Hello excuse me. Can i use this rom without having an unlocked bootloader? Can i install with the stock recovery like 3 button method or project menu? I have the NXT L29 C185B320 version.

For sure no. To install a custom ROM you need to unlock bootloader and install twrp.

Hi,
i have AL-10 Chinese version. Bootloader Unlocoked and TWRP installed. Can i install this as mentioned by just flashing the zip in TWRP or do i need to do any extra steps?

I am B320. This is my only phone and my daily driver. so Unfortunately, i am not able to test anything in that.. Many thanks for offering your help to customize or create one for my request.. Appreciate it a lot.

Does anyone can tell me what are the experiences with battery life with this rom? In particular I'm interested by the SOT time. Currently I use a stock rom 636b320 and SOT average time is about 7-8h.

Right so both of the files, custom and official says it's corrupted.. Now why is that? There must be something wrong on my side here....

Hm try to change the name to update.zip and flash it again. It's the official 18s.

Its because of only a handful ppl get the .18s on the x720 (x727 got delivered with .18s) and the only system dump I found was with supersu. I will write at the op that Supersu is included. Sry for the confusion.

I have tried the original name (doesn't find the upgrade button ofcourse) and the 'update' name... Like all of them, it starts up... aaaaaaaand it's corrupted

One question: i cant connect my regular headphone with the adaptor. It doesn't read or detect that a headphone is attached. Has anyone experienced this too?

SW Rev Check Fail Fused 2 Binary 1 - Help

I received an error "SW Rev Check Failed Fused 2 Binary 1" when following the root steps for the Verizon Note 7. Does anyone have any suggestions for correcting? I have attempted to flash the stock Verizon ROM via Odin, however I receive the same error.

Flash again the firmware but without the BL(bootloader). Make sure to flash the same firmware version like previous one before root. Or go to Note7Aliance website. They have a lot of stuf there.

Thanks. I tried that but didn't take. I happened across another thread, trying now. Fingers crossed, hard to replace these things now.

You can only flash the same firmware as before. You can't downgrade. Your error message means you try to downgrade. It's impossible to downgrade!

Petersoris, I was able to fix it thanks to Benyou54's advice. I was using what I think is the original software version before, but I was able to find the 9/21/17 update online, version N930VVRS2APHE. It can be found here: http://downloadmirror.co/Umw/VZW-N930VVRS2APHE-20160921072852.zip.
This is the last update before the 60% battery limitation. If you have the limitation you may need to find a newer version.

OTA updates

Hi everybody !
I have an unlocked Pixel XL and i'm receiving software updates normally (the last one is march security patch), but i can't dowload them via mobile data. WiFi only. and in the update message there is a download deadline. For example "you'll not be able to download this update after March, 9th"
Is it normal ?

Actually as I remember, message was saying that you can not download this update with data until 9th of March, So again as I understand you can download it with data after 9th of March, not before. Of course now you said about deadline I get suspicious of what I saw
I download it with wi-fi so, just wait for data, find a wi-fi or manual ota update with ADB side load and enjoy

Internet keeps getting disconnected

I am on the official MIUI Global 10.3.1 Pie ROM and everything works fine except the internet. It will be working fine then bam, no internet on both wifi and SIM. The only option is to reboot the phone and internet is restored immediately on both wifi and SIM. Sometimes this happens while using the internet but sometimes it also happens if I leave the phone for too long. It's very frustrating. Fyi, I am using Blokada but disabling the VPN doesn't make any difference. Is there any solution to this? Thanks.

Have you tried a factory reset? Often it solves problems...
No problem for me until today. Wifi and 4g works both perfectly. (even in hotspots within buildings with a good distance)

No, I haven't yet tried a factory reset as I want to use it as a last resort. I'll wait for some alternatives for a while before I try that.

I understand it's boring, but sometimes it's the only way to get reliable results.

The stock is smooth enough and feature-rich for me to try a new ROM. I'll try a factory reset this weekend. Hopefully, this will fix the problem.

Having the same issue here, has OP already done the factory reset? Did it work?
