Special Mention to @tanish2k09, for his initial efforts towards LineageOS brinup for Lenovo A7000-a.
Also thanks to @aryan kedare for co-maintaining Los in unavailability of Rohan
LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

3) YouTube fixed. No youtube problem in latest build now.
======================================
F.A.Q :
======================================
Q) Does this ROM support substratum?
A) Yes! The latest LOMS ( LOS with OMS) is fully compatible with substratum and OMS commits have been integrated into the ROM. Since substratum uses OMS, all the themes that need OMS will work on the LOMS build.
Q) Do older builds (non-LOMS) support substratum?
A) Yes. And no too. Some of the themes that need OMS commits won't work. However, the themes which have no OMS commit requirements, will work nicely in Legacy mode. Legacy mode gives you the ability to use some substratum themes, but you will need to reboot after applying any/each overlay to see effect. Hey! It's still better than no theme right?
Q) The ROM is stable enough. Why isn't it official?
A) Many reasons to answer this one lol.
1) @Rohan Taneja (OP) isn't very active with development now. He's busy with higher studies.
2) Compiling ROMs is a very tedious task. Not making it official gives us the freedom to make the builds whenever we want. In official, you have to maintain the builds and make one for the device whenever a new major/monthly update is introduced.
3) Our device. It is a MTK phone. MTK device is happily accepted as official device by almost no rom community.
4) Our choice. Deal with it.
(Please note it isn't just as easy as typing the word "official" in the thread title and build prop to make it official. Noobs please don't spam thread about this topic)
Q) (You think something else can be added here?)
A) (PM me ASAP to tell your suggestion. I'm open to PM's. And please don't send stupid PM's asking to accept friend requests and s-h-i-t like that)
(FAQ section is under construction. Check later for more)
Awesome bro,Another great ROM from you

I have tested it on RR-N and made same changes for LineageOS-14.1. I had assumed it might, sorry if that is the case.
Flash Beangapps, if Opengapps are causing an issue
No need to flash the patch. I will make changes for future builds

Yes it's another workaround for gapps, but it is just dirty hack for such an issue.
Declaring device architect as arm64 crashing the ROM is really weird part of the problem. It's only happening to LineageOS and based ROMs like ResurrectionRemix for our device.
Need to debug the build thoroughly for now.

LineageOS team would never support MTK in the meantime, even their project on Wileyfox's Spark has been officially discontinued.
Don't expect it to be official in near future
OFFICIAL is just a tag. Real Deal is the firmware, it should be good enough for daily users.

Dude, engineering mode usually always exists in all ROMs. You can try to activate it using the dialer code... Google the code yourself. Don't be always dependent on us for links and stuff.

I'm not a noob, i know that code *#*#3646633#*#*, try to insert them in [ROM] [7.1.2_r8] [OFFICIAL] [aio_row] AospExtended ROM V4.2 [OMS/DUI], and see "This rom seems to be dont have engineer mode".
That's why i'm writing that ****.
If you dont use engineer mode - i'm using it, rom which without that - not usable for me because i can't insert my volume and mic values. that because i'm asking about it.

Compatible with all Xiaomi Mi 5 variants (32GB / 64GB / 128GB). Xiaomi Mi 5S and 5S Plus are not supported.

