i have hTC HD Mini with ROM version 1.07.707.1. my phone is bought from italy however i myself am living in UAE and know only english language. Currently all menus in my mobile are in english only.
i found a ROM version updation in HTC italy website which is 1.36.408.1, however when i downloaded the version and tried to update my mobile, i found out that all installation instructions were in italian language so i didnt updated ROM version thinking that doing that may change the OS language of my mobile set? Can anyone suggest should i update my ROM version, if yes how do i do it without changing my mobile current language ENGLISH??
any help is appreciated.

As I had 4.0.A.2.355 firmware I upgraded to 4.0.A.2.368 generic from that thread. After that the hardware keyboard does not give any Swedish letters. Is there any Swedish or Nordic firmware to download and flash?

Not generic nordic or generic uk, i need the generic german file which i ve seen on the wotanserver page, but i cant download it (i dont know why)
can anyone give me a link for this firmware to load it?

Why do you need the stock german one? arnt the versions all the same just with a ifferent language?
With the generic UK FW you can just choose German language at the beginning of the setup wizard, so I don't see why you need the generic German FW?
Warranty , I guess.
If it's for warrenty purposes use the wotanserver and select the firmware for stock germany

Excuse me for my bad english...
I've got a G Pro with Cyanogenmod 11, but I want to return to Stock LG Firmware, because of the bugs of this ROM.
The problem is that my .KDZ program don't work, and i can install a ROM only in .ZIP version, by the Recovery Mode.
BUT, i downloaded a stock LG firmware by AT&T, with a lot of apps that I don't use and ONLY english, france ed chinese language!
I'm Italian, and I want Italian Language for my phone...there's a .ZIP of stock lg firmware WITHOUT AT&T "personalization"?
