I've got TWRP backups but can't find them! - HTC 10 Questions & Answers

So, I've got 64gb as internal storage. I have TWRP backups but I can't seem to (easily) locate them - was never a thing before.
My TWRP folder is empty. If I boot to TWRP, I see it has them, on the 64gb card. I'm a bit rusty, could any one remind me where they are if I'm looking via a file manager booted in Android.
I need to backup my backups to PC, etc.

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
In Root Explorer I navigate to Storage, and then my external SD card (it is not named external SD, but rather 7DD8-F219. Yours should be named differently). Once there, I scroll down to my TWRP folder, then the backup folder inside it).

[Q] MicroSDHC Card Issue

Just got a new SanDisk Ultra 32 GB MicroSDHC C10 card. I formatted it through Settings -> More -> Storage -> Format SD card. It formats it:

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Whenever I try to copy files using Android Command, I either get "Permission Denied" or "No such file or directory" errors:
If I start up an FTP server, I can copy files through WiFi. I swapped out the new 32GB one with my old 8GB one and Android Commander can copy files fine. Any idea why AC can copy to the 8GB but not the 32GB? I don't want to upload 20GB worth of stuff through WiFi when I was able to do it through my USB cable. :silly:
UPDATE: Okay got it figured out in case anyone it happens to anyone else.
1) Reinstalled Busy Box.
2) Rebooted phone.
3) Enabled Insecure ADBD
Forgot to enable insecure adbd and AC was showing no root access. Enabled it, restarted AC and was able to copy some files but would eventually give this error:

UGH. Any ideas?

[Q] Retarded File Transfer? Mass Storage Capabilities

I recently got an E4GT, and it for several months, i'd been running custom ROM's etc, all of which were Jelly Bean roms on 4.2.1+. However, while using stock on this replacement phone, I've run into the problem that there's no way to transfer files on this phone anymore. When I connect the phone, there's an option to switch between MTP and PTP, which USED to be fine because I could actually transfer files, however with this phone and update, I try to move music, pictures, docx, pdf's etc and nothing works. All I see is empty file folders.
How can I transfer files again???
This is what I get when I try to move a folder

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
This is what I get when I actually open the folder
Now, I understand why USB Mass Storage was changed to MTP/PTP, however what I don't understand is why this was added if it wasn't going to work?? And since it doesn't work, how can I transfer my files so that they do work?
Have you tried rebooting your computer then seeing if it works.
Ir if you have a memory card just pull it out and put in the computer to transfer your files for temporary fix.

Try using the AIO mod, or a custom TouchWiz ROM with it included (almost all of the GB27 ROMs have it). This problem was fixed a long time ago.

microSD samsung damaged?!

I've about 20gb of holidays photos and since I want to put them in my Android without reduce internal storage phone I bought from amazon 2 microsd XC-I 32GB (I've 2 galaxy note).
Every photo is about 1MB, so I first of all formatted sd with android in settings and then I connected the phone to pc and I tried to pass all photos. When transfer is finished I can see photos in gallery but when I reboot my phone a message appears "Your sdcard is damaged" and I can't do anything, only format another time my sd.
It's very annoying! I tried with both sd card, I tried to reduce photos size with irfanview or put photos directly in the card (with a computer card reader). Nothing worked.
So what could be the problem? How can I solve this issue?
I don't understand why a Samsung sdcard doesn't work with a Samsung phone. And it's not an old sd but latest samsung sd card.
Here is the card:

Are you sure it is original samsung SD card and not a copy?

What exactly I need to do to restore via TWRP?
This ENTIRE!!! TWRP folder has to go on the root of your external SD card or internal doesn't really matter at this point.
Or if you have a TRWP on your SD card just copy the "dated" folder in there and TWRP should be seeing it then.
Your tree structure should look like this.. TWRP... BACKUPS... "bunch" of numbers folder... then the dated folder.
Once you have done that go into custom recovery "TWRP" and go to back up and restore and navigate to the file and swipe to restore.
Hoping this helps

Ah thanks man, seems that my problem is the number had changed since I sent it for warranty, they change my internal board/chip so i just have to rename my old folder number to a new number.

[HTC One M8]Encrypted SD Card via phone settings now unable to mount it back.

O/S :-
Android - 6.0
HTC Sense Version : - 7.0
S/W Number :- 6.15.720.2
Non-Root
So i encrypted my sd card via phone settings, everything went okay and then my sd card was ejected and told as safe to remove. I clicked on SD card and it asked me to mount it to use it and when i did, it said - Samsung SD Card Mounted but it still shows ejected. I have tried restarting, removing and inserting the card.
When i go to bootloader and 'update via SD card', i can actually see all the folder hierarchy of my SD. Dont have a card reader or adapter to test it with PC.
Tried Es File Explorer, Xplore and Built-in file manager but cant see my SD.
It is a Samsung microSDXC 64GB Class 10 UHS-I with ****load of important data.
Any Suggestions?

So I bought a card reader, took backup of all the data on my pc, formatted the SD card but the phone still shows it as ejected and I'm unable to mount it. What to do?
