Many cases say for Sprint (LS970?), AT&T (E970?) or Bell (E973).
Which ones are compatible with Rogers E971?
According to www.gsmarena.com:
AT&T E970
130.8 x 71.6 x 8.4 mm (5.15 x 2.82 x 0.33 in)
Sprint LS970 / Bell E973
131.9 x 68.9 x 8.5 mm (5.19 x 2.71 x 0.33 in)
Rogers E971
? x ? x ?
E971=LS970/E973 in terms of size. I purchased the Diztronic case and like it quite a bit. $15 shipped to Canada. If you're prone to destroying your phone, you might want to consider an otterbox.

Thanks. I asked becuase I want to get the Diztronic case as well. Also good to hear that it is a good case.
Do you have a screen protector? My current $5 case "bubbles" my screen protector so I don't use it.
The AT&T E970 is the only one of the bunch with a different body.

Not using a screen protector, so I wouldn't know. I think there's a thread on the diztronic case where you might find that info.
cases for optimus G
Search ebay and you can find a crystal covered case. I just ordered it for my girlfriend, so we will see how it fits when it gets here.
search - Swarovski Persian Crystal Cubic Case
Any other cases? I am annoyed with the lack of cases for this phone.
only one that fit was a tpu gel case from ebay!
The one from the Rogers site works really well. Doesn't affect screen protectors, adds strength/support, and no longer makes you feel like you'll break the phone by using it.

Corrected for you
Not sure how under $15 for a hard case is considered "super overpriced". Don't think I'd trust a $5 case.
The " Avoca Metal Sandblasted Case for LG Optimus G" and "Avoca TPU" cases are only $14.99, and ship across Canada within a week.
Oh, and no, it's Affect, not Effect.

I've just received the Avoca Metal Sandblased Case and its absolutely beautiful, very premium feel (Metal back and no shiny plastic) and doesn't add too much heft to the device. Well worth the 15$, not as tough as an Otterbox but it doesn't make the phone ugly.
Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of a good flip cover for the one? I would like one with the stand feature.

I would stay away from the htc one cover, the phone just falls out at times by itself. There is a few heavy duty cases which offer the stand feature but they cost around £5 and not sure what the quality of them our like. I have the both htc covers and the otterbox
You could try these. I'm using it since i got my phone, and it's a really good case!

I have the black KLD Oscar flip case on my black HTC One.. a perfect combination.
Looks good, the phone doesn't fall out even if dropped. :victory:

I've been using the Ringke Delight case for about a week now and really like it. the look is great, but the materials are kinda crap. Can't really complain since its so cheap though. It definitely won't fall apart anytime soon, but its just very rough and plasticy.

Well I am using this same Amzer TPU case for my MOTO G...I got it from fommy .... it was of $ 7.95 shipped.. I would say pretty decent case very well fitted to the phone...leaves no marks and have nice precise cut outs.....so I am happy with my case....worth of cost....

yes i read your impressions bout it and i really liked its appearance from the pics as i didnt see one from real life, hope you can upload some pics of it from all the sides especially the back
but i'm really clumsy with mobiles and always falling from me without noticing , so i believe my chances here is better
i think i'll stick with the flip case for a while, tho the magnetic flap seems to be a pain, and afraid the thickness would affect the pics tho the cam is moderate , after that i'll be gladly take this Amzer's
thanks for reply

now it's $10.99, would that be good price for it?
i didn't know it'd be this crappy, i know it's cheap but after some search for this price range up to $15, didn't found something looks better ,tidy and looking durable at least
i'll post my opinions too once i received it
regards
i think the flip cover from RINGKE DELIGHT is the worst !!!!
i cant remove the mobile from it
i'm afraid of damage it or scratch it
my nails broke while trying from all areas
help
The clasp placement on the Ringke Delight is a bit problematic as-well - gets in the way of the volume rockers both with the case open and closed.
Also don't think you'll be using a compass app with the Ringke fitted - the magnet in the clasp is quite strong and stops compass apps getting a proper bearing. Using Maps with GPS is fine though.
Other than that I quite like it, but if I was buying again I'd look elsewhere. Agreed it's a pain getting the phone out of it.
I recommend this case:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/20101483824...eName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
It adds little bulk, grip, and it doesn't leave fingerprints. Only problem is that it will take awhile to get to you.
i got refund on it
i dont think the magnet is strong cause it can barely grab the other side of the cover
anyways i think i may go with amzer's , i liked it before but i chose the flip one to protect the device for longer time, now it seems it'll damage it sooner than any accident
i may consider this, it seems better and really the design that was on my mind before taking the current one:
Orzly - Black Multi-Function Wallet Case Cover Pouch with In-Built Stand Function and Magnitic Sleep Sensors

Looks good and a nice price on Amazon at the mo - I might buy the red one as a spare case.
One of the best cases I've ever owned can be bought here. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JW7AQWY/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. This case fits perfect, adds almost no bulk, matte black and almost feels like there is no case on the phone.

