
If this protector stays like it is today, I'll be a happy camper.
First case try with the Arc is the UAG Rust Pathfinder and it's a perfect fit. If this case fits I believe most any case will work as the Pathfinder has some of the fattest lips, top & bottom of any case.
Bodyguardz Pure Arch works great with the UAG Monarch.
Very nice. Does the centre lift at all from the screen because of lack of adhesive when it's on the sides, top and bottom? I've read elsewhere it can.
And to go with that question, any touch latency issues?

The center does not lift one bit and the touch sensitivity 100% spot on.
The oleophobic coating on this protector is buttery smooth, way better than the naked glass of the phone it's self.

That's good. I saw a few reviews saying it's not great and that it has touch sensitivity issues, especially when comparing it to the Whitestone dome screen protector.

I'm passing on the Whitestone Dome as I'm not too crazy about curing glue on the face of my device.
Also after the Whitestone has been on your phone for several months how hard will it be to remove.
I'm using the D&P Screen Protector on my S8+ and it's almost identical to this -- It also came with a nice back protector skin.

Read up on UV loca glue. Time has no bearing on how hard it is to get off. It's cured with UV light. So mins or months after it sets it'll be the same. And it peels off like a film protector.
Actually, in the YouTube review I watched the guy was replacing a Bodyguardz arc with the Whitestone and he said it felt a lot better and more positive than the bodyguardz. Subjective I suppose.
I would love if I could get the Whitestone here in Ireland but I can't so I went with the Spigen Neo Flex for now.

Not optics but i can vouch for ultra crystal clear
I had it on a different phone and I loved it. I will probably pick it up.
It actually saved my screen! That is why I will never have trouble recommending it.
Its a hard screen protector.
Something sharp it my screen with force, dead on center and I saw the entire thing shatter - spider cracks throughout it. I then took off the screen protector and the screen was UNTOUCHED! The screen protector took all the force! The spider cracks were throughout the steinheil screen protector! Since then they are my favourite brand.
You will see smudges on the screen and fingerprints, but thats just like the normal glass anyway. Its very smooth and very clear.

Spider cracks you mean? I wish i had taken a photo but it was a year ago. I closed the center console door on top of my phone and forgot it had two points that protrude to hold a pen. Those points jammed right into the screen of the phone and it looked like the screen had cracked, but it was actually only the screen protector.
I was very relieved.
The crystal does have a high hardness rating.

I tried out the ultra crystal while waiting for my replacement FlexHD. Ultra crystal is very nice, but prone to fingerprints. Also the cut does not cover the whole screen. Aside from the fingerprints, which are to be expected on a "clear" protector, this is a very nice one but the minimal cut is not to my taste.
I can post pics if anyone is curious.

I really prefer the fit of the FlexHD; I will be trying the replacement once SGP sends me it.

Thank you! I'm liking how that looks. Might go with that
Sorry im not very into this invisible shields things but i always heard about zagg, are these better than theirs ?
How well does this screen protector adhere to the screen?
I bought the Belkin Clear ScreenGuard protector for the SGS3 and the Belkin screen protector has started to "bubble" around the screen protector because of the curved nature of the SGS3 screen.
I did a quick search and couldn't find much on this topic for this phone, specifically.
For those of you who have bought/used a screen protector for this phone, which brand would you recommend for? recommend against? And why?
ScreenProtector
Hey, personally i just bought the HD Zagg shield for the screen. Compared to other screens out there its a little more expensive, but you cant argue with the clarity and protection it gives. Plus it doesn't distort the picture at all and for a phone like the LGOG screen resolution is killer.
Screen Protector. What is that? LOL, no need with these new phones. My 2 cents.
I too prefer the zagg invisashields
I got the Ghost Armor because it is almost like the HD Invisible Shield.
Full body for $30. Feels like I'm touching the screen itself.
If you really want protection then go for the regular Zagg.
I bought this one from Spigen:
http://www.amazon.com/SPIGEN-SGP-Pr...keywords=spigen+screen+protector+lg+optimus+g
Fits perfectly, easy to apply, high quality, crystal clear, and the price is right.
I bought the Xtreme Full Body Protectors cheap but good really quality, for best protection I would go zag full body.

Awesome, and it's not forcing the edges up at all?
Sent from my Sprint LG Optimus G
The edges come up if I apply really hard pressure to the edges of the case. The key I have found is that when inserting the phone into the case, insert it at an angle under the lip of the case so that you are sure that the lip rests on top of the screen protector and not adjacent to it. Basically, imagine the amount of extra pressure you need to apply (compared to just holding the phone normally) to click one of the volume buttons while the phone is in the case. Now multiply that 5x. That's about how hard I have to push on the sides of the case if I want the case to force the up the screen protector. In my experience, unless I really try, the screen protector does not bubble up when in the Diztronic case and so it just not an issue for me.

