Searching for experimental migration build N4 / N5 / Moto G (Falcon) - LineageOS Questions & Answers

Hi everybody,
can someone help me with a link to the Lineage experimantal builds either for Nexus 4 or Nexus 5 or Moto G (Falcon) or for all of them? I´d like to migrate my CM14.1 phones but unfortunately they took these builds off their servers (I don´t quite see the reason why)
Thank you very much!
Cheers

I'd like one for the Nexus 5 also, I had no luck hunting it down.

[Q] Flyme official ROM

Hey guys,
So a while ago flyme released an official port for the Nexus 5, which works pretty well on my N5.
I was wondering if it possible to port this over the the G3 (D855). Hardware is very similar and its CM based, so you would think its possible without any big headaches.
I've had a go at porting it, but no luck so far. Anyone with some developer experience want to give this a go?
They also have the new MX4 Pro flyme rom on their website, which is made for our screen res, but im assuming that will be a lot harder to port?
Cheers.
Tom
++ that would be nice to see on G3:good:

[Q] Cyanogen LG G3 expeected first stable release date?

Hello old friends! A long time since I've posted on here, have happily had a Nexus 5 for the last year. Bought an LG G3 D855 and am horrified by the non-stock-android experience - give me my nexus 5 back!
I've seen that the LG G3 officially supported cyanogenmod nightlies are out - how long do you think it will be before the first stable is released? I am rusty on the ol' custom ROM scene and would rather stick to Stable releases.
Thanks!
already some time the CM12 roms are working, the only thing that has not been resolved is the video recording in 4K, but the rest is great, lasting battery well, is not heating up too much, and has no lags, the rom is fluid unlike the stock rOMs. can install that will not regret it. :good:
Why would you knowingly post in the wrong section?

Optimus G- Dead???

Hy guys,
I have some questions.
I love my LG Optimus G.
Switched from the LG Gpro back to the G because the G is much better.
But i thought there would come some more official updates.
If you look inside our G the specs are nearly the same like the new phones.
If you oc a bit and play with kernel.
The G is better then Gpro and OG2 for shure.
But where are the new firmwares?
Is no cool dev out there who can port a new G4 rom?
Is that not possible?
I treyd the new cm and aosp roms but they are not really stable for me.
It would be great if someone could make a LAST Super Cool LG Rom.
Maybe we could find some nice devs???

Note: As a long time lurker who never posts my response is not just to your post but to other lurkers who may be less knowledgeable.
What MasterFURQAN said! I appreciate LG's proprietary overlay for Jellybean and Kitkat as well but wanted my still quality hardware to have more current software.
The last LG based firmware which I used until about three weeks ago was Sling Kahroba. It is based on the last official LG version of Android for our device which was not released in America. I am not a developer or ROM porter but I imagine the significant hardware differences like much higher screen resolution, fingerprint reader, camera resolution, ROM size etc make porting from an essentially unrelated platform (CPU, GPU, Camera libs) too complicated.
You do not specify what Optimus G model you have but my American version (E970) is running fine with Nitrogen M 6.0.1 (Jan 25 build) with the E970 kernel flashed after. I am not much of a gamer and can't quote Antutu scores but it is stable and fully functional with one small camera related exception. The fine focus on print within a 18 inches or so is not quite there and I use another free camera app, not Google's, because it is more stable in video mode.
I skipped Lollipop and tried other Marshmallow ROMs in this forum but Nitrogen seems to work best for me now.
I used e975, nitrogen works fine for me too. I didn't find big issue with and this rom updated continuously. I am very happy that my old phone can have android 6.0. Even the new phone that I bought for my wife and daughter still in kitkat and lollipop..

I'm sure it will only be a matter of time for people to start building for the N7-2013, especially the bigger groups like CM or PureNexus.
I would love a PureNexus 7 for Nexus 7.
We'll not have an official PureNexus for Nexus 7.

Slightly more work than N5, 8960 vs 8974. I have it booting, just no sound yet
someone already has 7.0 running but the camera, manual brightness and google play services keep crashing.

How long from first build to stable?

I have used LOS 14.1 on both a Moto G (2015) and a Moto X (2014) and am a big fan of this ROM (also used CM 12 on a Nook back in the day.) I recently acquired a used Moto G4 (not plus) for use as my daily driver. I have decided to stick with stock Nougat until LOS 15 is stable. Having not really followed development threads much, I'm curious if there's a typical amount of time from an initial build to a stable ROM. I know there's no exact answer but I wonder if there's a range that often applies. E.g., 3-6 months or 6-12 months or ??
If this is a stupid question, don't call me an idiot, just don't respond!