Some notes due to recurring questions:
Camera OIS can be recalibrated, if needed, with the following app: https://github.com/dobragab/Mi5CameraCalibrate.
Devices assembled with LGD panels may have less responsive hardware keys (recents and back) due to old touchscreen drivers released by Xiaomi. The workaround at the moment is to enable on-screen buttons and wait for more updated drivers in the next kernel source code release.
QC3.0 is not fully working and will be fixed when the next kernel source code drops.
So soon we have got cm13 official and cm14 almost stable...
thanks bgcngm and Mi5Devs team...
There we go. Too late? Could be, but we got there, in the best way we could. Mi5Devs always leading.
nice to see cm 14 for mi5 well be getting my phone soon ....thanks for ur hard work
One important note again: this is the one and only official support thread for CM-14.1 development.
Nice . At last mi5 got CM14.1 .
Btw how about CM13 ?
Is it still got updated when this CM14.1 become Official ?
Once Mi 5 moves to CM-14.1 official nightlies, CM-13.0 nigthlies will stop. That's what happens with all CM official devices.
Downloading and creating backups. As soon as i flash it, ill edit. Thanks for your work.
First of all a huge thanks to @bgcngm and mi5 devs for bringing cm-14.1 to mi5 and secondly about the camera broken stuff, are we using hal1 or hal3 camera, because when i checked the git for oneplus 3 they too had problems with hal3, hence they shifted back to hal1.

Camera is working apparently, but with 3rd party apps. It's just Snap that is force closing, but should be fixed in CM sources soon enough.
Just a warning, only video recording is not working.

About
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Cyanogenmod. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion…
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application: http://www.mfunz.com/en/developer-application, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!
Features:
(I will mention only that which does not take into CyanogenMod)
Listview animation
Interpolation anmação listview
Update over the air can download the download website only incremental, it helps lower faster update and upgrade more easily:
Some icons and own layouts
Manager for Google services, so no need to use a large gapps, you can only download necessary at MokeeCenter
Ringtones, Alarms, Notification, UI sounds are all different CyanogenMod, thus bringing a beautiful charm to rom
bootianimation own
information integrated into MokeeCenter
Settings to add speed data network
Settings for navigation bar
Settings for Statusbar
Intelligent control settings to configure the newer apps and others.
What is the difference?
RELEASE: Tested after integrating new features, more stable than NIGHTLY. (Odexed builds)
NIGHTLY: Built daily with newest code and experimental features, might contain undiscovered bugs. (Deodexded builds)
HISTORY: Final odexded builds once a newer Android version is out and being built.
EXPERIMENTAL: Released when a new device is added or when a new feature is added for public beta testing and feedback. (Deodexded builds)
UNOFFICIAL: Maintained separately by individual developers, usually involves modification of shared code which cannot be merged (affects other devices), therefore maintained by the developer himself.
Note: We always test the shared code for bugs, however sometimes we may not be able to detect device specific bugs. If you have such issues, it will be better to report to the device maintainer.

Installation mode :
To install the clean rom:
Download the rom
enter the recovery
make all wipes (expect internal storage)
choose zip from SD and install
you can use a gapps any of its taste since it is for android 7.1.x
or you can go MokeeCenter after starting rom, there you can download the small gapps integrated into the system and have a lighter and clean rom.
To install upgrade:
Method 1:
just download the complete package via OTA
enter the recovery
only to wipe cache and dalvik (optional, I do not)
install the complete package downloaded via OTA
Method 2:
Download the complete package over the air and go to install update
let install automatically for you
Method 3:
Download only incremental updates
for that you need to donate 30 CNY for the team to release the feature on the device directly
But you can do this update without donation
just go on the site and click below build itself where it is written (upgrade: OTA to MK ...)
there will be the incremental free for you, this will save on your data package or in your spare time.

That's how it always has been, once a device starts with official builds in a new branch, builds stop on the old one.

About Omni
"Omni is a community-based project for the Android community which is Free^3: Free to Use, Free to Modify, Free to Share. The goal of Omni is to experiment with Android development because we enjoy it. Omni isn’t better, just different. It’s another option for the billion Android users out there. Android (vs. iOS and every other mobile OS) has thrived on options as well as the gigantic, talented development community that has emerged to build those options. That’s the beauty of Android – that you can pick and choose from a smorgasbord of devices with varying features and functionality."
Since there are no official Android 9.0 builds provided by the OmniROM project anymore, I have continued to provide homemade builds with all ASB security patches applied.