I didn't have a screen protector on my phone for the first month, and it got some very light scratches. Also, the center of the screen had its coating rubbed off somewhat (the screen cleaner beaded differently in the center when sprayed on.) I usually use the Zagg HD shields, they covered up the light scratches and protect the phone nicely, I can barely tell that its on.

agreed, can't say enough good about these Spigen screen protectors.
The UQ is amazing but fingerprinty. They are hard to install perfect, but are dry installed. Clean up your dusty environment before you attempted to install one because the tiniest speck will show.
Still not sure how it happened, but I found a few minor scratches on my "gorilla" glass recently. There's never anything in my pocket with my phone, so I really don't understand how they got there.
Anyways, I found a 50% off code for Zagg at RetailMeNot:
feb4
Just ordered a front & back shield for ~$15.50 shipped.
I mean, WTF? Gorilla glass? More like scratch it by looking at it glass. My kid's tossed my HP Touchpad to the ground and smashed trains on it dozens of times and there's not a mark on it. But I put my LGOG in my pocket, take it out, and its scratched. Grrrrrr.
I bought a HD mirror screen protector. I wouldn't advise it. It reminds me of taking your 3D glasses off in the theater and watching the movie. This is while the phone is powered on.
In the sun its hard to see unless its on full display brightness.
These are my findings and opinions. I wouldn't buy it again.

I have gone through 3 of them and they all seem to be a little off from fully covering the screen has anyone found one that cover 100% of the screen ?
Screen protectors need a little gap from the edges, or they'll peel off.
Any reputable brand should be good. Ghost Armor, Zagg... Etc

I'll never use a plastic screen protector again. Tempered glass is the only way to go. It's easier to put on and protects way better. Not to mention how wonderful it feels to the touch!

Before purchasing it, you should ask the seller and you can see the reviews first. Mostly, the customers will tell you whether the screen protector fits their phone. You can have another try, hope you can find the fittest one.
Try out the halo branded protectors on amazon...I did a review of them a while ago and for the price, clarity, and fit you can't go wrong...

What i recommend is that you search for screen protector specyfically for you model... I suggest you buy Niklin Crystal Screen Protecotr - a bit more expensive but fits the screen perfectly and looks great..
Also, a handy tip. While changing the screen protector I recommend you do it in the bathroom after you have taken bath/shower- The steam does not let any dust sit on your screen and makes life much easier !
Ehi guys, which screen protector do you use?
I've got Mediadevil cristal clear. Not bad, but it's not oleophobic at all. Do you know a good oleophobic screen protector? Thank you!
I'm fairly sure the Spigen GLAS series of protectors are oleophobic, as well as the Obliq Zeiss Oleophobic one. Neither of these are as good as the screen but they work well. I have the Obliq one and I love it,

Thank you for your input man, it's my first day with the awesome Nexus 5!
The Spigen GLAS tempered glass screen protectors do have some oleophobic properties, but it still gathers fingerprints quite easily (I have this on my N5). I've also used a Clarivue Anti-Glare screen protector that was also oleophobic, and while it worked for a while the surface started to rub off and was clearly worn out after several months of use, especially around where the keyboard is.
No oleophobic screen protector is perfect (obviously) and be cautious of those that will wear out after some use. And obviously it reduces the screen quality in some cases. Just food for thought.
I use this. It has oleophobic coat like on gorilla glass, but seems to attract some dust in my pocket unlike non-oleophobic screen protectors..

@gnufabio sorry for the off post but would it be any possibility for you to add the tf101 parts to the op so that we can use them without the server?
I just finished installing a Nillkin H+ Tempered Glass Screen Protector. It also has the oleophobic coating (pretty much all tempered glass screen protectors have it, if they want to be rated 9H) and it seems to be working quite well.
The good thing about this one is it has the nice rounded edges and is ~$25 - $30 cheaper than the Spigen. Spigen is charging way too much for what you get. Their glass screen protectors are not worth $40.
Just read through these though, and decide what is best for you.

Just adding a comment that the Nillkin tempered glass oleophoic coating works quite well for me. I have had it for a couple months now, and no complaints. Basically Stock feel (on glass) and I'd say the coating is better than stock screen.

I'm trying to find screen protector that covers entire screen. I don't like tempered glass. I bought ArmorSuit MilitaryShield however the screen does look clear at all, it is kind of grainy mostly when you look at bright background, it is really annoying. Seriously, the original lg protector was way better but it didn't cover entire screen.
Any suggestions?

Sorry I misunderstood. I've been using Xtremeguard on things for years. A quick Google search for coupons will net you 80-92% off. Otherwise they're crazy priced.

I've tried several and they never seem to fit right because our screens have a tiny curve on the upper and lower portions so the screen protector doesn't fully adhere to those parts.. smh, that sucks..
I am looking one that is clear and covers entire screen. I am really surprised that is so hard to do it. I haven't any problems to find few screen protectors for my edge in the past.
Maybe because v20 is new kid on the market?
I'm using a Skinomi wet apply protector and am pretty pleased with it. It's pretty clear and doesn't feel too soft.

Is it really clear? Or it is hazy? Or it the visibility is compared to original lg screen protector?
It's a wet apply protector, so you can notice it at times, but it's clear. It can get some texture in it if you put your nail into it, but it's pretty self healing. I wouldn't say it's grainy at all.

I ordered a ZAGG self-healing screen protector, it should be coming in the mail today. Admittedly I'm a bit biased to them, as I've never had a single problem with a ZAGG screen for all the years I've used them. Plus, the free return/exchange thing is pretty nice.
I'll post here or update this one when I put it on.
