So yeah, I have been noticing that my Desire running on the latest MildWild software (and Cyanogenmod 7.2) for that matter has been trouble keeping it's connection constant on Whatsapp.
Basically, it stops 'reporting' when it comes to 'last seen'. Sometimes I have to turn off Wifi (It is mostly on Wifi, can't recall it being the same story on 3G but I think so too) to fix the connection. Other times it just reconnects after a minute.
This happens when the screen is turned off and back on.
It's getting a kind of annoying and I have no idea where to look. I've checked my modem and router and both are fine.
Anyone else with this problem? Any ideas how I can fix this? Also, Wifi Sleep Policy has been set to 'Never'.

Anybody else using a moto 360 with their nexus 6 on Verizon?
I am having connectivity problems between the watch and the phone. Sometimes I speak into the watch and Google is thinking, thinking, and then stops. Like it can't reach the phone. Anyone else?
I don't know if this is a Nexus 6 on Verizon, nexus 6 in general, or moto 360 problem.
As I'm reading about this, it seems like this might be not only a Nexus 6 and Moto 360 problem, but an Android Wear/ Lollipop problem. Hopefully if 5.1 comes out soon, it'll fix this.
No issues here since xmas with my 6.
Thanks for the reply. Weird.

This definitely happens to me too. After giving it a command the little circle keeps spinning until it comes back displaying "offline" even though I'm in an area with good reception. Sometimes though it just keeps spinning until I eventually swipe right to dismiss it and try again. Sometimes when trying to get directions from my watch it'll tell me to open Maps on my phone in order to continue.
An issue that persists for me is immediately upon plugging my Nexus 6 into its charger my 360 disconnects. I notice this immediately because the lost phone notification pops up on my watch and it vibrates sporadically. This is an issue that has really puzzled me because I can't tell what it could possibly be related to.
I used to have issues with text notifications not being pushed, but this has stopped happening. From time to time my watch will disconnect from my phone for seemingly no reason, and I'll get a "did you leave your phone?" notification. This happened today even, while I was using my phone. Other times when I walk out of range and then walk back into range it won't automatically reconnect. When this happens I have to open Android Wear, select Disconnect (even though Android wear will display "connecting...) And then Connect, and it'll connect again.
Almost half the time I go to send a text by voice I get the issue the OP mentioned, where the circle keeps spinning and nothing happens, or "offline" is displayed. I would really love a solution to this as sending texts is a core feature of Android Wear, and it totally defeats the purpose of the smart watch if it's supposed to save you from having to pull out your phone.
BTW I have an AT&T Nexus 6

No issue for me, mine working perfectly but mine is international edition Nexus 6 and running CM 12 ROM.

Thanks for all that input. I definitely see the beginning part as being the problem that I am having.
My 360 and Nexus 6 don't seem to have an issue.
Have you tried updating Google Play Services?

Everything appears to be up to date...
I've checked around and have seen other phones with the issue, but I've tried the fixes like forgetting network and resetting network settings. Ever since mm, every time my phone screen shuts off, it disconnects from wifi, kind of. I will still be connected jn settings, but it says no Internet available. I have to reconnect every time, and then it will work until my screen goes off again. I feel like this is killing my data since I don't always notice it. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it? I'm completely stock, no root or anything. Just did a factory reset a week ago and hoping I don't have to do it again since I'm finally set back up.
Have this issue with both wifi and mobile data. Mine doesnt matter whether the screens been off or not. Its like it goes to sleep periodically no matter what. Never had the issue until the latest update. Its not tied to a specific app, so its either the radio or a bug in the phone.
Hello,
Since Android 6, my smartwatch 3 needs a very long time to get a GPS position.
I use it only for running, with ghostracer or runkeeper.
Time to get the position was between 30sec and 1min before android 6 update.
It is now between 20 minutes and 30 minutes. The behaviour is the same with ghostracer and runkeeper (or wear GPS)
I also have an issue with Google Maps where the map stays gray as if there was no internet access. But I am not sure it is related.
I already tried a factory reset of the watch without success.
Do you see any other way to correct it ? I did not find a way to downgrade the watch.
Thanks.
Experiencing the same thing... I picked up a Moto360 Gen 2 for cheap, I'm infinitely happier with it as a watch. I think I am going to unload my Sony, and pick up a Tomtom tracker for running. $100 or so, direct swap for me, and infinitely more appropriate as a tracker. Half the time I go running, my SW3 fails to pick up a signal the entire run. Or it picks it up and loses it at some point during my run. It's basically useless for tracking at this point. I've owned a lot of devices, it's by far and away the worst GPS reliability I've ever seen.
Im getting about 20 second lock time. dont' have this problem. It could be your unit.
hardreset
Hi,
i did recently a HardReset and the GPS-Fix is much quicker than before..... maybe this helps you
Hi there - try before running pair it with smartphone with GPS on and then let it catch fix - when you will go out with only watch without phone - it should catch fix much faster. I know it does not fix problem, but it will help you for now
Still no solutions? I'd buy one...
Guys I have the same problem. How fix it?
Edit: as You write I did a foctory reset and nie GPS on my watch is working.
WiFi Auto Connect no longer working after Android 10 Update
I normally turn off my WiFi when I leave for work in the morning and it would automatically turn back on and reconnect once I pull in my garage when I come home form work.
Since updating my Pixel 3XL to Android 10 it no longer does this? I didn't change any settings and I've checked and made sure all the proper settings are correct.
Anyone else having this issue? Halp!

You don't need to turn off your wi-fi when you leave your house, or ever. Try resetting network settings under Settings>>System>>Advanced>Reset options.

I've noticed this too. It's not really a showstopper for me, but it is irritating... I wound up doing a whole clean install for 10, so it shouldn't be from any residual crud or anything like that, I have no idea what's up there...

I just love it when people tell other people what they will ever need to do with their phones.
There's multiple reasons for wanting to turn off WiFi when you're not using it - from saving battery life, to not wanting your music to drop out if you're streaming in your car and you get close enough to an Xfinity (or any other captive portal you have connected to before) hotspot and it connects, thus leaving you without a network connection until you log in, which you can't do cause you're driving.
Try turning all the settings off under wifi preferences, and toggle the rating provider, turn them back on. Mine seems to work fine.
It's the same for me. Android 9 used "Smart Wi-Fi" where it would recognize where it was, and automatically turn it back one even after manually turning it off. Android 10 dropped this feature. It was useful as I used it all the time.
