I'm happy with the Aukey 3 foot cable, but their 6 foot cables won't fast charge my phone. They replaced my first one, and when the replacement didn't work either, they refunded my order. Their customer service is top notch.

I need a longer charging cord. The factory cords they send with these tabs are wayyyyy too short. 5 feet or so would be perfect. Any recommendations?

Longer cables can be found on amazon and ebay. Here is a link to one example.
http://www.amazon.com/KHOMO-Super-C...2J2M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1326674364&sr=8-1
I guess I should rephrase. What longer cables have you all used that will charge the tab while using it. Most of the extended USB cables have terrible reviews because they can't supply enough juice. I see the cellet cable has good reviews but no numbers tossed around as to what its output is.

I use a regular, generic (female / male) USB extender cable, connected to the stock Samsung one. Works perfectly.

Ditto, mines only a foot or two longer and it is more than enough distance for me.
Why do you need the extra long cable?
A regular extender cable works likea charm...
Dx.com has a lot of those

Hello all!I don't have the official usb cable, and I can't get the charger to work (always get the red light) with all of the cables I've tried.does any one know where to get a replacement cable?

Yes its true.. its tougher btw
Does the phone charge when you directly connect it with the cable?
If so then your qi charger might be broken.
I have to daily charge by note 2 and tablet, I do really want to plug 2 wall adapters into the outlet. Is there a USB hub that I can plug into an outlet that splits into a multi usb hub port that I can plug the USB charging cables into (must output enough current to actually charge the device because I know if I plug my tablet into my laptop I get a X saying battery isn't charging) or is there some sort of cable I can buy that splits into 2?

You could always go this direction...
Anker® 25W 5-Port Family-Sized Desktop USB Charger
Or similar, as long as it has 2A output you should be okay.

that's a bit of a con.
Have a look on eBay. There is bound to be something similar and much cheaper there.
Hubs provide 500mA per port, higher currents would interfere with data signals.
There are a couple of chargers with two 2A ports, mine offers 2x1A or 1x2A, which is getting somehow inconvenient.

Its nice to be nexus branded but still pricey in my opinion. I bought a 2 pack OEM brand new Blackberry playbook 1.8a wall chargers for 4.99 on ebay a while ago. It was an amazing deal and the chargers work great and charge my phone a bit faster.
Just found out they have the daily deal again on ebay for 4.99! Great deal and alternative to the nexus one's if anyone is interested

I bought 6 of these a while back and it's one of the best purchases I've made for my phone. That micro USB is pretty much universal already so it is kind of future proof. I usually get a few chargers at once because they break but I'm still on my same one since December.

Yes
I was going to buy this charger, but i ended up buying the Nexus Wireless Charger because, afaik, it comes with exactly the same micro-usb Nexus charger + cable....
Is like 15€ for the microUSB charger and 25€ more for the wireless charging square......
I know that 15€ for this charger is a lot of money if you compare it with other chargers......but compared to Apple's officials accessories (charger in this case) imo is cheap and it's also standard (micro usb).
However...I admit, it's more fanaticism (to Nexus brand) than anything else.
Thanks for the heads up, just bought a spare as well as a wireless charger - it's about time!
Interesting. If anyone has any feedback, I'm eager to listen to what you have to say.