Google Apps are not included within this package and have to be flashed seperately via TWRP.
OpenGApps Pico or Nano Package recommended. (arm)
Rooting
OmniROM does not come rooted out-of-the-box. If you think it's necessary to install a rootkit, you can use magisk to do that if needed. But don't expect to get support on issues related to the usage of rootkits.

Big THANKS also goes to the testers' support of the Athene Revivers tg group. Their effort and valueable feedback helped alot to iron out all G4 Plus related issues!
Just to mention: This is a 32 bit (arm) build, to stay close to official OEM release.
Last, but not least: Enjoy OmniROM!

If it's not working under not working list then its probably working so just try yourself and let others know about it and not working provide a proper log to the dev.

Not yet, but will be added soon. Added a note in the second post now.
Is this Arm version like test build? Will there be an Arm64 version (as I saw this was partially based on Lyuu's work)? Anyways thanks for official builds!

All developers pick some commits(changes) to make rom stable. This doesn't mean it is based on that one. Btw, this rom is fresh bringup by @golden-guy

I'm sorry if this was in any way offensive. I know about cherry-picking some commits. I wondered if he had given her credit, so the ROM might've been Arm64. I now know it was not the case. I just wanna know if there'd be any Arm64 ROM.

No. It's not offensive. I just need to tell that this rom is brought up by golden-guy from scratch.
hello,
have come to this ROM from Arrow.
This seems to work well - and importantly, works well with oneplus camera apk ( 32 bit ) to produce pics WITHOUT green pictures!
Only problem is I am having difficulty installing some apps from play store.
Yahoo Maill produces an error after install.
SO does Gmail - even if installed via Gapps.
Works fine on 64 bit Pie?
I am sorry if that is vague - maybe I am missing something easy about 32/64 builds?
I installied 32 bit Pico Gapps, and I have a moto g4 XT1622.
THis is the only Pie on which I can get a reliable camera.
Many thanks for all your work

Strange. Something simple as an email app should work just fine. Can you provide some logs, with Matlog? Restart phone, try either app, and then take logs.
Thanks
Hello.
Some points I noticed on the 20181202 build:
On WhatsApp: if you try turning the flashlight on to record a video, the camera closes. If you try to take a picture, the same occurs.
[*]Both stock camera and Open Camera takes sometime to activate the camera. Clean Flash fixed the problem.
Google Lens can't access camera.
TurboPower is working flawless, if possible, please add this on the OP.
I'll wait until next build and re-check if problems were fixed. If not, I'll send some logs (can't do this now).
How smooth is it for athene?

The official Google camera is available in the Play Store and it is compatible to download it, but when you open the Google camera, it stops working. It is only compatible with the download but not when opening it. They would be so kind to fix that bug and have that camera like a Pixel phone on a Motorola One (deen)

Not work "Moto Gestures" in Pixel Experience ROM
I have detected another error and in the System section in Settings, the "Moto Gestures" option does not work. When entering Moto Gestures it says it has stopped working, check it next update!

Sorry for troubles but it's claimed as working, im using it. make sure you have latest stock firmware before flashing, this bug could occur when you are dirty flashing to same slot, clean flash to fix this. for dirty flashing you could try flashing to opposite slot. I won't share incremental OTA's because of it's problems with applying due to TWRP slot issue's (that's why you need to do this via fastboot). Meanwhile new update was released and WIFI speed issue has been decreased or even eliminated. it's date is 20200722. Already Uploaded.
i dont find twrp for motorola one nowhere

Battery life
Hi, i just wanted to ask about battery life. Is it comparable to stock Android 10? I'm asking because i want to use PE on a daily basis and i know battery life on custom roms can suck haha. Anyways thank you for your work!
I'm planning on installing it tonight, so I'll comment here in a few days with an update and any bugs.

In Magisk settings, hide Magisk (this will rebuild Magisk with random package id). Then enable Magisk Hide and select all sensitive apps (such as netbanking apps, Google Pay, etc. Google Play Services is selected by default). Reboot. All good.
Be aware that some modules can break device fingerprint and SafetyNet, tho.