Ordered the Supcase last night. Good deal with good reviews.
I live by these. Almost no bulk, no antenna hole, AND there's a kickstand! Works with a Skinomi screen protector without pushing up the edges too. Oh, and cheap.

The company is some unknown generic Chinese company or something, don't know and I really don't care either. And I'll shut up as soon as all the other people shut up about their favorite ugly cases, how about that?
Otterbox
Spigen Ultra Fit
Got this one, pretty happy with it as it adds hardly anything to the form factor. Using the free screen protector it came with...after a failed attempt with the Spigen Tempered Glass (two pieces of dust got under...drove me crazy). The case does have the antenna cut out but I didnt really care. Nice and simple
Tech21 hands down.

if thats the case, personally i would say yes.... easily, because i for one wont be sticking this huge phone in my pocket. this phone needs to be attached to my belt. plus the otterbox 'rubber' has a real great feel to it, and a swiveling beltclip ?

I had a Spigen Ultra Fit on my N5 and loved it. Wonder if they'll come out with one that doesn't have the antenna cut out.
Any of you guys using the thicker cases have wireless charging? Does it still work? The Spigen on the N5 worked great with wireless charging.

Thanks, I had bought the Verus Thor (slim armor) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00J9TBM96/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and didn't like how big it is. Just got this delivered and it is way better. Doesn't add bulk and I like how the camera cutout feels. It kind of guide's your finger to where it is going, The other one I got felt like I was reaching into a hole to find the buttons.
Some random rubber/plastic case from Ebay for $3 shipped.
Done.
Had to edit this post. The case has a very sharp edge on the bottom where the pinky rests while holding the phone one handed. Not impressed..
G3
So, I initially was not going to rock a case (I haven't used cases or screen protectors in years). However, after dropping my LG G3 just right a few weeks ago and cracking the screen (I have since fixed it), etc. and because I made the mistake and ordered a black leather H815 international unit on Amazon instead of the white ceramic one I wanted...I need to get a case.
I may end up buying a white ceramic back on EBay for $70 later on.
However, regardless of my phones cover, I am interested in the Spigen cases. Especially the Ultra Hybrid...is it super smooth or is it somewhat grippy? Will the phone be slick in my hand?
I'm also looking at the Thin Fit case.
My only comment with Spigen is NEVER buy anything you may make a warranty claim on from anywhere but Spigen or their Amazon store. They are very much counterfeited. I bought a Silm Armor for my S4 when it had been out less than 2 weeks and got a fake. And yes there is a huge difference in quality. Even if you do get a legit one from somewhere else all warranty claims will have to be handled through that somewhere else.

Thanks. I was planning to get it directly off their site. It's not expensive enough for me to worry about trying to source a cheaper alternative.

LOL the thing is when I ordered mine for my S4 the counterfeits were in the market before the authentic ones! It's amazing how fast the fakes can be made likely from stolen images of prototypes.
I highly recommend their cases and have used them for my Samsung S4, LG G2, LG G3, and will soon get one for my LG G4. I buy them on Amazon. They are the real deal (as long as you don't get them off the marketplace) with full warranty and their a bit cheaper than spigen's site.
I had a a NEO-Hybrid case for my GS4 break at the charging port not long after I bought it. I bought it directly from Spigen. Despite that, and having the receipt, they still would not honor the warranty. I ended up buying a knockoff from eBay that's held up to this day. I'll never buy Spigen again.
That's weird. I was upset that they sent me the Korean G3 case with the hole for the antenna (which was not listed on the amazon site). I wasn't happy with that since the hole only applies to the Korean version (small marketshare compared to the world). They sent me the regular version sans hole for free and didn't even ask me to return the original. I've never had any problems with their customer service. I'm very big on customer service and I'll leave you in a minute if I get poor service from a company.
I just got the slim "case", more like a back cover. It will protect against scratches, but not drops.

I tried that one for the G3 last year. I wanted more protection, but liked the slimness.
I got the slim armor as well as the neo hybrid for my g4 both cases are great

Hmm interesting that you mention that. I have the same response with my Ringke Fusion case. The only thing I worry about it is that there's not a lot of space for heat to travel, so the phone gets a little warm.
