Hey guys, this problem has been bothering me ever since i tried ICS, now i've switched to the Gnex and i thought maybe because it's native to the JB/ICS code the problem will go away but it hasn't.
The problem is within the camera app, when switching to panorama mode the camera preview is so small (like a cube? i've attached a mockup of the issue since it refuses to take a screenshot on panorama mode), i have no idea what's the root of this issue and how can it be fixed
hi
I use CM 11 Milestone 9 release, and everything is working properly...almost...
Last time i've installed Google Camera from Play Store, and there is the problem.
The camera seems buggy, but i think it's a rom issue, because on PA is working as it should.
On CM exactly the Photosphere and Panoramas aren't working, instead of camera view I see black screen (with all camera interface of course)
Maybe someone knows how to fix it.
tnx
Same issue for me. Google goggles is broken, too.
I searched and couldn't find mind help with this. I also searched the cyanogenmod bug system. It has been mentioned in the bug system but it was basically brushed off.
Anyhow, in the stock camera app the front facing camera is fine. But in some third party apps, for example: snapchat, it's distorted. Only with the front facing camera. (took a picture of a coin which is a perfect circle and it comes out as an oval.)
This is on the most current cm11 snapshot and was also in the previous snapshot. Any known fixes would be greatly appreciated.
Really? No one has a clue about this???
I installed the latest snapshot awhile ago and recently i noticed that HDR was taking really dark pics no matter what in the stock app, and then I noticed that the front facing camera doesn't work in 3rd party apps, and hdr doesnt work at all in 3rd party apps. They either take blank pics or crash the app I've been searching for days and i cant find a single fix nothing. I'm sorry i can't be of help, just wanted to let you know I've been looking and can't find anything
I have the exact problem OP is describing for a while now. I would love if someone had an answer.
Hi everyone.
I have a Moto G 2015 with LineageOS (14.1-20170511-NIGHTLY-osprey), after the Update both my camera and my YouTube app don't refresh the screen.
The camera takes pictures but I can't see the live preview. On the YouTube, videos play normally, when I change to fullscreen, the image freezes but the sound continues.
The software runs but don't render or refresh the screen.
Someone else having this problem?

Camera and Youtube now work for me!
Hi, thanks a lot for this hint!
I just checked the changelog of the fresh nightly 20170518, but I think I didn't spot a fix for this issue.
Can someone confirm that the new nightly build fixes it?
Thanks!
I've just updated it today and it works flawless to me now!

Thanks everybody!
Went to Xperience Rom for a week, and yesterday I flashed the last version of LineageOS, everything is working just fine.
Hi
i bought the LG G8s 1 1/2 weeks ago. Newest OTA-Update is installed. And i really love the LG smartphones. But i think i have a problem with the camera.
When i use the camera with settings 4k 60 fps then it seems that there are "microstutters". The video does not run smoothly.
I found a video on youtube where you can see this. When he pan the camera from left to right and right to left for example, you can see microstutters.
And i have exact the same problem. In 1080p 60 fps no problem. And i tried to record on SD-Card and internal memory. And i tried a factory reset.
