Is anyone aware of a custom rom that is able to use Android Auto? I'd prefer it to be android 7+.
I haven't had any luck in my searches. I'm currently on Resurrection Remix, I love the rom, but sadly my android auto no longer works.

Is there any way I can root Nexus 9 running the Remix OS 3.0.001? I looked everywhere and I was unable to find anything related to Remix OS 3.

Oh cool! I did not know Cf-AutoRoot would work for Remix OS. Thanks!
Just got an unused v500 . What should I do, leave it with Android 4? Or install ASOP 7.1? Whats best for normal usage? Is it fast enough for the newest Android version? Any disadvantages?
I have v500 since past two years, so far AOSP 7.1 and LineageOS official latest nightly are the best , though I prefer Lineage since AOSP 7.1 has some performance issues.
Thanks I give the Lineage thingy a try then.
I've been running Lineage os 14.1 for a while and I want to change rom and upgrade to oreo, so which is the best 8.x rom so far?

Depends on what your looking for. The best way to find out is try it for yourself. There is no "one size fits all" when it comes to roms. If you want simplicity and perhaps stability, stay on LOS. Personally LOS lacks certain customizations I really prefer not to give up. I ran crDroid on my Galaxy S4 and found it to my liking more then other roms. Personally I felt like it had the best kernel development of an Los based roms for that device. Since jumping back to an LG G3 I stuck with crDroid because I find the performance great, stability is great, and it has the feature set I like the most. Plus firebird was the maintainer of crDroid for my S4 variant) That said RR(Resurrection Remix) is amazing as well. For that matter all the major roms are great. You really can't go wrong.

Hello! Is there any way to install pure Android (AOSP?) on this device?
Do not recommend me to custom ROMs that are forked from Android and have Pixel experience or something, I want to get info about the ability to install pure Android.
Nope only in custom ROM. This is not Android one phone.

Actually there is a ported rom from android one for whyred but it is not update for a long time. If you know all pure android is based on aosp rom like lineage os, pixel exp, havoc, etc, else you can try GSI.

Hi everybody,
I have a Poco F3 and I want to switch to an AOSP rom.
I wanted to try crDroid but i have read a comment about Android Auto not working.
Since I use it daily and i need it as a feature, can anyone tell me if there is a custom rom (non-MIUI) with Android Auto working?
Thanks a lot!
Android auto works on HavocOS. However it probably works on all the official releases. I'm surprised by that comment on crDroid. Maybe it's something the awesome @raystef66 will look into
